I have listened an interesting podcast which name is "Filming a TV show or Movie". The podcast presents a conversation between a director and his assistant. They discuss about a film or TV show, that how it will be at the end. In the podcast is interesting that the director and his assistant made expressions which made the podcast more interesting. I learnt from that podcast many expressions, words and a new information although it is short. For example I learnt that the area, where a movie or TV show made, called a set or the part of a movie or a TV show that shows an action in a single place called a scene, by one word I have learnt many words, expressions and an information refering to the movie or TV show. I would advise all of my friends who knows english to listen the same podcast.

Hello! I've listened to a podcast called "Lessons to grow rich" .One of the most surprising and interesting fact about wealthy people is that most of them weren't born in rich families .That means they accumulated wealth by working hard and saving money and having a great business idea doesn't hurt either. The process of becoming wealthy begins in your head long before you ever start to see it accumulating your bank account. One of the ways to become rich is saving money. Successful people create long term goals and then work backward so they know exactly what they have to accomplish each year, month, week or day to stay on track. Once you set the process of saving and investing in motion it's easy to continue because it becomes a habit .I think that it's a very interesting podcast. I'd recommend my friends to listen to this podcast!!! :): D
Hello, i have listend a podcast called "What Is the Insanity Defense?" A young man named Jared Lee Loughner allegedly shot and killed 6 people, and wounded 14 others, including a US Congressman, outside a Safeway store in Tucson, Arizona. Criminal law generally requires prosecutors to prove not only the physical act of a crime, but also a mental element, meaning that the defendant committed the crime.... The insanity defense is essentially an attempt to prove that the defendant was incapable of forming the intention required for criminal guilt. If a defendant can establish this defense, the verdict is “Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity.” This does not mean that the defendant can go free. In 1984, following the successful use of the insanity defense by John Hinckley Congress passed legislation imposing a higher standard of proof on defendants, requiring evidence of insanity. Congress specified that the federal insanity defense requires proof that the defendant did not understand the wrongness of his action at the time of the offense, as distinct from some general inability to distinguish right from wrong. It was not very easy podcast for me, i learned a lot of wards... I like this.... I will advise my frind, hope she will like it too :))))

HELLO !! I've listened to podcast which name is "Action and adventire".The host is speaking that what is it about action and adventure tales that readers and writers find so appealing, perhaps it’s the escape from reality and delving into the strange and unknown. Three authors lined up to answer these questions. First up there’s Karen Maitland, author of the historical thriller The Falcons of Fire of Ice, sharing her thoughts on medieval Europe. She is followed by Jacqueline Wilson, who talks to us about her retelling of E Nesbit’s classic tale Five Children and It. Next up is Michelle Paver, author of Gods and Warriors, telling us about the adventures she went on to research her book. And finally we end with an extract from the audiobook edition of Gods and Warriors, read by the actor Toby Stephens. For me it was interesting because I like adventures movies, books and I'm interested in it. I learned many new words. I opened a new world for me. I'd strongly recomend my friends to listen to the same episode.I think that it's a very interesting podcast!!!
Hello everyone!!! I was looking for an interesting podcast and I think I got it. I listened to a podcast called “The History of Oscar”. In this podcast there is a conversation between Nick, Alexander and Vanessa, who want to find out when the first time Oscar was handed out and how it becomes so popular. For me it was interesting because I like to watch movies very much. So everything that is even a little bit about movies is interesting for me. Listening to this podcast I found out that the idea of creating first Academy awards of The USA belongs to the powerful head of Metro-Goldwyn Mayer Louis Mayer. The first Academy awards were handed out on May16, 1929 at the Hotel Roosevelt in Hollywood. It is the oldest award in the world of media. Grammy, Emmy, Tony and many other awards are modeled after the Oscar. At the first time more than 270 people attended the ceremony. As we know in 1929 also began the Great depression, so there were hard times and one ticket for a guest cost only 5 $. In spite of my wonder, at the beginning it was not as full of suspense as now. Even the results were not sealed in envelopes. Organizers started to do it after some years. The “nickname” “Oscar” was give to the Academy awards during the 6-th award ceremony. But ridiculous is that till now no one knows who first used the word Oscar. The creator of sculpture is George Stanley and the designer is Cedric Gibbson. During the Great depression the sculpture was made of plastic, but now it is made of gold. After the first award ceremony Oscar becomes so popular and enthusiasm for Awards was so high that Los Angeles radio station covered the ceremony live. And after so many years Oscar does not lose its status, and every year it makes millions of people from all the world to gather around TV. From this podcast I also heard some other remarkable facts about Oscar which I would like to share with my friends: most “Oscars” got Walt Disney(26),the members of the academy are more than 6000, the length of red carpet is 150 meters, there was a writer who got “Oscar” and his name also was Oscar. There are many- many other interesting facts about Oscar in this podcast, but I will not continue, because I want my friends also to listen to this podcast. The podcast was interesting, I learned many interesting things from it. It was not very easy to understand all the words, but after listening it few times my vocabulary become richer. That is why I would advice all of my friends to listen to the same episode.Hope you will like it.
Hi everyone!I have listened an interesting podcast called "Eating a Home-Cooked Meal".It is dialogue between Louisa and Geal.Geal's mother was planning a welcome home party for Geal next we at a restaurant. After living abroad for a year he was really looking forward to a home cooked meal.Louisa said that he had to say his mother about it.She was so excited about the party and he said that Louisa didn't know her mother. She didn't cut corners and made everything from scratch. She used that recipes that had been passed down to her from her mother. And he didn't have the heart to said that. She could make the most intricate dishes. But what he was craving were the comfort foods she always had made for them when they were kids. It makede his mouth water just thinking about her cooking.Loisa suggested to coming to her house, she would have a home cooked meal ready for Geal. There were many words and expressions for example:got off the phone,to live abroad,to have the heart to do something,to have some sort of heat coming from below, just to slave over something, labor of love,to cut corners or to take shortcuts,to cook or to make some particular food from scratch,to make mouth water just thinking about somebody's cooking etc. There are many expressions but few words. It was interesting for me,so i advise my friends to listen they can learn many new information. And in addition the home-cooked meal is the best,I think!:)
Hello everyone. I have listened to a podcast called "Breaching Computer Security". It was about a company or corporation called McQ which got hacked again. This podcast is a dialog between Jin and Dina: Jin heard the news and was telling Dina about it. McQ Corp was hacked in the past and now it announced that they updated their security measures. For a lot of hackers it was a challenge and tried to hack the McQ Corp again. It was an interesting podcast, I learned some new words and phrases like "Don't wave a red flag in front of a bull", which means to try to make someone angry, and I would recommend people who are not good at english to listen to this podcast.

Hello. My name is Ruben. I have listened many podcasts I think this is the one of the best podcast. This podcast is about animals in the zoo. The two friends are discussing about this topic. The first friend: Deborah says that the animals are feeling good in the zoo, and the second friend: Zach says that the animals are feeling bad. Deborah says that the zoo is the best place for animals. But Zach doesn't agree because he thinks that the animals want to be in bigger place for running hunting and etc, however in the zoo’s they are in the cages and can’t do what they want. And Zach brings an example by asking how would you feel if locked in thee cage for years. Deborah disagrees. The animals are lucky in the zoos: they have a nice, safe place to live away from predators, and their handlers make sure they will never be hungry. Zach said that Deborah must switch places with lions or monkeys for a month to understand that the animals are feeling bad in the zoos. I want that you all to listen this podcast because from it you can learn new words and word combinations.
My podcast is about "carnivores (deep thoughts)". In order for humans to live something must die. We eat meat, fish, eggs, and vegetarians feed on only plants. Now what’s interesting is that plants must be alive when we eat them. It means we can suck out lives of them. So the next time of vegetarian gets on you for carnivores ways let them know that there is salad had just as much as reason to live as your steak did. But vegetarians don’t agree what’s Michael says. I learned that plants which vegetarinas eat could be alive. The only word I've learned: Carnivore- flesh-eating. I advice my friends to listen to this podcast.
Hello everyone. I have listened to a podcast called "A practical joke". It was a dialog between 2 people, and 1 of them was telling what had happened to him. When he was working at his office, and got up to get some coffee, his friend behind him laughed. Then he noticed a piece of paper with an insult written on it which sticked to his pants when he got up. He told the other person that he will get revenge on the man who made fun of him. THis wasn't a very interesting podcast and I didn't learn almost any new words. I wouldn't recommend anyone to listen to this podcast because there are better ones.
Hi everyone! I tried to find and to listen to a podcast where I could find good expressions and information which would be interesting and necessary for me. Now I want to share a podcast called “Different Political Philosophies”. I expected to learn many words and phrases concerning to politics. And my expectations came true. In this episode Carla being capitalist said that their government should do everything to help people find jobs, but Adam said that Carla spoke like a socialist. And then she said that the government should take care of its citizens while they were getting back on their feet. And in this case Carla sounded like a communist. But she thought that the rich mass should pay the majority of taxes. She was going to demand a “revolution”. But Adam was trying to explain that she was wrong in some cases. But Carla thought that the government should do more. She only wanted distribution of wealth. And she asked Adam if he was with her or against her. He answered with humor “It depends when you are going to start a revolution” . In this podcast I could find many important expressions. At first names of political systems and movements _ capitalism, socialism and communism. And also many others _ to put someone out of work (to make people lose their job), to intervene (to become involved to something), to be hands off (not to be involved), to get back on their feet (to become independent again, specially talking about money). The podcast really was interesting and I learned many words and expressions. I’ll advise everyone to listen to this podcast who wants to investigate politics in the future.
Hello everyone! I have listened to a podcast called “Reviewing Job Applications”. It was a dialogue between Missy and Jonathan. They were talking about people who are applying for work at their company, people who are asking to be hired as employees. They were telling that people who need a work much, they worked even with a little salary. But if they could find another work they didn't work, because the company didn't want to give much salary. It was bad,but there was a good thing. The company had a lot of workers, because they added people that needed money and worked with a little salary. That's good, because nowadays a lot of people can't find a work. It had a large vocabulary and had a lot of expressions and words that I did't know. For example:snatch(rob),characteristic(portrait),embarrassment(puzzlement)and a lot of other words. It was quite difficult. And not only the words were difficult, the pronunciation was quite difficult, too. So students(who knows English as much as me)can listen to it(if we expect the pronunciation and words that I didn't know). It was very interesting, because it was telling why people need a work, why they work with a little salary and why people started to work in this company.I think I have already found the podcast that I searched(I couldn't find an interesting podcast for an hour). I will advise all my relatives and friend to listen to the same podcast, because I liked it and it's not easy to find an interesting and good podcast.

That said, I won’t be getting stinking drunk on a school night. Mykhailo said Amy that he liked that place... Hello everyone who is reading my comment! I have listened to an interesting podcast called "Talking about immigration". This episode is a dialogue between Ann and Chris about a popular issue in the United States: immigration. It is also very popular show in Armenia in the sense that from here to America immigrate many Armenians who now are staying there illegally with the reliance that they will find there a brilliant job, sooner they become a millionaire and they will be able to call their relations, members of family or friends. The dialogue begins with Ann`s speech where she is concerned and say that the immigration policy in her country is ridiculous, in America immigrate many people who are illegal immigrants there, and that they cross the border and take American jobs. But they all must be deported. Her colleague Chris try to adjust what Ann said by asking that maybe she was meaning some of the jobs that undocumented workers do, like picking crops and cleaning houses, and not earning minimum wage. Then Ann answered that there’s nothing wrong with that they do some kinds of work, but she would not want to do the works like those. Then Chris started to explain her she wants to benefit from cheap labor, but keeps complaining about immigrants. There needs to be an amnesty or work permit program for working and staying there legally. Ann interrupted Chris and continued her dissatisfaction this times saying that those illegal immigrants find ways for not to pay taxes, too. But Chris said that they don’t get the same social services that citizens or legal immigrants do. If she wants that they do the same, what citizens are required to do, then she has to give them legal status. Then Chris finished his speech by adding a question, which is directed at Ann, if when is her visitor’s visa up. She answered that her visa was up last month, but she until now stays, because she is from Canada, and it is not the same thing as being an illegal alien. The dialogue finishes Chris by saying that she accuses many people who illegally immigrate or staying in America, but do the same thing as the others, and what is that number for immigration. By concluding this dialogue i wanna say that it was about the people lived in America and not only there who trouble for their country when there immigrate people illegally. From this short podcast I have learnt many unknown words and expressions for me, which I need in my everyday speech. For example the word "dodge" that means to find the way not to do something, an important word: immigration, it is when people come into a country from another country and typically become citizen of that country. I have learnt also expressions like "that is just yet", which means "that is my point, that is the thing that I would say", also many expressions and words that refers to some rules of a country. This is very important podcast for our everyday speaking, and for that I wanna advise it to all my friends, who know English and want to refine their knowledges about English, but especially those whose family participate to the lottery called "Green Card".
Hi everyone i had listened to a podcast named"Times of days".It was a dioulog between Adam and Rob.The meaning of this podcast was about time of days like morning, afternoon, night.Character was telling that how it is fun to read books, watch television, play computer at night. And it said that it is more fun when everybody were sleeping in your house. At morning it is more fun when people were getting up early with the song of birds and than they ere drinking cup of coffee and felling better. Hello!!!I've listened to a podcast called "Bees Can Recognize Human Faces".The host was speaking about could they recognise human faces and if the insects could distinguish facelike features from non-faces.ees’ bread and butter is flowers—there’s no reason they should be able to distinguish human faces. But they can. Back in 2005, Arian Dyer at Monash University showed that bees could identify people who they associated who with sugary snacks. But could they recognize humans, or did they just see them as weird flowers?
Then the scientists asked if the insects could distinguish facelike features from non-faces? The bees won sugary rewards when they picked out faces as opposed to pictures that just had random dots and dashes.
Finally, the critters faced their ultimate task: to pick out real faces from those that had the features scrambled. And: score. Bees could indeed differentiate faces from non-faces. The study was published in the Journal of Experimental Biology. Scientists hope that the simple bee brain could be a model for automated facial recognition. Which could help in FBI stings. I enlarge my vocabulary.I learnt many new words, for exaple:dot, slash, distinguish. I'd advise my friends to listen to this podcast because it's a very interesting podcast. I think you will like it!!! :D :D :D

And the differences between whole grain pasta and white pasta are also minimal. The good news is that even though it might not be much slower in calories the whole green option may help you feel folder for longer primarily because of the extra five or. And here's another reality check for you all grain products are only slightly easier on your blood sugar then refined brains. As a general rule you wanna avoid foods that because oh rapid rise and fall in your blood sugar levels and that's one big reason that i suggest you limit your intake of foods that contain a lot of sugar.

My podcast is about "clothes (deep thoughts)". The author is Michael Mennega. As the weather gets warmer and humans begins to shed their heavy clothes we’ve come to realization that covering up tents to make all us bit lazy. We eat more, exercise less and generally just neglect our bodies. Hey if you can’t see it you don’t care it this got me thinking in order to make the world a better place maybe it’s time to clothing all together at least in the warmer climates. Who needs clothes when it’s a hundred plus degrees outside, if everyone is naked we may all take better care of ourselves, so do your part to make the world more beautiful. Take off your clothes and go to work, it will certainly make your day at the office more interesting. The words I've learned: realization- accomplishment neglect-disregard I advice my friends to listen to this podcast.
My podcast's name is "Money (deep thoughts)". Money is a part of life. There’s just no way around it. We live in a world that requires money. There are those people who think they can get along without, but even they in the end must admit that it is a necessary part off living in our complex world. Money helps us live a comfortable and predictive life money helps us keep warm and fed. Now, it is important to remember to not let a cash, becomes the only reason that you live your life. So actually money is a lot like a beer you know, you really shouldn’t care about it and tell that there isn’t enough to get you through the weekend. I advice my friends to listen to this podcast.
Hello, I’m Ruben. I chose this podcast because I think that it’s useful to know what we eat. The podcast is about types of sandwiches. If you are hungry and you have no time to make your food yourself you can go and eat sandwiches in the fast food restaurants, but if it’s late or early and the restaurants are closed you can make sandwiches yourself. When you make sandwiches yourself it will be cheaper, more useful and quickly, than the sandwiches which will be made in restaurants. Because of the restaurants are closed in the early mornings or in the late evenings people can make sandwiches themselves and make and eat whenever they want. There are many types of sandwiches for example; BLT, pastrami on rye, French dip, cheese steak, settles for tuna. You can choose what type of sandwich you want. I advise my friends to listen this podcast because for me it was attractive. I knew words connected with food especially types of sandwiches. So if I go to the restaurant I can order what type of sandwich I want without menu.
Hello! I wanted to find an interesting podcast and I think I have already found it.I have listened to many podcasts, but they were very boring. Then I found an interesting podcast called "Being an early or late riser. Now I want to speak about this podcast. This podcast is a dialogue between Spiro and Nancy. They were talking about being an early or late riser. One of them was telling that she got up very early and she thought that it was good for her.But the other speaker was telling that he couldn't sleap early and he was playing games with computer all the time.He also told that he drank much coffee and it was one the reasons that he couldn't sleep. So everyone is different. Some of us sleeps a lot and one of us doesn't sleep much. This podcast has a large vocabulary and it is related to the podcast.I've learnt a lot of words and experssions from this podcast. For example, deprive(to take something from someone), to turn over a new leaf(to begin a new),don(the beginning of the day). It was an interesting podcast and I liked it very much. After listening I understood that we should sleep a lot, because if we don't sleep enough we won't be attentive or active that day.It was also teaching us a lot of words. That's why I liked this podcast. I will advice my friends and relatives to listen to the same podcast. And now I want to advice you to listen to this podcast.

Julie hoped that it maybe still a chance for reconciliation. Laurent complained that Brittany walked all over him and didn’t care one iota about his feelings. Then suddenly the phone rang and Julie answered. It was Brittany. She wanted to talk with Laurent. Laurent took the phone and talk with her...... Good story. Hello everyone who is reading this comment!! Now I am going to present you a podcast called "Adopting a child". This episode presents a dialogue between Scott and Roberta about adopting a child. One day Scott have seen that Roberta was looking through the material she and her husband got on adoption. She meant adopting a child, that she and her husband Robert have been thinking for a long time and now think that they might be ready. Roberta and Robert decided on a domestic adoption. And Scott started to say that is a lot of responsibility and asked many questions about their readiness and some problems that take a lot of time for adopting a child. At the end of the dialogue Scott said that he had hoped everything went smoothly then Roberta and Robert would make great parents. Roberta on her turn said that they need to childproof and asked Scott to take the television off Roberta`s and Robert`s hands, because their big - screen TV looked dangerous. This podcast was very interesting for me and I am sure that it also became interesting for the others who would listen to that. It is a long episode containing many expressions and words using in that field of our everyday life. And because I am not married, don`t live in America and not an adopted child I did not know the meaning of these words and expressions, but now I have learnt. For example the expression "to take something something off somebody`s hands" means to take something that the other person does not need or does not want anymore, or the word "hazard" means something that could be dangerous and a lots of other words and expressions. I would advise all my friends who knows English and who wants to develop his/her English knowledge to listen to this very interesting and teaching episode. Thanks for reading my comment!
Hello everyone!! I have listened to a podcast called “The history of beer”. It is a dialogue between Vanessa and Nick in a live show. After Vanessa thanked Nick for being there, they began to tell many interesting facts about beer. Exactly these facts I will present today in my text. First of all I would like to mention that beer is one of the world’s oldest prepared beverages. It is possible that people began to make a beer in early Neolithic. The earliest evidences of beer were found in Iran. One of the earliest written evidences of beer was found in Xenophon’s writings. After being in Armenia he wrote that Armenians could make a very pleasant drink, which was not mixed with water and was not as strong as wine. Beer was not very popular in Rome, but Celtic, Germanic and many other tribes liked beer very much. And Vikings liked beer so much that they even believed in Valhalla (abode of heroes who dead in battle) people used beer. In the middle ages women were the masters of making beer, not men. In Europe beer was brewed from wheat, oats, and barley. And in ancient China it was browed from rice. But the ancient Babylonians were the first people who brew. Furthermore, they took their beer so seriously, if you did a bad beer your punishment was to be drowned in it. In the middle ages, the production of beer in Europe was shifted to the monasteries. European monks knew how to do a perfect beer. In those years beer was considered as a drink of poor and had lower status than wine. Moreover at that time was very difficult to find clear water, so many people chose to drink beer instead of dirty water because it was saver. But due to winemaker’s efforts, who sought to maintain the prestige of their products, beer again became popular. Brewing was improved up also due to many biologist and chemist, such as Louis Pasteur and Emil Hansen. And now beer is popular mostly due to football. Now many countries have beer production. But the best beer is producing Belgium, Germany and the USA. But according to many opinions, the USA is also world’s worst beer producer. It is followed by China and Great Britain. There are many types of beer. Beer is measured and assessed by bitterness, by strength and by color. But the basic types of beers are ales and lagers the strongest beer in the world is made by Scottish brewers from “Brewdog” company. Beer contains many vitamins so it is healthy for human organism. But excessive consumption of beer can lead to alcoholism. There is even an illness called Cenosillicaphobia, which is a fear of empty glass. In addition, Michael Jackson was an author and beer critic. The water in different regions was originally better suited for certain types of beer. In Colorado, it is not legal to ride a horse after drinking beer. President Theodor Roosevelt liked beer so much, that took 500 gallons of beer with him while going to Africa. I like this podcast because it is interesting, secondly- it is a little connected with my future profession. Also there are many new words that I learned from this podcast: Beverage-something for drinking (such as whisky or liquor) Abode – a place to stay, habitation Monks-religious people who live in monasteries Excessive-much more than is needed Consumption-use (for ex. The consumption of water is useful for human organism. ) This podcast I would advice my friends also, especially boys, because it will be interesting for them more then for girls. Thank you for your attention!!!
Hello my dear friends!!! Today I listened to a podcast called “The Empire State Building”. The episode presents a broadcast in which Vanessa, Alexander and Lisa begin to talk about The Empire State Building in the middle of a live show in a radio studio. Now I will share with the information that I got listening to this podcast. The Empire State Building is a 102 story skyscraper located at Fifth Avenue, in New York city. It is an office building. It is one of the most beautiful buildings in New York. The Empire State Building was designed by William Lamb who did the building drawings in just two weeks. The most money for building gave John Rockefeller. At first the top of the building was designed for mooring zeppelins. However, that project was abrogated due to security reasons. The construction of the building started on March 17-St. Patrick’s Day. In the project were involved over 3.400 people who worked contemporaneously (among those workers were also many immigrants about whom Bella Hambardzumyan wrote. The final costs of building totaled 40 million dollars. The construction took only 410 days. For a week were built about four and half floors. That “giant” was officially opened on May 1, 1931. For 40 years it was the tallest building of the world. Now it is the tallest tower in New York. Now The Empire State Building is generally thought of as an American cultural icon. It is designed in the Art deco style and has been named as one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World. Owner of this building is W& H Properties. It is currently the second tallest skyscraper in USA. Its name is derived from the nickname for New York, the Empire State. The Empire State Building is the first construction in the world having 100 floors. Now there are 102 floors in the building and the height is 443 m. weight is 331.000 tons. It has 6500 windows, so I will not be envious of the window cleaners if after cleaning all the windows there will be a rain. The Empire State Building accommodates 1000 different businesses and 21.000 employees. It also has 73 elevators. Once elevator man who was in the lift survived after falling from a height of 75 floors. And this incident got in The Guinness Book. The tower has floodlights which illuminate it at nights magnificently and change their color according to current events. For example when Elizabeth II came to the tower, the illumination was gold. And the lights of the tower were turned off for 15 minutes only once, because of actress Fay Wray death. The Empire State Building has one of the most popular outdoor observatories in the world, having been visited by over 110 million people. The most famous visitors of the building are Elizabeth II, Franks Sinatra, Ronald McDonald, Tom Cruise and many others. So it is one of the most famous buildings of the world. And the funny thing is that it became popular thanks to the film “King Kong”. And one more thing: my dear friends if you want to own The Empire State Building do not defer, just get a ticket to the USA, sell Armenia for getting 1 billion dollar and buy it , it is so easy… I finally finished presenting the podcast that I listened. In conclusion, it is interesting podcast; I get a lot of useful information about The Empire State Building. It was not hard to understand the meaning of the podcast because broadcasters spoke very clear. I learned some new words and expressions, such as To abrogate-which means to cancel (for ex. The court hearing was abrogated.) Primarily-first of all, above all To moor- to fix ships in its place by rope or anchor Zeppelin-airship Contemporaneously - at the same time Derive means receive, obtain Accommodate means contain Illuminate (when the lights are turned on/ for ex. The room was illuminated by lamp) To give some more insight into its history- to give much more important, deep information I like this podcast and I think I did not waste my time in vain listening to it. That is why I would advice my friends to listen to this podcast too.
Hi everyone! At first I did'nt find any interesting podcast but finally I have found.I have listened to a podcast called "Breaking the Rules of Parenting"A woman was talking about parents. She said that there is no perfect parent and everyone does mistakes including her.She told about how they had good time together(with her family). They always play video games with her son, daughter and with his husband but homework always must be done. Sometimes or I can say usually they eat fast food (especially french fries, pizza and hamburger)but alas her children love fast food very much and of course they know that isn't good and healthy food but whatever happens her children eat fruits and vegetables every day. They do exercises every day with expact 3 conect. They always do pijama days. The woman said try to be good and careful parent.I didn't found any new words but it was intereting podcast if you want you can listen it.Of course you learn about being parent.
Hi everyone(again)!I have listened to a podcast called"Tips for a fun and safe Halloween"Everyone choose some dresses for Halloween and usually scary dresses for example,Vampires,witches,monsters,devils... and there are kind characters for example,angels,bunnies...Though the origin of the word Halloween is Christian, the holiday is commonly thought to have pagan roots. Historian Nicholas Rogers, exploring the origins of Halloween, notes that while "some folklorists have detected its origins in the Roman feast of Pomona, the goddess of fruits and seeds, or in the festival of the dead called Parentalia, it is more typically linked to the Celtic festival of Samhain", which comes from the Old Irish for "summer's end".Halloween marked the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter or the 'darker half' of the year.On that kids go to neighbor's house and ask for candies but if the neighbor doesn't give any candies, kids have to play ba trick on them. The thousands of Halloween postcards produced between the turn of the 20th century and the 1920s commonly show children but not trick-or-treating.The editor of a collection of over 3,000 vintage Halloween postcards writes, "There are cards which mention the custom [of trick-or-treating] or show children in costumes at the doors, but as far as we can tell they were printed later than the 1920s and more than likely even the 1930s. Tricksters of various sorts are shown on the early postcards, but not the means of appeasing them". Trick-or-treating does not seem to have become a widespread practice until the 1930s, with the first U.S. appearances of the term in 1934,and the first use in a national publication occurring in 1939. In Halloween: From Pagan Ritual to Party Night, Nicholas Rogers explained Halloween jack-o'-lanterns as originally being representations of souls in purgatory. In Brittany children would set candles in skulls graveyards.Halloween party is fun and interesting day,I love this day very much but every year we want to mention this day and we fail it but why I didn't know. There were some words to learn for example,occurring,goddess,commnly,origins,folklorists,feast...It was very interesting podcast,I advice my friends to listen.
Hi everyone i had listened to a podcast named "Scary Monster".It was a dialog between Tess and Ravi again. It was interesting about me because it was about a lake where maybe is living a monster called Nessi.Characters told that some people said that one man had seen a monster in 1933 but it wasn't clear information. It's a good place for tourists to go to the north of Scotland and see the lake.It told that some people went there to find the monster but nobody couldn't do that. It's a beautifull place too. There are many books and films about the monster and lake. One of characters told that it would be sad that there wouldn't be a monster but the second one told that people would be scared to went there. I liked this podcast very much.It hadn't got many words and big vocuballary but it was very interesting.I advise my friends to listen to this podcast. You can find the link of website from my second writing.Thankyou:)
Hi everyone I had listened a podcast about brain science.Brain Science Podcast is a discussion of Self Comes To Mind: Constructing the Conscious Brain by Antonio Damasio. Damasio's book focuses on the answer to two key questions: How does the brain generate the Mind? and How does the Brain generate Consciousness? His approach is unusual because many scientists and writers treat the Mind and Consciousness as identical. In contrast, Damasio argues that Mind proceeds Consciousness. Listen to this podcast to learn how the Mind becomes Conscious.
Hello everyone who is reading my comment.I have listened to a podcast called "Writing a story".This episode is a dialog between Xavier and Sara. They talk about poems, roman, adventures and horror stories. When I listened a dialog I understood that Sara is a writer and also dialog going about Sara and about her short or long but interesting stories. In a dialog Sara told that she wrote one short story ,but she didn't know what names are characters can have or what things they can did.Xavier also wanted to help Sara.He asked to Sara "please Sara told what type of story is it?Like roman, poem or horror story".Sara think and said that she didn't know what type of story is it.Xavier think, think and told that he think that you will got out of this situation. I think that this podcast can be more interesting if my friends go and listen it thyself. I have learned from it a lot of new words, new phrases and new information. For example, "abandoned"- to give up on something completely, "plot"-is the main events in a novel, play or movie with my collet the main story line,"up in the air"-means it's undecided it's not sure,"got your work cut out for you"-means to be required the complete something that is going to be very difficult like you have a very difficult problem to solve,"inspiration"-is something that acute to you that simulate your mind to do or to feel something like to create peoples for example, artists, painters and other. I would advise my friends to listen to the same podcast, because they can learn from it a lot of new words, new phrases and new information.I said honestly that if you listen this podcast you won't regret. You can listen this podcast in www.eslpod.com !!!!!!!!!:)))
Hello!!! I’m Ruben. And I would like to tell you a podcast which I have listened. The podcast as I said, which I have listened named “Driving while calling & Texting”, is between Pamela and Josh who are calling and testing and also doing things when they shouldn’t been doing. The dialogue is when Josh is driving the car and Pamela is speaking with her friends with cell phone. Pamela asked Josh if he saw Sarah’s tweet and also added that it was funny one. Josh answered that Pamela is interfering him because he is texting and at the same time driving car. By the way he is texting Lance, with whom they are going to meet, to know whether he knows where they are going to meet up. At that moment Lance calls Pamela and Pamela says if she got Josh’s message. Lance answered that she didn’t get any message. Josh started to worry because he sent the message to other person and finds out that he sent message to her friend named Jessica. While Josh was driving Pamela’s cell phone rings and the caller was Jessica. She proves that Josh sent her a message. And except message Josh also wants to send Jessica a picture. While they are taking a photo, they heard squealing. They both found out that in the road except them no one was and they did that car squealing. By listening this dialogue I understood that it’s illegal and also dangerous driving a car while calling or texting. I give advice all people to listen to this podcast even the ones who are not driving a car because they can give advice or warn them and say that driving while calling and texting is unsafe and risky. For example in US especially in California it is illegal to do such things while driving. People are so stupid that don’t realize that it’s dangerous to text while driving. Stupid people are everywhere and our must is to warn them about further implications.
I have listened to a podcast called "Airport Layover". It was about a woman who was going to see a friend in Oklahoma city. It was also a short dialog between her and a man who shared his table with her at the food court. The woman had three hours to kill so she decided to go to the food court. However, all the tables were busy and a man shared his table with her. There were some words I learnt like layover, which means that when someone wants to go to a city which is very far away, they must first take a plane/planes to another city/cities to be able to reach the city they want to visit. I would recommend people who are bad at english to listen to this podcast to learn some new words and be more relative with english. Podcast from eslpod.com.
Hello!!! I've listened to a podcast called "Take a Virtual Moonwalk for Science". The host was speaking about a chance that we can virtually walk on the moon . Twelve men have walked on the moon. And now you can, too. Virtually, that is. Because planetary researchers are enlisting everyday citizens in scientific exploration of the surface of the moon. At the Web site moonzoo.org, you can check out new high-resolution images taken by NASA’s Lunar Reconnaisance Orbiter Camera. And the team at Citizen Science Alliance, based at Oxford University, says you’ll then be one of the first to see the moon’s surface in what they call unprecedented detail. This lunar project is a spin-off of the popular Galaxy Zoo, which has gotten more than 250,000 people around the world involved in actual astronomical research. For the moon exploration effort, you might, for example, count craters as you stroll. The researchers say that’s important because it can help them determine the age and depth of the lunar surface. Newer craters could give them clues about recent meteor impacts—and hints about what might be in store for us on Earth.Who knows what strange object you might find. That’s at moozoo.org. I learnt many new words from this podcast, for example; determine , clue . I think that it's a chanse for all of you to explore moon , mysterious universe . I'd advise my friends to listen to this podcast because it's a new chanse to open a new world for you. I thin that you will like it!!! :D :D
Hello!!! I listened an episode called <>, speaker was speaking about these verbs ,and also about people or students who are doing lots of mistakes with it. Speaker wanted t everybody to learn about this topic or just for revising. There are many students, even ordinary people who don’t know this very well, this topic is one of the most important lessons that we should know. When we want to speak about past, for instance, what we did or something like that, we can’t say for example I BUY IT LAST YEAR, we should say I BOUGHT IT LAST YEAR, for example TELL-TOLD,BUY-BOUGHT,DO-DID, and lots of different words. I think that, this episode is very cool and interesting, by looking this episode we can learn lots of new words and lots of new things that we didn’t know or just discovered at this moment, but not only this much, if we know all these it can be just a revision for all of us. This is a very important lesson and I’m sure that, it’s gonna be very important in our lives. I learned lots of new words and things, I can say it was just a revision for me but anyway this was a very good episode for me and I am sure it was cool for those who listened to it. This episode is natural and nothing can be compared with it, new words that I learned are help-helped,tear-tore,freeze-froze,seek-sought,stick-stuck,light-lit,spread-spread and more, I advise my friends to look and watch this episode and I’m sure they will learn lots of new verbs and words. Kris Samuel THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION!!!!!
Hello! I’ve listened to a podcast called “Taking the driving test”. This theme is also very actual in Armenia nowadays, because there were some changes in the law to take the driving test and to get the license in Armenia. In this episode a man had taken a driving test and told about it his woman interlocutor. She was going to take test after a week and she was worried about driving, because of not having very much practice of driving. But he said that the test was easy. He told how he had taken it. At first he had fastened seat belt, then he had been ordered to change lines, to use signals, to cross an intersection and many other things. But she said that she had driven a real car only two or three times. The guy said that she need some more. Then she purposed to practice with the guy and asked: -Could you? The guy answered: -No, I must go somewhere. The episode was very interesting. I learned many words and expressions concerning to car. For example: seat belt ( a belt or strap worn in a vehicle to restrain forward motion in the event of a collision ), to fasten (to connect two things together), lane (a narrow road or way between buildings, hedges, fences, etc) and many other useful words. I’ll advise everyone to listened to this podcast, because I think almost all of us are going to drive a car in the future.
The conversation begins between Magda and Tony.. Tony has gotten a new pet dog. Tony was going to feed him a few treats and gave him some water in his bowl. She is going to groom him later. she should not wanted him to get fleas or ticks. Maybe she should taked him to see the vet for a checkup.

I think that podcast can be more interesting if my all friends who can read this podcast go and listen it thyself. It can helps them to understand all ideas which in podcast. I have learned from it a lot of new words, new phrases and new information. For example, "lurk"-means to be somewhere, but to be hiding,"creepy"-means scary, but also uncomfortable something that makes you uneasy, "scared stiff"-means to be very frighten,to be very scary,"goosebumps "-are little small bumps or razed arias on your skin that are caused by ether cold temperatures, some people said they can be caused by fear,"gullible"-means to be easily treat or the saved to believe everything that you're told. Hello everyone! I have listened to a podcast called "Being a Strict Parent".I wanted to find something like that, because other kinds of podcast are usually boring, but somethimes they are interesting, too.I have listened to many podcast before writting about this, but this podcast was the best for me. This podcast was a dialogue between an old woman and his friend or someone else. They were talking about being strict and the woman told that she was a strict mother and also grandmother. She told that she didn't let her daughter and granddaughter to do everything they wanted. Her friend was surprised and asked if her granddaughter and daughter didn't shrink, but she told that they didn't and she wanted to educate them and if she let them to do everything they wanted they wouldn't be educated. So she told why she was strict and she also was sure she was right. Her friend also understood that she was right. It was interesting, because it was teaching us to educate our children in the future. It was not very difficult, but despite not being very difficult,it had some words and expressions I didn't know.I think she was neither right nor wrong, because I think parents shouldn't be very strict, but they educate us by being strict. This podcast had a large vocabulary andI want to name some words and exrpessions I didn't know and their meanings. For exaple,to spoil someone's rotten( to do something nice for another person),tight(to be very worried),pot(to cook) and many other words and expressions. I will advice my friends and relatives to listen to the same podcast, because it was interesting, the pronunciation was good and I learnt a lot of new words. Also,I want to advice you to listen to the same podcast, too.
Hello, my name is Ruben. I have listened many podcasts but I think this is one of the most discussed one. This podcast is about animals who are in danger. As we know there are many animals and birds on the Earth which are disappearing nowadays. Many of them are in danger. Indian tigers and African elephants are among them. Tigers and elephants are dangerous, and they can kill domestic animals and even man. People are afraid of tigers and for their lives people are killing tigers. But there are people who are killing tigers for their skin because their skin price is very high. Although they are dangerous for other animals they prevent diseases not to be continued. For example when people noticed that in the area where deer exist are eaten by tigers. For that people killed all the tigers living in the area and some weeks later deer also started to die because the deer who were ill killed also the deer who weren't ill. So the tigers ate ill deer and prevented diseases. African elephants are wonderful animals. They can help people. In 19th century there were many elephants in Africa. But these days there are not many of them except in African parks. Modern life is bad for animals because the air is not fresh, the water is not clean, they don't have good things to eat. We can find there names in the Red Book. Even we can find fish's names on it. I know this is the most discussed topic. About this the hole world is speaking, even in the books for teenagers connected with this topic. But we must do our best to help not only the animals which are in danger but the animals which are not because if we don't take care of the animals who are healthy they will also become extinct. Animals are part of our nature and we must take care of them as we can.
Hello, my text is about “Your Hired! Interview Skills to get the job ”. You are totally screwed every time you walk into an interview. You are outman because you interview once every seven years, while your interviewers do this every single day. You may think that when it comes to getting a job, interviewers have more power than you do. But this is not have to be true. You have more power in running your life and getting a job than they do. You may not get a particular job which is okay, because you’re listening to this to get a good job, the right job for you. In your town and across the country there are hundreds of companies that value your skills. People who are looking to hire someone, want to make it offer sooner, rather than later. The employer wants you to be the one, who gets the job. They don’t want to spend their time, money and energy continually interviewing people to well a position, they want to hire you and get back to the business of the organization. Your job is to get out of your own way. So that by the end of the interview, the employers can feel comfortable for feeling their desire to make you an offer. That doesn’t sound so bad, does it? The only word I've learned: value- price I advice my friends to listen to this podcast.
Hi everyone today my podcast is about "Going to the cinema".It was about going to the cinema. It was about kind of films. For example:Documenetery films, comedy films, trailers, action movies, horror films and other kinds of films.Adam who told this podcast said that he took interview from many people and they liked different kinds of films. Some of them liked films that were very interesting in 1970 or in 1960.It was about that some people like to sit in front of the cinema. For example one man from Italy like to sit like this. And he advises some films too.Like Gladatior,Thor or Lizard. And some Russian films too.One man told that he liked KING KONG because it was very fantastic. But some people told that they didn't like to went to the cinema because it is not good to sit in black walls and listen some strange noises. I liked this podcast because i learned some new words, new phrases and new information. I advise my friends to listen to the same podcast. Thankyou:)

Hi.My podcast about english.Whether it’s travel, business, education, or the arts, English is your gateway to the world. Although Chinese has more native speakers, no language rivals English as the global lingua franca, with over 1 billion people worldwide learning the language. It’s the language of United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and spoken in many other countries. Sing it or quote it—songs, movies and television are popular ways that people learn English, and due to its global reach, the language is in a constant process of transformation. From its beginnings in the German invasion of Britannia in the 5th century to the professional lingo and slang of today, English is a vibrant, living language.
Livemocha courses teach American English, though you can learn other dialects from members of the Livemocha community.
Hello!!! I've listened to a podcast called "Using National Parks as Climate Change Education Grounds".The podcast was about YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK.YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK, Calif. – On any given summer evening about 60 tourists gather in campground amphitheatres here for park ranger presentations. Astronomy, geology, human history, fire ecology are on the regular schedule of program topics. Wilderness safety and Yosemite's notoriously aggressive black bears are also popular.
But one July evening Yosemite ranger Matt Holly popped something different onto his projector screen: "Yosemite's climate: Past…and Future?"
What followed was a rare and relatively new occurrence in Yosemite Valley – a ranger program focused exclusively on how one of the jewels of America's national parks system is responding to a changing climate.
During the hour-long slide show, Holly sum marized the effects of climate change in Yosemite – including shrinking waterfalls, intensifying wildfires, and vanishing species. He didn't flinch from controversy, presenting evidence for human influence on global temperature and debunking common "natural causes" myths. Holly told to his audience that there is noone who would say that there is no change in climate . After the presentation, a few visitors approached Holly with general questions about Yosemite’s trails and wildlife. An older couple, longtime volunteers in the Park, thanked him for inserting a new topic into the nightly rotation.
Talks like Holly's, while rare today, represent the future for the National Park Service, said agency director Jonathan Jarvis.
Two years ago Jarvis launched a system-wide Climate Change Response Program. Communication, research, adaptation, and mitigation are the four main components. The Park Service has a legion of scientists, biologists, geologists and other experts working on the latter three. But communication and education, Jarvis said, may ultimately prove to be the agency's biggest contributions to the field.
The public come to the national parks not necessarily with an intent to learn something.
In national parks across the country, the impacts of climate change are sobering. Scientists with the U.S. Geological Survey report that global warming could eliminate most glaciers from Glacier National Park within 20 years. Warmer temperatures and increased fire frequency over the next century could eliminate the Joshua tree from 90 percent of its current range within Joshua Tree National Park, according to another USGS study. In Yosemite, scientists from the University of California, Berkeley have documented many species, particularly small heat-sensitive mammals such as the American pika, moving to higher ground
Those changes – some of which are readily apparent to park visitors – make communication easier, Jarvis said. "We're seeing climate change on the ground now in parks," he said. "That's an opportunity to demonstrate to the public that climate change is happening, in their lifetime, in real time, on the ground in front of them."
The threat to these popular recreation sites also gives the public a reason to care. Stanford University education professor Nicole Ardoin says that national parks have a personal and cultural significance that could inspire visitors to act on problems like climate change. "Talking about a very direct threat to those places brings up something very emotional related to climate change," she said. "It's a great time to reach people, when they're emotionally raw and ready to do something." I learnt many new words , for example ; rotation ,debunk ,to flinch, controversy . I would advice my friends to listen to the same episode because I think that it's a very actual theme and all of us will think about how to solve this big envoirmental problem!!!
Hello!!! I listened an episode called <>. Speaker was speaking about friends and friendship. It told that, when you are tired or when you have free time don’t lose it, you can do lots of things alone, but there are things and activities that you can’t do alone, or maybe you would like to do them with a friend, or maybe with in group. Yeah, there are different kinds of activities , for example ,cycling, running, drawing, watching TV, or just playing computer games which can be done alone or with a friend, what do you think..?Which would be more interesting, cycling alone or together..??? For me, with a friend..!!! But there are some activities that can only be done with groups or with a friend, for example, some yard games, I also think, when you are with a friend you speak with him or her and enjoy more. Hi everyone!!!I have listened to a podcast called "Magic and Illusions"It was very interesting podcast and it was a dialogue between Patricia and Segio.Patricia persuaded Sergio that the magic show was really great, she said that she had never seen magic show like that, so many amazing magic tricks in her life. But Sergio didn't agree with her and said that he didn't believe a tricks like that,he said that there were only lying them and they were all just illusions.they had seen some really impressive might have hands tricks. And that escape artist seem to do the impossible. He said that it was only miss direction. While Patricia was looking the magician left through the trap door. Maybe that's how that trick was done,he said the magician is only mind reader. But Patricia asked how he knew what she was thinking if he could really read her mind. She was sure any supernatural powers these magician and entertainers claim to have had been done bumped by somebody. Maybe he used the power of suggestion. Who knows. And maybe he was the most billable person whoever lived. There were many new words and expressions in this episode for example, to blow one's mind which means to make someone feel very surprised or a excited or impressed, smoke and mirrors they both mean the same which is that you are distracting people to focus their attention on something else or somewhere else, miss direction which means to direct someone to the wrong place,a trap door which means actually in the floor but you can't see it you don't know what is there,a mind reader is someone who can tell in this case what is in your mind so mind reader would be someone who can say i know what you are thinking. Another word for a mind reader would be a psychic. A psychic is a person who says that he or she has the power to know what other people are thinking or even to know what will happen in the future. The expression mind reader is sometimes used in a discussion or an argument especially between for example a husband and a wife.A sentence supernatural powers these magician is and entertainers claim to have have been did bumped by somebody supernatural is something that is beyond the natural beyond the normal above what normal human beings can do. Supernatural power it would be the ability to do something that would otherwise be impossible, the expression power of suggestion is when you give someone an idea a slot and make them think that it was there i did to begin with. So they believe it, to be jaded means that you have experienced something too much so that you're no longer. Interested in it or you are no longer become excited. There are also other words that I can't say because there are a lot of.So I advice my friends to listen to this podcast because they can learn about magic, they can learn many new words and expressions.Thank you for reading, your friend Rozy.
Hi everyone. I have listened to a podcast called "CAFE LIVING". It was in the middle) - not bad, not good... Tom told that one of his favorite hang-outs is a cafe near where he lives, called Bolivar in Santa Monica. It's only five minutes away, and its never too busy to find a table. Sometimes it can be bustling, but that's usually just in the morning during rush hour or at lunchtime. The owners are from Venezuela, and always have some cool music playing in the background. One day he decided to take his New York Times and his laptop and kill a few hours there. He ordered the usual. The folks there know he wants a Vanilla Latte with a double shot of espresso, hold the whipped cream. Sometimes he orders a coffee cake if he feeling a little hungry. The cafe also has soup and sandwich menu. Sometimes he just sit and watch the people come and go. Can get all types at that cafe. For example, a mother comes in with her three daughters, and one of the little girls ordered a latte! That being Los Angeles, you have typical mix of screenwriters, out-of-work actors, and various Hollywood wannabes. They make for a colorful mix most of the time. Tom just sit and read his paper...
THE WORDS WHICH I DID NOT KNOWN: HANG-OUT - a place where you spend time BUSTLING - to be very busy RUSH HOUR - that time when people go to wark, or come back To KILL TIME - to spend time TO HOLD - do not add SCREENWRITER - a person who writes a text of a movie or a TV program OUR-OF-WORK - someone who doesnt have a job WANNABES - someone who wants to be something, but is not...
I will tell about what to do during the interview. The interview context , the purpose of your resumy , is to get you the interview, the purpose of your interview is to get you the job. That’s right, you get the interview as you can get the job. It could be a phone interview or in person interview but you will need to have some conversation with the recorder or hire manager before you get a job author. Of course you’re not the only one selling yourself during an interview. The recorder or hire manager also selling you on a position and your organization. The interview is your opportunity to better understand what makes this position the right one for you, your interviewers want to hire you. Remember, that is the big secret, they want to meet you and know that you are the person they want. Knowing this go to the interview. They have already decided to hire the perfect person, there are only two questions you should be considering in the interview process. One is, are you the perfect person for the job? The other is, is this job mid your needs? That’s it. Do your best and answer this questions. I advice my friends to listen to this podcast.
Hello, my name is Ruben. I listened a dialogue between two friend Bob and Andy. They were talking about trips. They discussed about what type of trip is the best. There are many types of trip. For example water tripe, air tripe, even there are space trips. But each type has it's name. For example water trip is journey, space trip's name is space voyage. The most expansive trip is space voyage second is water and the third is air trip. Bob said that there are few people that want to go to space for space voyage because it is very dangerous but air trip and water trip is dangerous too because during air trip airplane can crash and during water tripe ship can go down. And on that time many people can die. Andy brings many examples that with that people can travel. For example with car or with airplane, with ship or with bus. there are many types of electronic that people can travel but to travel easily people use airplanes. Because airplane is very fast than ships. I give advise to listen this podcast because it is very important to know how to travel.
Hello! I have listened to a podcast called "Ending a Restaurant Meal".And now I want to write about it. This podcast presented a conversation between someone who was in the restaurant and a waitress. This dialogue was about that man and what he did in the restaurant. In this podcast they also wanted to tell what can happen with us in the restaurant. When that man finished his eating the waitress offered tea or coffe, but he didn't want.So he wanted the check. When the waitress brought the check that man asked if he could give money with a card. And the waitress told that he can only give money with "Visa" or "Mastercard".But that person didn't have "Mastercard" or "Visa" and he aslo didn't have enough money with him.He only had "An American Express" card with him.He put his mobile phone on the table and went to take money from his house.Maybe some people would ask why he put his mobile phone on the table and I want to explain. If he didn't put this mobile phone on the table, nobody would let him to go home and to bring money, because they would think he was lying and if he didn't bring money they wouldn't give him his mobile phone. That man was not lying and he brought money and they gave his mobile phone back. It was an interesting podcast and I liked it.I was looking for a podcast like that and I think I have already found it. This podcast had a large vocabulary and I have learnt many new words. For exaple, stuffed(to eat much and then to be foul),to leave room for something(to go somewhere to take or find something),no rush(to say don't hurry). There were so many new words that I can't tell all of them. I will advice my friends and relatives to listen to this podcast, because of good pronounsation, being interesting and because it explains the meanings of the new words.
For those of you who’ve been hiding under a rock for the past month, Skyfall, the latest installment of the James Bond franchise, was recently released in movie theaters worldwide (except China, where fans will torturously have to wait until early 2013 to see the film – ouch). Here’s a fun fact about me: I’m one of the world’s biggest James Bond fans. The action, the locations, the gadgets, the guns, the girls – I love it all. I bought my Skyfall tickets a month in advance so I could attend a sneak preview and see the film 24 hours earlier than everyone else. The weeks leading up to that day were, needless to say, filled with antici…..pation, and when the big day rolled around I could barely contain my excitement. If you haven’t seen the movie, I strongly urge you to do so.
“Okay, SiĆ“n, that’s great and all, but what does any of this have to do with language learning?” Hear me out. Considering all of the buzz about the film lately, and how James Bond is an internationally known figure, I started thinking about how I could tie this iconic character into one of my Livemocha posts. So here it is – my unofficial take on how James Bond would go about learning a language (because we all know there’s no way he’d sit patiently in a classroom and pass up an opportunity to smooth talk an exotic beauty).
Get close to a native speaker
James is fortunate enough to travel all over the world, so his opportunities for language practice are numerous. He realizes that the best way to learn is by socializing with the locals, so he wastes no time in cozying up to a sultry spy to brush up on a little Danish, or sharing a drink with a Russian socialite. While such travel may not be an option for you, who can you get friendly with in your city? Check out some of the language clubs or expat groups for possible connections.
Refine your craft
Whether shooting a pistol, flying an airplane, or speaking a language, one thing is for certain: you don’t become the world’s best secret agent without practice. Besides canoodling with the locals, 007’s frequent flyer status likely affords him a fair amount of downtime to practice those killer lines he’ll use on his next long-legged pursuit. Could you be making better use of your downtime? Instead of playing Angry Birds or scrolling through Facebook (guilty), consider watching a language video, listening to a podcast, or chatting with your Livemocha contacts.
Add a bit of flair .
It was very intersting podcast and i will advice my friend to listen this podcast.
Hello!! I listened another episode called <>.The speaker was speaking about thinking different. What it means?? It means that everybody thinks different and no one think the same. Everybody has got his or her own ideas and everybody is thinking different one is thinking better than the other the other is thinking worse that someone but everybody is thinking different. Thinking is very nice for everybody. It gives you to make a nice decision or to have great or just good ideas. You can tell your friend what did you thought or you can lie down in the bed and think think and even do not sleep you may have such great ideas or you might imagine that you are the best the strongest the most powerful or you are the only person in the world who knows everything. For example I like it very much when you lie down in the bed and think think and think it’s a very nice thing for me. But in some cases there are some people who want thinks togheter for the one topic and they realy do it. They tell each other what they tought in that moment and finally at the end it is staying a great topic or just title. Can you imagine what would be if everybody would thought the same. Everybody is different and also with it everybody thinks very different. Nobody is perfect now and nobody can think very good ideas or be the best by thinking. There are some people who think very well and stay for example an engineer or director for a huge factory and lot of cool and good jobs and things. I also want to say that this podcast was very interesting and very important for me and I think for others too. I learned lots of new information and words yeah they were very hard and a little difficult but however I tried to learn and discover as much good words as I could. I advise my best and loyal friends to look watch and which is the most important to learn and discover new words and information. I am sure that all my friends will love this topic and will be interested in it. Kris Samuel
Hello !!! I have listened to a podcast called "Mice Can Vocally Mimic One Another". The host was speaking about the ability of mice to sing .
Birds sing. And waht's about mice?"Mice song sound" -That’s a mouse song.
Researchers have known about these high-pitched squeaky songs for years. But they only recently discovered that mice can learn the songs of other mice. Such vocal learning is a rarity among animals. We know of only three kinds of birds—parrots, hummingbirds and songbirds—and some mammals—like humans, whales, dolphins, sea lions, bats and elephants—that have demonstrated the ability to learn the vocal patterns of other animals.
Scientists at Duke University observed that when two male mice of different lineages were kept together, the animals gradually learned to match the pitch of their songs to one another. And when the researchers examined the mice, they found that the rodents can also form the correct brain-to-vocal-cord connections to control the sounds they make. The research is published in the journal PLoS ONE.
The Mouse Ultrasonic Song System Has Some Features Similar to Humans and Song-Learning Birds. The mouse songs are admittedly primitive. But the findings left scientists on a high note.
I learnt many new words from this podcast , for example; rodent, pitch , demostration. I would advice my friends to listen to yhis podcast because it is a very interesting and informative podcast . I wish you will like it !! :D :D :D
Hi there!I have listened to a podcast called"Being Forgetful"It was an interesting podcast and had a large vocabulary. This episode was a dialogue between Charlie and Pizzas. They were talking about tomorrow night. They were planning some feast.Pizzas said that she could remind him if he wanted but Charlie said it was etched in his brain but Pizzas interrupted and she said it was slipped his mind last week that they went meeting Donna at the movies . Charlie was preoccupied last week. But Charlie said he wouldn't forget about tomorrow night. Pizzas was reminding Charlie because the week before and that Charlie forgot to cash that check at the bank.Charlie apologize for being just a little wrapped up in work that week that's why he forgot.Pizzas suggested sending an email to jog Charlie's memory for not to forget about the feast, but Charlie refused and said that it wouldn't be necessary he had the day time and even there address committed to memory. Charlie said that he had amnesia and he wouldn't remember any other incident Pizzas wanted to throw in his face and he thought last week Pizzas said you would stop giving him a hard time about his bad memory. But Pizzas didn't remember. And Charlie guessed he wasn't the only one who's scatterbrained. That was the end of the podcast. I said that the podcast had a large vocabulary there were many phrases, words and expressions for example, etched in your brain which means means that you have memorized it,to slip your mind which means to forget something,to be preoccupied which means to be worried about something else, to be thinking about something else,to cash a check which means to go into a bank with a piece of paper called a check give it to the person working at the bank,to be wrapped up which means to be very busy with something to be very involved in a certain task a certain thing that you are doing,to beTo be absent minded which means to be forgetful to be easily distracted,to jog someone's memory which means to remind someone of something to help someone remember something,to show up which means to arrive at a particular place, to throw something in someone's face which means to remind someone of something,to give someone a hard time which means to do or say things,to be scatterbrained is similar to be absent minded. This episode was very interesting and i advice my friends to listen to this podcast. They can learn many new words.phrases and expressions but not only they should know that they must be very attentive.So........everyone can listen.

HELLO I listened another podcast and it was about HOW TO CHOOSE A COMPUTER. The speaker was speaking about computers about its bad and good sides and how to choose the best cheap but nice computerwich will work for a long time I mean for about years. Should I get a Laptop, Desktop or Netbook?
The choice of what type of computer to buy should be based on what you use your computer for and your need for portability.
If you travel often and or want a computer that you can take anywhere, then a laptop is for you. A desktop computer is a good option if you have an office you work out of at home and don't need to take the computer to other locations.
A netbook is a pared-down computer that doesn't have a disk drive or much memory. It is largely meant for surfing the Web, checking email, listening to music and casual computing. The downside of the netbook is that it has a smaller screen and a more cramped keyboard. Keep in mind that a netbook is not a replacement for a laptop or desktop computer but merely a companion to these devices.
Should I Buy a PC or an Apple Computer?
This is a common question that many people ask when shopping for a computer. It's a tough decision, but one that is worth consideration.
PCs tend to be less expensive, while Apple's offerings are decidedly higher in price (the basic MacBook starts at $999). Apple has a different operating system and interface, which may take some time to get used to and learn. Microsoft, which provides the most popular and powerful operating system for PCs, just released a new version of its PC operating system, Windows 7. Windows 7 is a significant improvement from its most recent predecessor, Microsoft Vista, which had serious compatibility issues.
As a user of both PCs and Apple computers, I would advise anyone to choose an Apple computer if it fits in their budget. The operating system is fast, reliable and innovative. If you have an iPhone, the transfer of songs, pictures, email and other data to your computer is seamless. Plus, Mac computers offer Bluetooth wireless and a host of bonus features that make your life easier. And while expensive, Apple computers have been proven to have a longer lifespan than PCs.
That being said, you can still find high-quality PCs that match the capabilities of a Mac. Once you're clear on technical factors and side features, it will be important to weigh each factor based on your plan to use your device.
So I advise my best friends to look this out because it is very interesting and you can learn lots of new words and information. This was a little hard for me but however I tried to learn some new words and information. I knew a lot about computers and how to choose it. Kris Samuel GOOD LUCK !!!!
Hello everyone who is reading my comment. I have listened to a podcast called “Childhood illnesses and diseases". This episode is an always happy topic of childhood illnesses and diseases. We are going to talk about the names of some common illnesses and diseases which children unfortunately sometimes get. This episode is a dialog between Rebecca and Puneet. In podcast they are talking about illnesses and diseases, for example, chicken pox, measles, mumps and other. Rebecca told that this is a recording year for the kids getting sick, especially chicken pox is going around, last year the measles was going around, the year before mumps was going around. We can say that today everywhere is viruses and diseases. When I listened to this podcast I understand that Rebecca was scared of illnesses and diseases. But Puneet explain Rebecca that he work in daycare center and all that you say it is only illnesses and diseases, but dangerous for them who is not considerate and not disciplinarian. When Rebecca understood it they started to talk about illnesses and diseases, but in the other way. Rebecca asked questions to Puneet and Puneet answered. First question is that what happened to simple nosebleeds and earaches. First answer is that a lot of children has strep throat and have croup. He think that it is a way to immunize all of them from every illness and disease out there. Now I don’t want to tell every interesting thing about podcast, because I want that my friends go and listen it themselves. I have learned from it a lot of new words and new. For example, chicken pox is an in faction that is easily shares among children, it is a disease that can give you a fever, a high temperature, and you can be tired and more important it produces small little red spots or marks on your skin. Mumps is an the other disease that causes pain in your salivary glands; it’s the part of your body that produces liquid inside of your mouth, so you often have pain near your ears. Contagious means that it easy for the disease to go from one person to another. Take its toll means that it is have bed effect on something. To immunize means to protect someone getting a disease by ether giving them a shout of a drug. I would advise my friends to listen to the same podcast, because this podcast is very, very interesting. They can learn from this podcast the names of some common illnesses and diseases. You can learn from it how to understand what type of illness or disease that you have. Also you can learn from it a lot of new words and new information about illnesses and diseases. You can listen this podcast in www.eslpod.com !!!!!!!!!!!!
I have listened to a podcast called "Experiencing a Blackout". This podcast is a dialog between George and Inga. This is #847 podcast at eslpod.com. The dialog starts with George saying "What happened?". Inga says that they blowed a fuse, or it's a blackout. They find out that it's a citywide blackout. Inga says that this is not like the rolling blackouts at summer. They light some candles and wait. This is a small podcast, but I learned some new words like power grid. I will try not to try eslpod.com because the podcasts are very short and I can't write a long comment.
I have listened to a podcast called "An Unscrupulous partner". Excuse me for these SHORT comments, but the only normal website is eslpod.com, where the podcasts are SHORT. This podcast is about a man who helped Charles, his friend, with his company. However, he didn't have the hindsight to say "no". He worked in the company as the Co-owner, and everything was going well. But suddenly, out of the blue, Charles turned on him and fired. He said he was crazy, but Charles said he didn't need his services. I would recommend my friends to listen to this podcast, because this podcast has some interesting words. I have learned some words like "Out of the blue" or "Unscrupulous".
Hello everyone!!! Today I listened to a podcast about “Hydropolis”. The episode presents a morning show where Vanessa and Nick are speaking about the latest craze-Hydropolis. According to their dialogue Hydropolis is an underwater hotel which is supposed to be built in Dubai. This is one of the largest construction projects in the world, covering about 260 hectares, as the size of London’s Hyde-Park is. Designer of the hotel is Joachim Hauser. He considers his project so perfect that once said about Hydropolis: “Hydropolis is not a project, it is a passion”. The hotel will be situated 20 meters below the surface of the Persian Gulf, near Jumeirah beach. The land on which Hydropolis will be built belongs to the prince of Dubai. This project seems like fantasy, but the prince believes that it will become real. For building Hydropolis with prince’s support many building companies were formed and financed. And now the project includes more than 150 companies. Hydropolis will include 3 elements: 1. Land station, where guests will be welcomed. 2. Tunnel, which will transport people to the hotel. 3. And the main building with 220 apartments. The building company expects about 3000 guests per day. The designer of the hotel Joachim wants to construct the hotel like human organism. So guests can relax very well, investigate the measureless sea and the human body simultaneously. The main building of the hotel has 2 big halls, one of them for concerts and the other for dance-parties. The first hall's roof can be moved for the special open sky events, so the guests can be admired also with the amazing beauty of the sky. At the end of the show Nick told the most important facts about Hydropolis. The construction of the building costs “not so much”-550 million and for one day’s lodging you need to pay minimum 5500$. So friends choose now- to have an “Armenian” Christmas or to spend one amazing day under the sea. I like this podcast. Listening was pleasant for me. I learned many words: surface, gulf, measureless, simultaneously, lodging, awareness. I would advise this podcast to my friends. Thank you for your attention.
Again hello!!! The second podcast that I listened today is about Oniomania. Listening to the podcast I found out that oniomania is an irresistible desire to buy anything, more commonly referred to as compulsive shopping, shopaholism. For shopaholics shopping become and recreation, and entertainment, and the main purpose of the life. The word oniomania as a medical term was first used in Europe by German psychiatrist about a century ago. Now oniomania increases attention of many scientists, because it is a very spread problem especially in Europe and in the USA. In 2008, in Germany was declared that about 800.000 Germans suffer from shopaholism. In USA 5 in 20 American adults always buy thing which will never use. And what is the most surprising; men suffer from oniomania as much as women. There are some symptoms of oniomania: 1. Over-preoccupation with buying 2. Going to the store without a clear desire to find something specific 3. Passion for fashion magazines 4. Follow to the shop sales every day.
The causes of oniomania can be low levels of self-control, thirst for adrenalin and the illusion of freedom and control over their lives. Oniomania mostly have people who suffer from pathological gambling. Shopaholics always waste their money extremely fast and then regret about it. As a result shopaholism led to the destruction of family, big financial problems and debts. So doctors advise always to be careful, because the shopping, which seems so sinless, can destroy our lives in a very short period.
I like this podcast, because due to it now I know more about the black sides of shopping and I learned some words and expressions; irresistible, referred, compulsive shopping, recreation, pathological gambling, debt, preoccupation. I would advise this podcast to all people who understand English and like shopping very much. And I hope this is the last reflection about podcast that I write. :D Thank you for your attention!!!
Hello everybody!! I listened a podcast called ,MAKE A GOOD DECISION. The presenter Steven Robbins was talking about good and bad decisions, if you make decisions in your life you can make decisions much better and much faster by listening your heart, that is the best way. I f you learn how to listen your heart you will probably make good decisions, so ,how to make a good decision…? There are a lot of people who do everything to make a good decision in their business, and it can be very important. Instead of your shrinking monster, I make great decisions, here's an example, pretend I have a lot of toxic waste and my factory is conveniently located right next to the city's water supply there's a decision, I have to make, what should I do with the waste..!!?? I have a voice in my head that screaming at me to make that decision, it'll cost so much to dispose of that possibility is properly you have to do something with it and dumping it into city's water supplies easy and cheap. Maybe toxic waste has been official health consequences; maybe all new babies will be twice as smart since they're born with two hands. Shrinking monster justifies, explains and gives us all the excuses so that we can do with the wrong thing and still feel self righteous. Fortunately, we had another voice dips wiser, it's the little voice that lives deep inside our little voice knows what we want, knows what's good for us indeed ,often make better decisions it's also little ,most of the time sshrinking monster drowned it out. But, also there is another way, sometimes asking parents ,friends or others is better than think alone and maybe wrong, they can help you and can give good advises or can help you to make a right good decisions. Think about the decision and noticed all of the shrinking months to rent, I'm being treated so unfairly ,everyone's against me, wallet rents put your attention on the middle of your chest, then when treating monsters talk to take a breath quickly ask what do I know..? it was the right decision and just don't want to admit, then sit after a few minutes beneath the monster you'll get a sense of the answer sometimes it's in words or maybe even just a feeling write down what it says especially the stuff that makes you feel empty, don't have to believe what it says you don't have to approve it just write it down, then put it away for a little while and take a break, go do something that satisfies your shrinking monster voice play a violent video games didn't anatomically correct imaging Michael Angelo is David, then review your paper what did your little voice say that was worth listening to. You're separating yourself from the little voice by time and by writing so you can enter new frame of mind before you go back and read. Listening to your intuition helps to make better decisions, for me the answer the little voice gives, is almost all where's the moral thing the ethical thing the loving thing or the compassionate thing. These are the ways to make a right good decision. SSSooo I advise you guys to watch an listen this podcast, I am sure you will like it, cause it is very interesting and you can know a lot of secrets and finally you can make good decisions. I learned a lot of new words really they were a little difficult for me and also the spelling was hard too, but however, I tried and learned as much good words as I could. I think that, you will learn and know a lot of new and good words, thank you guys!! HOPE YOU ENJOY!!!! Kris Samuel Making a good Decision
Hi everyone!!! I want to speak about my favorite sport. And it is football. I like it cause it is cool and a little bit healthy. It is very popular in many countries and everyone majority of people around the world are big fans of football. I think football is a little dangerous because at the game sometimes footballers are felling down and they can broke or injure there parts of body. But football is not so easy game to play by everyone. You should run give pass the ball to the friend and also you should kick the ball. But not only for example I think the most important and the hardest job is the goalkeeper’s and forward’s job. Football has it’s good and bad sides I mean the negative and positive sides. For example football’s negative side is that footballers sometimes at the game get some serious injuries. But it has got some positive sides too. Example it is very healthy and also you run you give pass and sometimes you kick the ball. It is also a big adrenaline for people and footballers. So finally I understood and football is a very good cool and finally healthy sport the majority of people love and play football .It is very popular there are lots of fans and finally for some people it is just fun and football gives a lot of adrenaline. Samuel Krist <> Thank you
I have listened an interesting podcast which name is "Filming a TV show or Movie".

ReplyDeleteHello! :): D
DeleteHello, i have listend a podcast called "What Is the Insanity Defense?"
ReplyDeleteA young man named Jared Lee Loughner allegedly shot and killed 6 people, and wounded 14 others, including a US Congressman, outside a Safeway store in Tucson, Arizona.

ReplyDeleteHELLO !!
ReplyDeleteFor me it was interesting because I like adventures movies,
books and I'm interested in it.
ReplyDeleteListening to this podcast I found out that the idea of creating first Academy awards of The USA belongs to the powerful head of Metro-Goldwyn Mayer Louis Mayer.
ReplyDeleteHello everyone. I have listened to a podcast called "Breaching Computer Security". It was about a company or corporation called McQ which got hacked again. This podcast is a dialog between Jin and Dina: Jin heard the news and was telling Dina about it.
ReplyDeleteMcQ Corp was hacked in the past and now it announced that they updated their security measures.

ReplyDeleteDeborah says that the zoo is the best place for animals.

DeleteMy podcast is about "carnivores (deep thoughts)".
DeleteThe only word I've learned:
Carnivore- flesh-eating.
ReplyDeleteHi everyone! I tried to find and to listen to a podcast where I could find good expressions and information which would be interesting and necessary for me. Now I want to share a podcast called “Different Political Philosophies”. I expected to learn many words and phrases concerning to politics. And my expectations came true.
ReplyDeleteIn this episode Carla being capitalist said that their government should do everything to help people find jobs, but Adam said that Carla spoke like a socialist.
ReplyDeleteIt was a dialogue between Missy and Jonathan.
HELLO,I have listened to a podcast called "GOING TO A BAR"
ReplyDeleteThis is a dialog, ABOUT GOING TO A BAR....
It was a conversation betwin Mykhailo and Amy : they were worked together....
The story began with taht Mykhailo said that he had been complaining to a coworker, Amy, about having to move to the burbs for his job. She said that there were plenty of things to do outside of the city and invited him to a bar she likes.
They met at McQ’s bar... Mykhailo finally came, Amy was waiting for him...
Mykhailo would liked to drink a couple of shots.
Amy surprised because geting a couple of shots is a lot of alcohol and it was in the middel of the week, so she surprised that Mykhailo wanted to drink so much. That was why she said that people who live in the city party hard.
I’ve had a really rough week and I welcome any excuse to let my hair down. That said, I won’t be getting stinking drunk on a school night. Mykhailo said Amy that he liked that place...
Amy said On the weekends, there was a live band or a DJ, although there was also a cover charge on Fridays and Saturdays.....
They had a good time, and disided to go that bar again at Saturday night...
THIS PODCAST WAS A LITTLE INTERESTING....
I MIGHT ADVISE MY FRIENDS TO LISTEN THIS, FOR IMPROVING THEIR ENGLISH...
I HAVE LEARNED MUCH WORDS
ex.: on tap
well drinks
shot
stinking drunk
school night
live band
cover charge
thorough impression
AND E.T.C.....
Then Chris
ReplyDeletestarted to explain her she wants to benefit from cheap labor, but keeps complaining about immigrants.

ReplyDeleteHi everyone i had listened to a podcast named"Times of days".It was a dioulog between Adam and Rob.The meaning of this podcast was about time of days like morning, afternoon, night.Character was telling that how it is fun to read books, watch television, play computer at night. And it said that it is more fun when everybody were sleeping in your house. At morning it is more fun when people were getting up early with the song of birds and than they ere drinking cup of coffee and felling better.
ReplyDeleteI think that in this podcast there were many difficult words to learn because it had a big vocubalary to learn. And also there were many new phrases and new information.I advise my friends to listen to a same podcast from www.learnenglish.britishcouncil.org.Thankyou for you reading.:)
ReplyDeleteBack in 2005, Arian Dyer at Monash University showed that bees could identify people who they associated who with sugary snacks. But could they recognize humans, or did they just see them as weird flowers?
Martin Giurfa at France’s UniversitĆ© de Toulouse contacted Dyer to work on that question. First, they drew simple images of facial features—dots for eyes, slashes for nose and mouth. The bees were trained to distinguish between an image with narrower features and one with wider ones.
I enlarge my vocabulary.I learnt many new words,for exaple:dot,slash,distinguish.
I'd advise my friends to listen to this podcast because it's a very interesting podcast. I think you will like it!!! :D :D :D

ReplyDeleteHi everyone i had listened a podcast named The truth about whole grains. September is whole grains months a monthlong celebration of the virtues of hold green foods. This annual event is brought to buy the whole grains council a nonprofit organization who are quote working to increase consumption of whole grain support better health and quote. Number one whole grain food are not that much slower in calories.A slice of one hundred percent whole wheat bread has approximately the same number of calories as a piece of white bread for example a couple of brown rice actually has a few more calories than a couple of white rice i.

ReplyDeleteHello!!!!! My name is Veronika.I have listened to a podcast called "Doing basic exercises".This episode is a dialog between Jane and Arnold. In this podcast they talk about physical exercises for your body. They talk about different exercises.Arnold told that every morning he did sit-ups,push-ups and pull-ups.They talk about cardio workout too. I have learned a lot of new words, new phrases and new information. For example, "calisthenics"-is like gymnasium a Greek word just that you can do different things with your body, move your body, "sit-up" -is an exercise when you put your head on underground you put your hands ether behind your head
and that you sit up for that position ether with your knees up your legs up or your body flat, "push-up" -is an exercise where you are lying on underground, but you are lying on your stomach this time with your face forward than you put your two hands flat or the floor and you raze your body up, "to be in shape" - be physical in good conditional," lunge" -is an exercise that is done by standing with your two legs apart one in front of the other and than you band one knee or you walk forward banding your knees that you go far down,"lift in ways" going and taking very heavy object and moving them up in down with your arms or legs," cardio workout"- one riding a bike walking quickly that you be more faster",jumping jack"-is where you stay with your two feet together and than you jump up and put your two fit at the distance from each other you take your two arms and you raze them above your head of in clopping your hands above your head and you do it quickly,"run in place "- not to move ," see the light" - to understand something we use it usually in life and with serious ways, "you got that right" -you are absolutely right.
I would advise my friends to listen to the same podcast because you see that how many words, how many phrases and how many new information you can learn. If you go and listen to the same podcast, you won't regret!!! :))))
DeleteThe words I've learned:
realization- accomplishment
neglect-disregard
I advice my friends to listen to this podcast.

ReplyDeleteMy podcast's name is "Money (deep thoughts)".
DeleteI advice my friends to listen to this podcast.
Hello, I’m Ruben. I chose this podcast because I think that it’s useful to know what we eat. The podcast is about types of sandwiches.
ReplyDeleteIf you are hungry and you have no time to make your food yourself you can go and eat sandwiches in the fast food restaurants, but if it’s late or early and the restaurants are closed you can make sandwiches yourself.
ReplyDeleteThis podcast is a dialogue between Spiro and Nancy.

ReplyDeleteThis podcast was very interesting for me and I am sure that it also became interesting for the others who would listen to that.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all I would like to mention that beer is one of the world’s oldest prepared beverages.
Also there are many new words that I learned from this podcast:
Beverage-something for drinking (such as whisky or liquor)
Abode – a place to stay, habitation
Monks-religious people who live in monasteries
Excessive-much more than is needed
Consumption-use (for ex. The consumption of water is useful for human organism. )
This podcast I would advice my friends also, especially boys, because it will be interesting for them more then for girls. Thank you for your attention!!!
Hello my dear friends!!! Today I listened to a podcast called “The Empire State Building”. The episode presents a broadcast in which Vanessa, Alexander and Lisa begin to talk about The Empire State Building in the middle of a live show in a radio studio.
ReplyDeleteNow I will share with the information that I got listening to this podcast.
And one more thing: my dear friends if you want to own The Empire State Building do not defer, just get a ticket to the USA, sell Armenia for getting 1 billion dollar and buy it , it is so easy…
I finally finished presenting the podcast that I listened. In conclusion, it is interesting podcast; I get a lot of useful information about The Empire State Building. It was not hard to understand the meaning of the podcast because broadcasters spoke very clear. I learned some new words and expressions, such as
To abrogate-which means to cancel (for ex. The court hearing was abrogated.)
Primarily-first of all, above all
To moor- to fix ships in its place by rope or anchor
Zeppelin-airship
Contemporaneously - at the same time
Derive means receive, obtain
Accommodate means contain
Illuminate (when the lights are turned on/ for ex. The room was illuminated by lamp)
To give some more insight into its history- to give much more important, deep information
I like this podcast and I think I did not waste my time in vain listening to it. That is why I would advice my friends to listen to this podcast too.
Hi everyone! At first I did'nt find any interesting podcast but finally I have found.I have listened to a podcast called "Breaking the Rules of Parenting"A woman was talking about parents. ReplyDeleteHi everyone(again)!I have listened to a podcast called"Tips for a fun and safe Halloween"Everyone choose some dresses for Halloween and usually scary dresses for example,Vampires,witches,monsters,devils... and there are kind characters for example,angels,bunnies...Though the origin of the word Halloween is Christian, the holiday is commonly thought to have pagan roots.
ReplyDeleteHi everyone i had listened to a podcast named "Scary Monster".It was a dialog between Tess and Ravi again. It was interesting about me because it was about a lake where maybe is living a monster called Nessi.Characters told that some people said that one man had seen a monster in 1933 but it wasn't clear information.
ReplyDeleteIt's a good place for tourists to go to the north of Scotland and see the lake.It told that some people went there to find the monster but nobody couldn't do that.
ReplyDeleteHello everyone who is reading my comment.I have listened to a podcast called "Writing a story".This episode is a dialog between Xavier and Sara.
ReplyDeleteI think that this podcast can be more interesting if my friends go and listen it thyself.
I have learned from it a lot of new words, new phrases and new information. For example, "abandoned"- to give up on something
completely, "plot"-is the main events in a novel, play or movie with my collet the main story line,"up in the air"-means it's undecided it's not sure,"got your work cut out for you"-means to be required the complete something that is going to be very difficult like you have a very difficult problem to solve,"inspiration"-is something that acute to you that simulate your mind to do or to feel something like to create peoples for example, artists, painters and other.
ReplyDeleteThe podcast as I said, which I have listened named “Driving while calling & Texting”, is between Pamela and Josh who are calling and testing and also doing things when they shouldn’t been doing.
ReplyDeleteHello!!! I've listened to a podcast called "Take a Virtual Moonwalk for Science". The host was speaking about a chance that we can virtually walk on the moon .
ReplyDeleteTwelve men have walked on the moon.
Hello!!!
ReplyDeleteI listened an episode called <>, speaker was speaking about these verbs ,and also about people or students who are doing lots of mistakes with it.

Then she purposed to practice with the guy and asked:
ReplyDelete-Could you?
The guy answered:
-No, I must go somewhere.
ReplyDeleteTony has gotten a new pet dog.
Tony was going to feed him a few treats and gave him some water in his bowl.
And then, she was going to take him for a walk.
Magda was wondered if she is going to do that all.
Tony answered that it is important to keep pets healthy and happy. She is going to groom him later. she should not wanted him to get fleas or ticks. Maybe she should taked him to see the vet for a checkup.
Hello everyone who is reading my podcast!!!!!!!!!!!! I have listened to a podcast called "Believing in scary things".This episode is a dialog between Ella and Jimmy. It's related to Halloween and uses a lot of vocabulary related to scary things. When i listen this dialog,I understood, that Ella wasn't like Halloween and she scared of Halloween. She told that she can't went out that night, because usually at nights in Halloween everywhere evils, vampires and other scary and terrible things.Jimmy did everything to help Ella and persuade Ella came to Halloween tonight. But nothing, she won't to went out tonight. When Jimmy understood, that he can't did something to persuade Ella,he decided to went home. When he opened the door,Ella said that hurry close the door, there is a cat.She asked to Jimmy If you walk out that door, the next time I see you, it might be in a graveyard. Some minutes later Jimmy understood that Ella is mad.Jimmy said ugh and went out.
ReplyDeleteI think that podcast can be more interesting if my all friends who can read this podcast go and listen it thyself. It can helps them to understand all ideas which in podcast.
I have learned from it a lot of new words, new phrases and new information. For example, "lurk"-means to be somewhere, but to be hiding,"creepy"-means scary, but also uncomfortable something that makes you uneasy, "scared stiff"-means to be very frighten,to be very scary,"goosebumps "-are little small bumps or razed arias on your skin that are caused by ether cold temperatures, some people said they can be caused by fear,"gullible"-means to be easily treat or the saved to believe everything
that you're told.
I would advise my friends to listen to the same podcast, because this podcast is a dialog Halloween and it can be interesting, because i think that every child like Halloween, because it is funny holiday.Usually they can learn from it a lot of new words, new phrases and new information. You can listen this podcast in www.eslpod.com !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hello everyone! I have listened to a podcast called "Being a Strict Parent".I wanted to find something like that, because other kinds of podcast are usually boring, but somethimes they are interesting, too.I have listened to many podcast before writting about this, but this podcast was the best for me.
ReplyDeleteThis podcast was a dialogue between an old woman and his friend or someone else.
ReplyDeleteAs we know there are many animals and birds on the Earth which are disappearing nowadays.

ReplyDeleteHello, my text is about “Your Hired!
DeleteThe only word I've learned:
value- price
I advice my friends to listen to this podcast.

ReplyDeleteLivemocha courses teach American English, though you can learn other dialects from members of the Livemocha community.
ReplyDeleteBut one July evening Yosemite ranger Matt Holly popped something different onto his projector screen: "Yosemite's climate: Past…and Future?"
"It's a great time to reach people, when they're emotionally raw and ready to do something."
I learnt many new words , for example ; rotation ,debunk ,to flinch, controversy . I would advice my friends to listen to the same episode because I think that it's a very actual theme and all of us will think about how to solve this big envoirmental problem!!!
Hello!!!
ReplyDeleteI listened an episode called <>.
Nice and loyal friends can be a very good present for you ,such friends may give you some good and very important advises, such friend could be the best after your parents, you can do lots of cool and interesting things with each other, you can share some individual secrets too.
I wanna say that, I learned some things from my friends, useful ones, though not too much but enough, I learned and discovered some words which where a little strange for me or hard to understand.
I want to advise my friends to look or watch this broadcast, because this is very useful for all of us, and I think that, this topic is one of the most important ones that should be considered, it gave us good advises about friends and friendship.

ReplyDeleteHi everyone.
ReplyDeleteI have listened to a podcast called "CAFE LIVING".
THE WORDS WHICH I DID NOT KNOWN:
HANG-OUT - a place where you spend time
BUSTLING - to be very busy
RUSH HOUR - that time when people go to wark, or come back
To KILL TIME - to spend time
TO HOLD - do not add
SCREENWRITER - a person who writes a text of a movie or a TV program
OUR-OF-WORK - someone who doesnt have a job
WANNABES - someone who wants to be something, but is not...

ReplyDeleteI will tell about what to do during the interview.
DeleteI advice my friends to listen to this podcast.
Hello, my name is Ruben. I listened a dialogue between two friend Bob and Andy. They were talking about trips. They discussed about what type of trip is the best.
ReplyDeleteThere are many types of trip.
ReplyDeleteThis podcast presented a conversation between someone who was in the restaurant and a waitress.
ReplyDelete“Okay, SiĆ“n, that’s great and all, but what does any of this have to do with language learning?” Hear me out.
Add a bit of flair
.
It was very intersting podcast and i will advice my friend to listen this podcast.
Hello!!
ReplyDeleteI listened another episode called <>.The speaker was speaking about thinking different.

ReplyDeleteThe host was speaking about the ability of mice to sing .
I would advice my friends to listen to yhis podcast because it is a very interesting and
informative podcast . I wish you will like it !! :D :D :D
Hi there!I have listened to a podcast called"Being Forgetful"It was an interesting podcast and had a large vocabulary. This episode was a dialogue between Charlie and Pizzas.
ReplyDeleteThey were talking about tomorrow night.

HELLO
ReplyDeleteI listened another podcast and it was about HOW TO CHOOSE A COMPUTER.
ReplyDeleteI have learned from it a lot of new words and new.

ReplyDeleteI have listened to a podcast called "Experiencing a Blackout". This podcast is a dialog between George and Inga. This is #847 podcast at eslpod.com.
ReplyDeleteThe dialog starts with George saying "What happened?". Inga says that they blowed a fuse, or it's a blackout. They find out that it's a citywide blackout. Inga says that this is not like the rolling blackouts at summer. They light some candles and wait.
This is a small podcast, but I learned some new words like power grid. I will try not to try eslpod.com because the podcasts are very short and I can't write a long comment.
use eslpod.com*
DeleteI have listened to a podcast called "An Unscrupulous partner". Excuse me for these SHORT comments, but the only normal website is eslpod.com, where the podcasts are SHORT.
ReplyDeleteThis podcast is about a man who helped Charles, his friend, with his company.
ReplyDeleteThe hotel will be situated 20 meters below the surface of the Persian Gulf, near Jumeirah beach. The land on which Hydropolis will be built belongs to the prince of Dubai. This project seems like fantasy, but the prince believes that it will become real. For building Hydropolis with prince’s support many building companies were formed and financed. And now the project includes more than 150 companies.
Hydropolis will include 3 elements:
ReplyDeleteThe word oniomania as a medical term was first used in Europe by German psychiatrist about a century ago.
There are some symptoms of oniomania:
1. Over-preoccupation with buying
2. Going to the store without a clear desire to find something specific
3. Passion for fashion magazines
ReplyDeleteI listened a podcast called ,MAKE A GOOD DECISION.
ReplyDeleteI want to speak about my favorite sport.
