  1. Hello my friends I am very excited that we met again, as the first writer I want to congratulate you and wish patience in our work, and may your ideas be creative, innovative, inventive.
Today I have listened to an interesting podcast and now I want to present you that. This episode called “Donating blood”, a dialogue between Michelle and Gabriel all about donating blood. The dialogue starts when Michelle sees a bandage on Gabriel’s arm. Gabriel said that he donated blood that day, and he does it all the time. It was great for Michelle, because when she comes close to a needle, she feels light-headed, and she is afraid if they draw blood from her. Actually it is very important for hospitals to have a good supply of blood for use transfusions. It’s also a big deal, because if relief organizations have not blood when they traveled to disaster areas, they could not help the injured people there. This all was Michelle’s speech, she though that Gabriel is very generous and good man. But at the end Gabriel said, there’s a particularly pretty nurse who works in the bloodmobile, and he goes there always for that nurse.
In that podcast was interesting for me Michelle’s and Gabriel’s speech and at the end a little bit laughing. From this episode I have learnt many unknown words and some interesting expressions for me. For example the word needle which is the synonym of the word injector, also the expression “to go through with something”, which means to do something that is perhaps difficult or even a little dangerous, but you go ahead it doing anyway.
I would like to advise everyone who knows English to listen to this very interesting and teaching podcast, because from this you will discover many unknown things for you, and you’ll develop your own English vocabulary.
Thank you for reading my comment.

  2. HELLO EVERYONE) BEFORE I WILL START,I WANT TO WISH US TO HAVE A GOOD LUCK IN OUR WORK AND ENJOY IT... :)
I HAVE LISTEND A PODCAST CALLED "FINDING A HOUSE TO BUY". And now i am going to tell you about this podcast )))

A man is looking to buy a house and he want a single-family home.
He has been living in a townhouse for two years and he tired of having common walls and very small yards. He wanted that his new house had a lot more square footage, a large lot size, an open floor plan, great curb appeal, and lots of upgrades.
His agent has been showing him fixer-uppers, while he want a home that's in move-in condition. The problem was, he can’t afford a high mortgage. He is not holding out for a mansion, but he wanted that new house to be a step up from his townhouse.
His real estate agent told him that he has to adjust his expectations.
He asked him, “Do you mean I can’t have the house I want?”
He said, “Of course you can. All you have to do is move to Alaska!”
Podcast was interesting,,, more that moment when he describe what kind of house he wants -a lot more square footage, a large lot size, an open floor plan, great curb appeal, and lots of upgrades... :)))

AND NOW THAT WORDS WHICH I HAVE LEARND:

SINGLE-FAMILY - It is a single house where there are no other families or rentals on site. Usually with both a front and back yard, driveway, and attached carport or garage.
TOWNHOUSE - Is a type of medium-density housing in cities, usually but not necessarily terraced or semi-detached. A modern town house is often one with a small footprint on multiple floors.
FIXER-UPPER - a house or other dwelling in need of repair.
MOVE-IN CONDITION - Is a property that is completely ready for occupancy.
HOLD OUT FOR SOMETHING - to not accept an offer because you want a better one.
MANSION - a large house, especially a beautiful one.
EXPECTATION - the belief that something will happen

  3. Hello everyone!!!!! I have listened to a podcast called “Planning a children’s party”. This episode is a dialog between Sara and Paul, who are planning, who are getting for a party for some children. In this dialog they are talking about how to plan a party. Sara think that it will be more successful and more funny if in party will be a clown, balloons, cake, party hats, streamers, noisemakers and other things. She wants that party, which is her favorite and lovely holiday, be very beautiful and funny. But Paul is like ancient people. You know what he said? If you not I will tell you!!! He told that everything like balloons, cake, party hats, and other things isn’t necessary, because he don’t like all that. When Sara said that at party will be confetti and ice cream, Paul cry at Sara then continue, that if in party will be some confetti and ice cream, a house will be very dirty, but Sara told that she will clean up a house. Paul doesn’t know what saying and go without saying any words.
I have learned from it some words, some phrases. For example, to “pull out all the stops”- means you’re going to do everything you possibly can, “party favors”- are little gifts that you give it at party, “goodie bags”- are little bags kind of like party favors that have little gifts for the people who come to party especially at children’s party, “inflatable castle”- is something that you use to only find a big celebration, fain in you community, inflatable castle is a large plastic culture, the children can go inside of this plastic thing.
I would advise my friends to listening to this podcast, because this podcast is very interesting and funny podcast. Also you can learn a lot of new words, new phrases and new information about how to plan a party for everyone. You can listen to this podcast at www.eslpod.com !!!!!

  5. Hey guys!!!I have listened to a podcast called "British traditions".This episode is a dialogue between Jessica and Mike. They were talking about traditions.Jessica told Mike about her country's traditions and said that to know a country we should know its traditions and that greeting cards are one of them.Greeting cards are very popular in Britain.Mike also added that the most common kinds of greeting cards are birthday cards, congratulations cards, sympathy cards,get-well cards and special occasion cards.Jessica explained the details of greeting cards and I want you to know that.
Birthday cards. There are special family birthday cards for mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers. There are cards which are special for friends, teachers and for other people.
Congratulations cards.these greeting cards are used for the birth of a baby,a wedding or an anniversary.Jessica added that Mike can buy a congratulations card for a person who gets a new house or a new job.
Sympathy cards are sent when someone dies. The sympathy card means"I am sorry".
Get-well cards. If a friend is sick,at home or in hospital Mike or everybody can sent a get-well card.A get-well card means "I hope you will feel better soon".
Special occasion cards are sent to family and friends on some of the special days for example on Christmas,Valentine's day,Easter,Mother's day,Father's day,Hallowe'en.
Mike told Jessica about traditions, too.British nation is considered to be the most conservative in Europe.Every nation and every country has its own customs and traditions. In Great Britain people attach greater importance to traditions and customs than in other European countries. Englishmen are proud of their traditions and carefully keep them up. The best examples are their queen, money system, their weights and measures.
There are many customs and some of them are very old. There is, for example, the Marble Championship, where the British Champion is crowned; he wins a silver cup known among folk dancers as Morris Dancing. Morris Dancing is an event where people, worn in beautiful clothes with ribbons and bells, dance with handkerchiefs or big sticks in their hands, while traditional music- sounds.
Another example is the Boat Race, which takes place on the river Thames, often on Easter Sunday. A boat with a team from Oxford University and one with a team from Cambridge University hold a race.
British people think that the Grand National horse race is the most exciting horse race in the world. It takes place near Liverpool every year. Sometimes it happens the same day as the Boat Race takes place, sometimes a week later. Amateur riders as well as professional jockeys can participate. It is a very famous event.Mike told more about traditions...
There were not many words in this podcast but here is that new words from this podcast.attach which means reinforce, prove which means demonstrate, fortune which means richness,Feat which means artifice, craft, bless which means sanctified or blissful or joyful, precious which means valuable or sumptuous or golden.
I advise my friends to listen to this podcast. It was very interesting and teaching podcast. You can know more information about British traditions and customs and also about greeting cards. This is very useful for everyone to know and have knowledge about it. I can say that it hasn't got large vocabulary but it was very interesting.
I have listened to this podcast from www.youtube.com and I want to say that from now on I will listen to any of my prefered podcasts from youtube!!!

  6. I couldn't find a normal podcast with normal length, so I am going to present you 2 episodes from eslpod.com.
The first episode is called "Reading online reviews", which is number 801 podcast on EslPod. This is a dialogue between Marisa and Oscar, thinking about which hotel to spend the next vacation at. Marisa suggests to stay at another hotel, because they've stayed at a single hotel year after year and there's no novelty there anymore. Oscar says that this hotel is in a convenient location and they are familiar with it. Besides, he says he doesn't need any novelty. Marisa then asks to browse some other hotels on the internet. She finds some which got good ratings and pros, but Oscar says they also got some cons. Marisa says that she will find a hotel that everyone loves.
The other podcast is called "Limiting free speech", number 863. This one is a dialog between Toshi and Celeste. The dialog is started by Toshi saying "You can't go outside looking like that! What are you thinking?".Celeste says that she put these painted clothes on to protest the treatment of women: she exercises her right of free speech. Toshi says that she is crazy if she thinks people will take her seriously. He says that what is painted on her body is hate speech. She says that it's her human right to a freedom of expression, and suggests Toshi that he can protest against her, adding that it's his inalienable right.
I suggest you listen to these podcasts to learn some new words like obscenity and break the bank.

  8. Hello! I have listened to a podcast called "The weather podcast".
It was a dialogue between Mike and Mary. They were discussing about weather and what to wear when the weather is sunny or rainy.Mary told that if there wasn't the weather forecast the farmers would lose their harvest or they would get wet if the weather was rainy and they didn't wear a coat.Mike asked how the weathermen got that information and Mary answered that they work all day and night, they collect information from space stations and weather stations.Mike asked if people believed them and Mary told that weathermen tell only the truth and everyone believes them.Mary asked if there was another way to learn about weather and Mike answeres that barometer is made for that and if it shows high pressure it means that the weather is calm.
I wanted to find a podcast like this, because I don't like podcast that do not give any information. It was very interesting and I liked it.
It was a difficult podcast and I have learned some new words. For example, harvest (fruit and vegetable grown by farmers),misty weather (cloudy weather),weathermen (a person who tells what the weather will be like) and many other words.
It was very interesting podcast and I liked it very much. The spelling was very good and it wasn't very difficult and that's why I will advice all my friends and relatives to listen to the same podcast.

  9. Hello my dear friends!!
We love our smart phones and tablets - a lot. But the next time you take your phone to lunch, hand it to a coworker to share photos, or bring it to the gym, consider this: Bacteria from a phone can cause flu, pinkeye or diarrhea. Yuck. And people are just as likely to get sick from their phones as from handles of the bathroom. That's according to a physician interviewed by the Wall Street Journal about the hazards of taking your cell phone everywhere - and then passing it to friends to share an image or message. You don't have to be a germophobe to dread that bit of news. A lab tested eight randomly selected phones from a Chicago office and all phones showed abnormally high numbers of coliforms, a bacteria that indicates fecal contamination. Of the eight phones tested, there were between about 2,700 and 4,200 units of coliform bacteria. In drinking water, the limit is less than 1 unit per 100 ml of water.I learned many new words.Thank tou for your reading.

  10. Hello everyone! Today I am going to write about a podcast called "Christmas Traditions"...
This podcast is a dialogue between Nick and Samantha.Nick told that he loves Christmas very much and he things that it is the best holiday for children.Samantha agreed with Nick and added that she knew some traditiond related to Christmas. She told that her it was her mother's favourite holiday, too and that's why she knew so many things about Christmas traditions. They both told what they knew. Then Nick started to tell about the history of Christmas and when people started to congretulate each other on the Christmas day.Samantha didn't about the history and it was very interesting for her.She listned attentively, because she wanted to learn a lot about her favourite holiday and to tell her friends and relatives. She was surprised, because she had never listened about the history of Christmas and she had never thought that Christmas has its history and traditions. She continued Nick and she started to tell about traditions. She told what people must eat, what they must or mustn't do.It was interesting information.Nick had never listened about it.So they both went home with a new and interesting information.
It was not very interesting, but it wasn't very boring, too.I think I could find more interesting podcast, but it was nor very bad.
If I say that I didn't like it very much,it doesn't mean that there were no any new or difficult word or expression.I have found some new words, for example, unexceptionable (absolutely),sentiment (sense),intercommunicate (communicate),ornament (decorate),sling (drop),medley (to mix) and many other words.
To conclute my blogging I want to add that it was not very interesting podcast and that's why I don't want to advise my friends to listen to this podcast, because I think they can find another podcast, which will be more interesting than this...

  11. Hello. My podcast’s name is “GID delegate your misery”. A man, whose name is Stephen has to do quarterly taxes off today and he doesn’t have time to do it. Well Stephen reply isn't it tragic it seems as if there's always stuff to do with it isn't fun and that's true they're always his as long as you let it be that way. You're falling into a common productivity trap spending your time on stuff you don't enjoy or that you aren't good at. If you don't enjoy something such as doing your taxes you won't wake up saying the world is a beautiful place the sun is shining, what a great day to do taxes. Instead you'll put them off to the last minute. We have this wonderful theory, it says if you want to succeed work to overcome your weaknesses that doesn't cut it. It turns out that most successful people concentrate on their strengths and passions and they do everything possible to delegate their weaknesses to someone else. You care of someone who loves organizing with a creative scattered. Stephen doesn’t do details type of person and they'll do far more that if the scattered person tried to develop his or her own organizing skills. Trust Stephen, he speaks from experience on this one. Do you hate filing. Take out a craig’s list that and hire a local student for a couple of hours each week that's what Stephen’s doing and in fact there's so many colleges near his apartment that Stephen is hiring and assistance to prepare and close the job descriptions for the students job board yes his that lazy. And if you work in a corporation don't think you can't do this too for some reason employees seem to think if they can't hire help it isn't provided by the company you can you can hire virtual assistant who can give you admin support that you're cost too cheap to provide. You pay eight hourly and it's so much nicer to pay as a forty dollars than to waste today each month filling out your expense report. Of course your company may have policies against out searching work related to the company so do double check with your boss before you try this at home. So ask yourself what do you do that you're not good at or don't enjoy.
    The whole text was interesting.
I advice friends to listen to this podcast.

Danial advised Mario to buy a car from dealerships, because there cars are used and at the same time in a good situation. Danial also brings an example about his sister, who bought a car from dealerships and she got a one-year warranty. Mario said that in dealerships the prices of car are high and buying from a private party means getting a better deal. Then Danial wants to know how much the car which he liked costs because private party can give that car to you from a high price than it costs.

    1. Hello!!!I have listened to a podcast called "You're so Psychic, Bet You Know This Podcast is About You" . .When I read the name of the podcast I got interested in it . "What ?? About me ?? It is worth reading" -I thought .The host was introducing two Harvard psychologists who use neurovisualization to provide that extrasensory perception (ESP) does not exist. It would be find to predict future , to know what other people think . I think all of you wish to have such a chance!!! I would like to have that extrasensory perception . Two Harvard psychologists have published the the test results of ESP in Journal of Cognitive Neuroscience. They say if ESP exists our brain would react differently to the tasks given by ESP and to the tasks which are not given by ESP. The psychologists studied three kinds of ESP: telepathy, clairvoyance and precognition. Telepathic stimuli were photos shown to the both things and their close partners.Clairvoyant stimuli were presented on a computer in different rooms . Precognitive stimuli were shown to objects lately . Images seen through the ESP should motivate suppressed brain pictures as the brain reacts differently to irritants seen before, than it does to new incentives. Researchers found no difference in the brain pattern between ESP and without ESP stimulis. So the results show that ESP doesn't exist .But the host says and hopes that ESP exists but cause the results was null it only makes weaker the possibility that ESP exists. Me too , I hope that ESP exists somewhere.
I learnt many new words from this podcast, for example: neurovisualization ,clairvoyant, stimuli. I would strongly recommend my friends to listen to this podcast because it's not waste of time , it's a very interesting scientific podcast and you will learn many new words.I think you will like it.

  14. Hello everyone, who is reading now my comment!!
I want to present you a podcast that I have listened. This is an episode called "Experiencing a blackout". It is a dialogue between George and Inga: about what happens when you don't have any electrical power. This is a very acquaint situation that happens usually in Armenia too. George and Inga are spouse who were surprised when the lights went out. They started to think many reasons of that. For example they started to believe that it could be a blackout or maybe they blew a fuse. Then this spouse saw that it's not only in their house, it was in the whole city. George begin wondering if it is a grid or a citywide blackout. After that Inga and George remembered when a blackout like that was on the last summer, when they were passing their hours of darkness.
In other words that was a real discussion between a spouse living in one of the lest cities of United States related to a blackout, which wasn't in only their house, but in the whole city.
And at the end of the dialogue Inga and George suggested there is no reason to waste a perfectly good blackout.
This podcast, which was presenting a dialogue related to blackout, was one of the most interesting dialogues that I have listened in a site called "Eslpod.com". This dialogue was very interesting for me, because there speakers were expressing many fascinating ideas and expressions using in that case of the life. Also I have learnt many unknown words and some information referring to the blackouts. One of the unknown words for me was just "blackout" , which is an issue that happens when in an area loses electrical power. I have also known that in each country is a power grid, which is a network of power companies and users of the electricity that are connected together.
I would like to advise everybody who has not already listened to this podcast to listen the same episode for rich their own English vocabulary and knowledge.
Than you for reading my comment! :)

  15. Hello everyone!!! I have listened to a podcast called “Translating a document”. This episode is a dialogue between Francine and Aziz, about taking some documents, something that is been written, and translating it into another language. In this episode Francine must translated one document into Mcquish, because her employer told her, that she must trying to translated a document into Mcquish and now she need some help. She asked Aziz for help, but Aziz told that he can’t help her, because he didn’t know Mcqush. Aziz said that she can found translations of words in Mcquish-English bilingual. But Francine said that it so hard. Aziz asked to Francine that she can’t just paraphrase and convey the general meaning by using a lot of loan words and cognates. But she told that it’s turning out the way it’s supposed to. Moreover Aziz couldn’t help her, because he knows only English which is gibberish!!!
From this podcast I have learned some information. For example, I learned that people must know many languages because it very useful in our life and in job too. There was one Armenian saying “As many languages you know, as man you’re”. I have learned a lot of new words and new phrases too. For example, “ Mcquish”- is a very weird language it’s not spoken by more than 100 people, so you probably never heard that, “partnership”- is usually when two people decide to work together in business, “thesaurus”- is a book that list of groups of similar words , words that have a similar meaning, “ to be slow going”- means to be making very slow progress, “bilingual”- is someone who speaks two languages, “bi”- is a prefix which means two, so bilingual means two languages, “to paraphrase”- means to express a some idea , but use in different words, “to convey”- means to express on share information, “a loan word”- is a word that you borrow it from another language, “cognate”- is a word that is similar to a word in another language, “to interpret”- means to translate while you are speaking, “to be in hot seat”- means to be in a difficult situation, a situation that will give you a lot of problems, “to be spared”- means that you don’t have to experience something usually something bad, “gibberish”- are words that don’t have any meanings, the words that nonsense.
To conclude, I would advise my friends to listen to the same podcast, because they can learn from it how to translate a document. Usually they can learn from it a lot of new words and new phrases too. You can listen to this podcast in www.eslpod.com !!!

  16. Hi!!! I have listened a intersting podcast about American National football.Just in time for spoiling only part of the current football season, the real referees are coming back. "Rejoice, NFL fans," says Deadspin. "After 48 regular season games that nearly brought the National Football League to its knees and turned the league's officiating into a recurring national joke, the NFL and the referees union have agreed to a new eight-year deal and the officials will be back on the job." Things were getting hairy, and the episode provides an abject lesson in when it's ok (and not) to accept substitutes. The inexperienced fill-in refs made mistakes early and often. Says Deadline Hollywood: "The officiating farce became a fiasco during Monday night's game between Seattle and Green Bay when 2 replacement refs standing side-by-side made opposite calls resulting in a Seattle win on a questionable touchdown." Daily Kos adds: "All it took was scab officiating that actually deteriorated to the point where a Las Vegas casino offered refunds on bets on Monday night's game." Talk about piling on. The recurring national joke part was handled ably by Jon Stewart, who noted that the labor dispute getting Americans upset "was not the Chicago teachers' strike. And not the riots at the Foxconn factory in China" but the football thing, as Mediaite reports. Jon and his non-brother Patrick Stewart did a sketch where Patrick pretended to be a sub for cast member John Oliver as the "senior replacement correspondent." Thank you for reading!!!!!

  17. Hey guys!I have listened to a podcast called"Hallowe'en Party".The podcast was interesting. It was a dialogue between Olga and Alice. At first Alice give some information about Hallowe'en.She told that traditional games on Hallloe'en Night are usually difficult such as trying to get an apple from a bucket of water without using hands or trying to find a coin in a bowl full of flour.
On New Year's Eve,people traditionally take a shower in the fountains in Trafalgar Square.
The Christmas tree which is put in Trafalgar Square for Christmas is always a present from Norway.
On Christmas day the Queen gives her traditional Christmas speech to the UK and the Commonwealth on television.
At Easter time, the British often give each other chocolate Easter eggs, which are opened and eaten on Easter Sunday.
Olga didn't know much about Hallowe'en because she is Russia and they didn't have this holiday there. But Alie was sure that Olga would enjoy it.She also told that such parties are usually great fun and people dress up in strange costumes and pretend they are ghosts and witches. But Olga was not sure that she would enjoy it and love this holiday.Alice explained her and said that they will play games and dance and laugh a lot. When the party is over, they will put on white sheets and knock on their neighbours' doors asking if they would like a "trick" or "treat".And if they give them a treat-some sweets, nuts or cakes-they will say "thank you" and go away. But if the neighbours don't give themm sweets and cakes they will play a trick on them. They will make a lot of noise and throw flour on their front doorstep.Alice also asked if Olga could help her to get ready for the party. At first they should decorate the house. They will cut an ugly face ina pumpkin and put a candle inside. It will shine through the eye holes. Then they will take the pumpkin to the party to decorate the hall.Olga was amazed and she said she had already enjoyed the holiday and she shad she really grudge that Russia hasn't got such fun holiday as Hallowe'en.and in the end Alice promised to take her to see Guy Fawkes Night on the 5th of November.
The podcast was very interesting I have already knew much information about Hallowe'en.I regret that Armenia hasn't got such holiday as Hallowe'en.I learned few words but useful words from this episode the words are bowl which means cup, beaker, goblet, pot, mug.Grudge which means to regret for somethin, jaundice, envyg, repent which means to regret, too, amusing which means interesting, quail which means scary, gourd which means pumpkin, astonishing which means amazing or marvelous.

  18. I have listened to 2 EslPod pocasts, one is the #164 one, and the other one is #170.
The first podcast is #164, "Seeing a specialist". This podcast is a dialog between Simon, who got nagging leg pain, and Dr. Sloap, the specialist. The dialog begins with Dr. Sloap saying "Good morning. How are you today?". Simon says that he is fine and his GP referred him to her. His doctor couldn't figure out the problem with his leg, so Simon went to see this specialist. Dr. Sloap takes a look on his leg and says that she wants to order some tests, but thinks that Simon may need surgery. Simon asks for other options, because he doesn't want to go under the knife when there are other options available.
The 2nd podcast is called "Q&A's at a Presentation". It's about a company which hired an outside firm to set up a system for keeping track on their projects. The firm gave them a presentation on how the system worked. Later, the employees could ask questions about the new system. The only employees who had questions were Yuri and Alessandro: Yuri thought that the system was too complicated and Alessandro wanted a feature that could limit their projects with sensitive information. Cecelia, the presenter, said that employees would usually use 2-3 features of the whole system on their daily basis, and also mentioned that there are key features to limit your project information.
I don't advise you listen to these podcasts, but you may learn some new words and check how they are spelled.

it's a good one... This topic is about a very popular entertainment of the United States caled reality T.V..

The most popular one in the U.S. has been the "American Idol" show. This is a singing competition where amateurs try to impress the judges and the audience calls in to vote off a contestant each week. The last person left standing gets a recording contract.

Another popular reality show is "Big Brother." In this show, a group of people live together in the same house for about 15 weeks. They're not allowed to leave and they can't have visitors. The people chosen to live in the house are usually very different. This way, there is sure to be a lot of conflict. Some people form alliances and other people try to go it alone. The contestants compete in games and each week, the other contestants vote off one person from the show.
The last person remaining gets a huge prize- in the U.S. show, a half a million dollars.
However, this man who was talking about these reality shows, he would live in a house full of strangers for that kind of cash...:D :D :D :D :D

    THE UNKNOWN WORDS:
REALITY SHOWS: the people in the shows are not profecional actors
AMATEURS: someone who does an activity just for pleasure, not as their job
IMPRESS: to make someone feel admiration and respect
CONTESTANT: someone who competes in a contest

  22. Hello, Today I have listened to a podcast named "Working in a Factory". That dialog is between Tony and Ember who are working in a factory. But Ember is new in that factory and it was his first day in that factory.
The dialog began when one of the workers, whose name was Tony saw a new worker and asked her name. Tony worked there many years but haven't seen a person like her.
The new worker said that his name is Ember and she is new worker and it is her first day. She said that she never worked in a factory.
Tony said that it doesn't matter and showed Ember's workstation. Tony added that Ember must remember that output and productivity are the most important things. At that moment Ember wanted to give a question but Tony as an angry teacher didn't allow her to give question. Ember said that she didn't know how to use machines.
Tony answered that he will teach her how to use it, and said that she must be very careful. But Ember said that he is trying to be careful but she can't because that machines are dangerous. If you do incorrect things the machines can harm you.
I give advise to listen this podcast because I learned words for example: plant manager, safety record and other words. I think when my friends will listen this podcast they will know new words and know the disadvantages working in a factory.

  23. Hello my podcast is about, what happens if you don’t like the gift from people who you know? That is a good question, after all in a new relationship you’re not as honest or as open with your emotions as you should be, or will be. This questions are not for new relationships, the handle gift giving is like death and taxes, you can’t avoid it. We’ve always seen the gift that we hated, but despite not enjoying the gift, your actions shouldn’t consist badly as if you rather haven’t seen a punch in a face, so with that, here are two good ways to not show that you don’t like that gift.
Tip N.1. Smile, nod and say thank you. If you got in a hard situation, for example if your grandma has given you a period after coffee, but she thinks that it’s a fresh coffee and you don’t like it, that coffee is disgusting, you don’t want to drink It and you don’t know what to do just give her a smile and hug her and say thank you, you’ll see, that’ll work. In the end a smile and thank should be your first reaction.
Tip N.2, don’t expect the world’s best gift. Birthday day cake , everyone like birthday cake or there are another things that people like, in a word, if you haven’t got the gift you wanted and the gift you’ve got, isn’t that gift, pretend that you like it, because maybe that gift was very expensive or hard to make for people who had given to you. Think that being in someone’s mind is better than receiving a gift, then show him(her) that you care about him(her) too. And hug, give a smile, say thank you him(her), and never show your sad face.
I learned from this podcast, how to pretend that I like the gift I've received.
I advice my friends to listen to this podcast.

  25. Hello!! I have listened to a podcast called "The Baby Nobels". The host was speaking about generous , very smart children such as Adi Rajagopalan and Christine Shrock. They created science projects. Christine Shrock is 18 years old and her project is Modelling Synergistic Cellulolytic-Hemicellulolytic Enzyme Complexes for Lignocellulosic Hydrolysis.
Adi Rajagopalan is also 18 years old and his project is Effects of Lid Dynamics on the Binding of MDM2 to the Tumor Suppressor Protein p53 with Implications for Cancer Therapeutics.
When for first time I saw this words I didn't understand anything but the explanation given later so I will explain .
Let's speak about the title of the podcast. It is called "Baby Nobels". What we understand about it??? There are science competitons for bright and generous students.Children with their projects have taken part in that competition. The competition is called "Intel Science Talent Search".It is referred as the "baby nobels",where 40 of America’s brightest scientific talents were chosen from more than 1,600 high school applicants.Intel and the Society for Science and the Public choose finalists and they present their projects at the National Academy of Sciences. In 1942 the finalist of this competititon has also won seven Nobel Prizes, two Fields Medals, three National Medals of Science and ten MacArthur Foundation Fellowships.
So it is time to translate the projects of that two children.
First means that he has built mathematical models which helped us reduce the cost of a type of alternative energy called cellulosic ethanol.
Second means that she has invented Lid Dynamics on the Binding of MDM2 just changing the shape of a little part of a molecule to help cure cancer.
The winner has not been yetdecided. The best of the best will be awarded nearly a half a million dollars in scholarships and prizes, including the grand prize of $100,000.
I've learnt many new words , for example;applicant, referr, fellowship. I would recommend my friends to listen to this podcast because I think that all of you will get interested in it . It is avery interesting podcast .Listen to it.

It was not a difficult podcast. However I have learned some new words. For example, nonsensical (senseless, mindless),variety (type, species),unlimited (measureless) and some other words.
It was very interesting podcast.I liked it very much.I think a lot of people will like this podcast, because it has a meaning. It was a podcast that has important meaning, too. For example,if somebody is leaving his or her class he must listen to this podcast and I think they won't be very sad.
To conclude I want to add my oppinion.I liked this podcast very much.I will advice my friends to listen to this podcast, because it had a meaning,it was very interesting and the spelling was very good.

  27. Hello, I had listened a podcast and I wanna present you it. The podcast's name is "Believing in Predictions". That dialog is between Armond, who din't believe astrologers and Patricia who believes them. Than they started to argue about astrologers.
Two friends started to decorate Christmas tree and suddenly Armond said that he hopes that this New year will bring him better luck than the previous year. When Patricia heard it she said that she believes astrologers. He also added that astrologers can easily answer to your question. Armond didn't believe astrologers, because as we know that they are charlatans and they can lie people for get money.
Patricia said that horoscope for your sign gives you warnings and he is wrong. Then brings an example that on that day horoscope said her that unpleasant person will try to shake her beliefs. It said she should just walk away from that strange person. The strange person was Armond, who tried to shake her beliefs.
I give advise to listen this podcast because I learned some words. And I also give advise to my friends not to believe in astrologers, because as in the podcast said they are charlatans and lie people for getting money.

  28. Hello everyone! Today I listened to a podcast which is about video games. The episode presents a broadcast in which the main host Vanessa interviews a psychologist and a game player, who tell some interesting facts about video games and about their usefulness.
First of all, the psychologist mentioned that playing video games is actually good for kids. But Vanessa told that she did not buy it, as she thought that kids only waste their time while playing video games. Then the psychologist explained that playing games kids give them all their attention to solve difficult problems, so games are like mental exercise which improves children’s overall development.
After this he told some interesting facts about video games. Video game is a computer program that organizes the games process, communicates the player with interface or another player. The first simple games were created in 1950s. One of those games was “Tic-Tac-Toe”. Then scientist Higinbotam, who helped build the first atomic bomb, created the game “Tennis for two”. After some years, Ralf Baer, who is known as “The king of games” helped to develop video games so much, that 1970-75 are called “golden age of arcades”. There are as many video game genres as music genres and even more. So there can be casual, serious, educational games, also adventures, platforms, puzzles, games for girls and etc. The first 3D game is “Monster Maze”. And one of the most popular games is “Super Mario”, the creator of which is Shigeru Miyamoto. For distinguishing his name I spend really much time :D. Since 2011, computer games are officially recognized as a type of art. I was surprised about the fact that there are game museums around the world, for example Computer game museum in Berlin. There is even a phrase “Gaming etiquette” which relegates to the norms of playing game. The player also mentioned that mobile phones became game platform after Nokia installed Snake into its mobiles. After that people could download games in their phones, but it was not very cheap. And now we can just go to Google play and download any game we want.
Now creating games is as profitable as creating movie. In 2004 the profit from sales of video games was 6 billion. One of the most profitable games, which costs 18 million dollars, is Super Mario. So friends do not spend time on persuading people to choose you as a president of one or another country, just be creative and create an interesting game, so you will be as rich as the president.
I like this podcast. It helped me enlarge and evolve my overall perception of things (Thank you!!!) and also I discovered the human, who created my favorite game Super Mario. I advise my friends to listen to this podcast.
Of course I did not forget about vocabulary too. I learned many new expressions and words, such as:
Do not buy it---it show, that the person does not believe someone or something
Ina nutshell--- to say something using as few words as possible
What are you driving at –-- what do you mean?
To bear fruit –-- a success or a positive result of something
    Evolve---develop
    Prolong---extend
    Profit---income, earning
    Impact---effect, influence
Interaction---the act or process of mutual work
    Glitch---crash, failure
    Afterward--- Later
    Thank you for your attention!!!

But Orlando didn't have that documents with him.The officer told Orlando to come back when he did.Later Orlando came back . He had a copy of his birth certificate. He needed to look identical passport photo. And at the end Orlando said that he would be back, soon.
I like this podcast very much. It was using a lot of vocabulary related to getting a passport.I knew a lot of new words and phrases. For example:
to do a social security number- It is a number that is typically only given to people who have legal permission.
Citizenship - belonging to a particular country.

  31. Hello!!! I have litened to a podcast called "A Presidential Science Debate".It is an effort which helpes to get the Presidential candidates and with the help of this debate they also discuss science issues before the election. The host was taliking about presidents he said that Hillary is undecided , Obama and McCain passed.Scientific community decided to commit about science and technology. They want straight talk on political buzzwords like climate change and stem cells.Citizens are worried that U.S. is losing it' edge because of a movement called Science Debate 2008.
AN article of the current issue of the journal Science proves that in 2010 90% of the world’s scientists and engineers will live in Asia. Researches are very well funded here.Authors argue that U.S. will be supportes as it is notice an economic growth in science and technology for the last fifty years.Science Debate 2008 had to be canceled before the upcoming primaries, Pennsylvania, because the candidates did not commit.Plans are already in the works for Oregon, where the primaries are set for May 20.This proof, journal article says, "that scientists can quickly be organized under motivated." But it will be possible if the politicians share their motivation.
I think that it is a very boring podcast and it is only waste of time. I've learnt some words from this podcast, for example; stem cell,to fund. I would not advice my friends to listen to this podcast as it is not interesting.

  32. Hi friends!!! Today I listened to a podcast which is about “The Walt Disney Company”. The episode presents a broadcast, in which Michael and Nick are in the middle of a live show. Listening to their conversation I found out some remarkable and interesting things about Walt Disney Company. Exactly these facts I will present now in my text.
Walt Disney Company now is the largest media and entertainment company in the world. As all of us know Walt Disney Company was founded by brothers Walt and Roy Disney in 1923, in Los Angeles. At the beginning it was called Disney Brother’s cartoon studio, but soon was changed. Now the company’s logo is a silhouette of the castle of Sleeping beauty. At first the company was created to sell a series of short cartoons called “Alice”. After “Alice” was created also “Oswald the lucky rabbit”. But soon after they become famous Disney brothers had some problems with their distributor and lost most of their animators. And after that great lesson Roy and Walt developed a new character –famous all over the world Mickey Mouse. The character is so splendid that even now Mickey is followed with a great enthusiasm. Not in vain Walt Disney said: “I hope we never lose sight of one thing—that it was all started by a mouse”. After Mickey Mouse, was created another masterpiece of Disney -“Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”, which was the first full-length animated cartoon. Critics said that the cartoon was amazing both commercially and artistically. That is why Disney got Oscar for this cartoon, which was called “significant screen innovation”. After that Walt Disney pictures created a very big amount of cartoons and films both for kids and adults, such as “Treasure Planet”, “High school musical”, “Tarzan” and one of my favorite cartoons “Ratatouille”.
What is also noteworthy that Disney liked to use the name “Retlaw Yensid” for his characters. That is only because it is his real name spelled backwards.
In this podcast broadcasters talked about Disneyland also. One day Walt Disney had a dream, a dream of place where kids and parents could have fun together. After that Disney began working on idea of creating park, which would eventually become a real “wonderful world of Disney”. Finally in 1955, in California after enormous amount of work Park Disneyland opened.
In conclusion, Walt Disney who was an American film producer, director, screenwriter, philanthropist, record-breaking Oscar Award winner, a man, who created many amazing cartoons for millions of people, was also a dyslexic, which means that he could write and read very hard, but it did not intervene him to become the greatest animator of the world.
I like this podcast too. Listening to it I remembered some moments of my childhood, which were related to cartoons. Also I get some useful information about Walt Disney Production. I would advice my friends to listen to this podcast.
Some words that I learned from this podcast are:
    Splendid--- magnificent, great
    Elaborate---develop
    Entrepreneur---employer, businessman
    Philanthropist--- Humanitarian
Close but no cigar---something which is good, but not enough good to be famous or succeeded
    Grief---trouble, sadness
    Perennial---everlasting
    THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION!!!

  33. Hi my podcast’s name is ‘’How tell someone their boyfriend or girlfriend is not right for them?’’ There is one thing, that your friend’s boyfriend or girlfriend can be the biggest loser ever and by big loser it means that he(she) can be very bad person or their relationship can be unreal. If you know that and you can’t tell your friend the truth, you must lie. But the lie isn’t right, so you must tell your friend the truth. Here are 2 ways how to do it.
Tip N 1 . Spread how loyal are they to each other. If your friend’s girlfriend or boyfriend is talking to your friend, but then he(she) goes and starts to chat with other girl or boy and you see that, you must tell your friend the truth and tell that he(she) must go. It is very hard to say and because of that you can start by saying, you know your girlfriend doesn’t deserve you or you know you can find a good person, who will be your real girlfriend, your friend will say things like, no you don’t her well or I love her and she couldn’t do things like that. And then you can tell about his girlfriend.
Tip N 2. Spread how serious is their relationship. If you see that your friend’s boyfriend or girlfriend isn’t serious to your friend, he(she) don’t cares about your friend or doesn’t cares if your friend is or not loyal to him(her), and your friend doesn’t understand it, you can easily tell your friend about his girlfriend, but if you see that your friend loves her(him) and you can hurt your friend’s feelings, you must prove that your friend’s girlfriend or boyfriend isn’t the right person. How to prove? That you think.
    The whole podcast was interesting.
From this podcast I learned how tell my friend that his girlfriend isn’t right for him.
I advice my friends to listen to this podcast.

  34. Hello everyone!!! I have listened to a podcast called “ Talking About Movies”. This episode is a dialogue between Martin and Joanna about movies. In this dialogue, they talk about movies. In this dialogue, Joanna told that she didn't like movies with big-budgets, a lot of special effects, big name stars, and crowd-pleasers. She told that she like only movies with some artistic valued and movies that stretch the imagination. However, Martin thinks that Joanna is a film snob and she watches only indie movies made on shoestring budget with a low production values. He thinks that she like weird movies with no plots and many strange characters. However suddenly Martin told that he is going to see the new Spider boy movie and he absolutely know that Joanna doesn't come. Nevertheless, Joanna said that she looking forward to seeing that movie and continues variety is the spice of life!!!
I have learned from it a lot of new words new phrases. For example, “indie”- stand from independent it usually refers to a music or a movie which made by small company, “shoestring budget”- is a low budget, “crowd- pleasers” – something that many people like, “predictable”- is something that you didn't know that it going to happen. “to stretch the imagination”- means to make you do something on artistic way, “artsy”- means try to be artistic, “ambiguity”- means that it isn't exactly certain, you’re sure what going to be, “a blockbuster”- is the movie that is very popular and make much money, “variety is the spice of life”- trying new things or doing new things in the life is good.
I would advise my friends to listen to this podcast; especially them who want know something about movies. It is interesting dialogue, interesting podcast about movie. You can learn fro this podcast a lot of new words, new phrases and new information about movies. You can listen to this podcast in www.eslpod.com !!! Thank you for your kind attention!!!

  38. Hello everyone!I have listened to a podcast named "Giving and getting presents".Now I am going to speak about this podcast which has a very important meaning.
This podcast presents a dialogue between Jessica and Ann.There where discussing if giving presents was better or worse than getting presents.Ann told that she only liked getting presents and told that she didn't like giving presents(especially to bad-tempered people),because if she gave her friends or relatives presents she would like to have one of that present, too.Jessica told that she liked getting presents, but she also told that she liked to give presents, too. She told that if she didn't like giving presents, nobody would give her presents. She also added that Ann had to be like Jessica, because nobody would give her presents and if Ann liked getting presents, she had to change.Ann told that she would think about the discussion which was between her and Jessica that day.
It was an interesting podcast, which had an important meaning.I think this podcast makes sense and I think this podcast will make some people change their character and love giving presents.
This podcast was a little bit difficult and I have learnt some new words. For example, decent (modest),ill-mannered (bad-tempered),unwise (brute).
This podcast was very interesting and that's why I'll advice all my friends and relatives to listen to the same podcast...

  39. Hey Guys!I have found a great podcast which is from The Mighty Mommy's Quick and Dirty Tips for Practical Parenting from podcast.com.The podcast is called "Mother's day is for Mom".This is very interesting and educational podcast.I like this episode very much. And I want to present it to you.
The man whose name is Dan was speaking about mother's day.And he said the mighty mommy is his wife.He told that mother's day is very scary day for dads.He told that everybody should give presents to their mothers and wives such as flowers or something else remarkable. This is a sign of respect. This day is very important for fathers, too cause they can make this day more lovely and happy full of warmth. He told that mother's day is for mom.And what moms really want for mother's day. Here is the answer.
Dan thanked that people who helped him to find the answer of this question on Facebook and on Twitter. Some people write that jewelry is a good present for this day and some people write that a day off can be good present. But!There are not so many women that would prefer a day off,but Dan's wife would prefer a day off for this day it would be like a mini vacation.Or a present like to sleep in all day and watch TV.Some people also suggested to make party with some moms leaving children and husbands at home. This would be amazing and marvelous.Or a day in spa.Moms will be relaxed.A girl also offer a great evening with husband at the restaurant.Your mom would appreciate your work.Another present is shopping. This is pretty cool. Some moms would prefer a day with family. This is incredible but some moms would prefer usual day at work.
I think it's not significant what you will give your mom the important thing is that you will give a present heartily with big respect. And I think that if you want a present for your mom the real present will be your good behavior.
This podcast contains large vocabulary. These are the new words that I have learned.
    vital-important
astonishing-amazing,surprising,(i remember that Miss Adelina has told us this word)
    sneak-gossip
    authentic-real,true
    solitary-alone
    sapid-tasty
    prodigy-astonishment
    daze-dumbfound
    felicitous-successful...
I would aadvice my friends to listen to this podcast cause it is very interesting and of course they can know more words, new words and they can also know what to give moms at mother's day.And to conclude I want to say important words "It's not how much we give but how much love we put into giving" -Mother Tereza.

  40. Hello everyone!!! I have listened to a podcast named “Being famous and anonymous”. Anonymous is an opposite of famous and no one knows who you are. This episode is a dialogue between Erik and Juliana. Erik asked Juliana a question about her getup. Juliana answered that she is very famous after being in one play and she want to go to walk and she want that people recognize her. Moreover, she thinks that if people will recognize her she will say goodbye to her anonymity. However, Erik told her that she could not be famous with being in one play. He thinks that few people went to see her play. Nevertheless, Juliana said that tomorrow newspapers would plaster her picture and all people would see her picture. However, Erik told that if newspapers don’t plastered your picture what will you do and why are you going around incognito. She answered that she is going to meet her fans. Erik said that the whether reviews are good and bad, and you may be famous and infamous.
When I have listened this dialogue, I understood that Juliana has star disease, which I think very bad and untreated disease.
However, I have learned from it many words. For example, “getup”- is an informal way to say unusual outfit, very strange outfit, “to be stay under the radar”- means to be immodest, not to draw attention to you. “A mob”- is a large group of people, people who are angry or very emotional about something and they together in one place and they’re making noise or causing some problems. “A disguise”- is something that changes the way you look, so that people don’t know who you are. “ to have your name in light”- literally means that your name is being displayed typically a large board a large area in front of theater , so that people can see your name people know who is performing in that play or movie that he/she have your name in lights. “Privacy”- refers to keeping information about yourself secret, not letting other people know about your personal information. “To overestimate”- means to think something is bigger or larger than it is reality. “To adore someone”- is to show them a lot of love. “Plastered”- in this content means displayed too many places, easy for people to see because it is everywhere. “Anonymity”- means that no one knows who you are. “Incognito”- is another way of saying in discuss. “To be infamous”- means to be famous, but for bad things as you have done, everyone knows who you are, but they know about bad things that you have done. A similar word of infamous would be notorious which is having similar meaning.
I would advise my friends to listen to this podcast, because it is very interesting and enjoyable podcast. The dialogue was amazing. You can learn from it a lot of new words, new phrases and new information. You can listen to this podcast in www.eslpod.com !!!

  43. Hi, as we must listen a podcast and then write our impressions and thoughts about the topic I listened a podcast named 'Waiting for exam results'. That dialog is between two friends. First friend's name was Joel and the second friend's name was Susanne.
This podcast is about an exam that wrote Joel and his friend came to see how his friend wrote the exam. The exam was really important and if he didn't pass it he won’t graduate the university. Joel was panicked because he was thinking that he will get away from university. And on that moment came their school director and said Joel that he passed that exam. He said that Joel wrote the best and for it their school gave an offer to study at Cambridge University.
I give advice my friends to listen this podcast because firstly I learned new words and secondly I understand that we mustn’t be panicked before knowing the test results.   

  45. My podcast is about how to deal with annoying house guests. There are some house guests that annoy you or there are some times that you just want them to leave your house and you can’t find a way to tell them that. Well, here are 2 ways to help you.
Tip N1. Have a deal when the house guest is a slab. Some house guests watch TV, eat some good food, talk very loudly, sleep, feel like they’re in their own houses and then they sleep again and then again and the again. You must show them that it isn’t polite and so they can understand you, you can do that, because you’ve done so much for them.
Tip N2. Have a deal with a house guests who are lazy. If your house guest is lazy and his not doing anything, or he has a work to do, but he doesn’t do it and lays on the chair whole day, well you must say to him, look brother I know that it is hard for you to work, but I’m working every day and I get tired too, but if you want to live with me you must work. This will work, trust me.
From this podcast I’ve learned how to deal with annoying house guests.
The whole podcast was interesting for me and I advice my friends to listen to this podcast.

  46. Hi friends!!! Finding interesting podcasts becomes harder, but I think I found something. The podcast, which I found, is about Pet friendly restaurant. Jayne, who is the host, talks to Chuck Reynolds. He is an owner of little pretty restaurant for dogs, so during program he introduces the general details of dog restaurants.
At the beginning Chuck tells that he is a big lover of dogs and he has a dog in his house. He tells that his dog is definitely a member of his family pretty much as his kids. Chuck and his wife even think that looking after both kids and dogs need a big deal of diligence, chariness and considerateness.
In the middle of the conversation they discuss the reason why in many restaurants is not allowed to bring a dog. Chuck gives his opinion saying that many restaurants had a bad experience in the past, for example some problems related to dogs, or unsatisfied guest or people who have allergy to dogs and etc.
Then finally he introduces the main details of pet restaurants. Chuck tells that there are many pet restaurants in France, England and of course in USA. All those restaurants have special stuff for dogs, for example special sitting areas, tables, walk-up window for takeout dining. In some restaurants people can find also sea food for dogs. In Los Angeles there is a pretty cool restaurant which even has a special menu for dogs. In that menu are included turkey burger, greenies, special chocolates and high quality kibbles, which dogs like very much. But without doubt the prices are also very “beautiful”. For instance only one burger costs 100 or more dollars. So this restaurant is for rich dogs. So even among dogs there is a social class difference.
At the end Chuck advices the pet owners to go to USA Destin area, as they can find there a lot of places that are pet friendly. There dogs can do anything they want: lap up any beverage they want, chomp some biscuits from any table. Some of these places comprise shopping venues, barbershops only for dogs. There is even a special grassy area for dog walking, but there is a requirement: dog owners must bring with them their own bags to clean up :D
This podcast is useful and interesting for me as I have a dog. But I do not think that this will be interesting for all of my friends. So I will recommend this to friends who also have a dog.
Some of the expressions and words that I learned from this podcast are:
    Kibble---special food for dogs
    Diligence---effort
Lap up---the way of dog drinking
Chariness---the state of being careful, also attentive
    Furry---bushy
    Dozen---a group of twelve
Off color---is used to describe someone that is ill
Like a blind dog in a meat market--- unable to take an action to do something
Live in clover---is used to describe people who have a lot of money
Soulful--- full of or expressing deep feeling
    Untutored---naive, unskilled

  47. I have listened to some podcasts from EslPod, which are #265 and #244.
Let's start from #265. It's name is "Listening to the Radio", which is a conversation between Kurt and Gloria. Kurt gets annoyed by Gloria's radio and tells him to turn it down. Gloria refuses to turn it down. Kurt asks if it was on Campus radio. She says that it was on the public radio, and she got good reception after putting the long antenna outside of a window, and now she refuses to turn it off. Then they tell each other that they are low/high tech. There were some new words here like reception and satellite.
2nd podcast is called "Critiquing someone's work". It's a dialogue between Noriko and Walt, who are describing Russ's work to each other. Noriko says that she didn't have time to look at that project, but Walt had and describes the project to Noriko. He says that the cover is nice, but Ross wants to feature their company's older products and forgets their new ones. He also notes that there is alot of room for improvement on Russ's project, and they arranged a meeting with Ross to give him their feedback and to improve Ross's work. There were some new words here, too, like to take the reins and to give your two cents.
I think I won't use podcasts from EslPod again, because these podcasts are the most pathetic ones that I have ever seen (>:D).

  48. I have listened to a podcast called "How to Keep Your Relationship Strong, Even After Kids?"
When i saw title of this podcased it interested me, but when i listened it, i thought that it is primitive. i think if you have logic you can easily get away from this problem without advice.
In this story, Sophia went to Dr. Haimson and told about her family matters.
So Dr. Haimson gave her advice about how to keep relationship.
He gave her many advices, but i will tell some of them...
Dr. Haimson said, instead of sitting alone in chair, she can snuggle up next to husband while they are both on the sofa watching TV. Every chance she must to get, steal a kiss, give a hug, squeeze leg while they are driving, greet one another with a passionate kiss when returning from work instead of a rote peck on the cheek, make eye contact with one another...
Sometimes the little touches mean the most and work to keep connected...
The next advice which he gave was cooking. He said Sophie to cook her partner’s favorite meal for no reason at all. To drop by the office with a plate of homemade double chocolate chip cookies that she knows he loves. Stop by the store and pick up a slice a bottle of his favorite wine. Put the kids to bed, cook a meal together, and have a cozy dinner for two in bedroom!
The next part of keeping reationship is to pay attention... Dr. Haimson said to Sophie when her spouse comes home from work, to be interested, really interested in how his day was. They take one another for granted without even realizing it, get in the habit of learning more about what makes them both tick during the day.
Dr. Haimson also said that she can talk about goals, dreams, fears, quirks, and hopes for the future.

  49. This is not another tiny podcast from EslPod.com, I took it from podcast.com. It's called "How to Decide Between Trash and Treasure", and is from the episode called "Get-It-Done Guy's Quick and Dirty Tips to Work Less and Do More". That Get-It-Done guy is Steven Robbins. (This podcast's first part is a useless ad.) Steven says that he collected some books to read. As a group of books, he wanted to change the books he chose to read. But individually, he wanted to read them. This podcast features 3 tips for deciding what is useless and what is not.
1st tip is "It uses a group to set limits". You have to decide how much you want to get rid of and how much you want to keep. For example, your house has 6 rooms, but you keep only 2 rooms, which will free 4 rooms for a guest bedroom and other stuff.
2nd tip: "Consider replacement costs". Steven's example: he likes sticky pads. Ten years ago, he bought a ton of them to make sure he never runs out, and he still has a box full of sticky pads left. Even if his emotions are crying to keep the sticky pads, his brain knows that this is not an option. The sticky pads are inexpensive, and cost 20 dollars for the amount of sticky pads he used for 5 years. Are 20 dollars worth of freeing up space? The answer is "Yes". Also, replacing things is your civic duty and keeps the economy in your country going.
I don't remember the 3rd tip and will leave you to check it out. There weren't as many new words here. The description are the words of the podcast, but they contain alot of grammatical mistakes and even miss some words, so don't get tricked by it.

  50. Hey guys!I agree with Syuzi that finding interesting podcasts becomes harder.I have alredy find a podcast called "Reducing Household Expenses".This podcast presents a dialogue between Ronald and Ginger. This podcast is about household expenses as you notice. It's not an intereting podcast for me.And I want to present it to you I think you won't love it,too.
The host (Ronald) told Ginger that if we want to save enough money to buy a house we need to get serious about our finances and do some financial planning. The first step is to create a household budget. Ronald thought that they had a pretty good idea of their spending patterns. So it shouldn't be too hard to come up with a budget that they could both live with. Ginger agreed with Ronald.Ronald said that one thing was they need to keep in mind was that they tended to underestimate their monthly expenses.Ronald created a spreadsheet and he suggested looking through that and to look at art discretionary spending on that spreadsheet . Ronald was convinced thatbif Ginger would be surprised at how much money they spend on non essentials. Ginger assure that if she would get her nails done only three times a month instead of getting her nails done every week and instead of buying sixty inch TV they could get fifty two inch TV and that should save them a lot of money. If they didn't cut back much more drastically.they would be ready for retirement, by the time they could afford a house. This was the end.
    I don't like this podcast cause this was not an interesting episode.But I can say that this podcast contains arge vocabulary.Many words and phrases I don't know for example;
to be all about something-to be very interested in something
    patterns-trim,design
    drastically-categorically
    inch-digit
    essential-significant,vital,important
    spreadsheet-table
    tend-lean
    underestimate-depreciate
    discretionary-optional
    reduce-lessen
    household-family
I don't like this podcast cause it wasn't interesting but it contains large vocabulary so I can't say I would advise my friends to listen or not but if they want to learn more words I can advise to listen to this podcast but generally I won't advise my friends to listen to this episode. You can find this podcast from podcast.com!!!

  51. The next podcast which I listened to is named “Jeet Kune Do”. The episode presents a live show in radio studio where Nick takes interview from special guest Phillip, a martial artist of Jeet kune do. By asking a lot of questions the host tries to understand the meaning of Jeet kune do, but he does not get it very easy as any Chinese thing is very hard to understand for other people.
As Phillip said Jeet Kune Do or simply JKD is a martial art system developed by a big master Bruce Lee. The main purpose of this style is to get maximal effect and extreme speed with the minimum of movement and energy. Bruce Lee did not call JKD style of martial arts, preferring to call it a “method” as according to his philosophy JKD can be used in any form of martial arts. He himself often referred to it as "The art of expressing the human body" in his writings and in interviews. JKD is like a “style without style” or “the art of fighting without fighting”. This method is originally designed for the successful self-defense in a street fight. JKD can be used in any martial styles, such as Kung Fu, Tai Chi and other styles the names of which were very hard to understand.
The main principals that Lee incorporated into JKD are: non-Telegraphic Punch, economy of water, simultaneous parrying and punching, low kicks. Moreover there is one, very important point-Jeet Kune Do practitioners must be LIKE A WATER and MOVE FLUIDLY WITHOUT HESITATION.
JKD survives nowadays and is known throughout the world primarily due to one of the followers of Bruce Lee – Dan Inosanto who did everything to continue the work of Bruce Lee and to open a school of martial arts in Philippines.
I do not like this podcast much, as I am not interested in Chinese martial arts. So I will recommend this podcast especially to boys and also the girls who like martial arts and fights.
The expressions and words that I learned are:
    Precisely---exactly, definitely
Test the waters---try something new and to have a success
    Combat---battle, fight
Spontaneous--- resulting from a natural impulse or tendency, without effort
Premeditation---something which was considered in advance
    Fluidly---graceful
    Utilize---to use, to apply
Dignity--- the condition of self-respect, pride
    Cognizance---knowledge, awareness

  52. Hello everyone! I was looking for an interesting podcast and I thing I have found something like that.I wanted to find something more interesting, but it was fine.Anyway, there wasn't anything more interesting than this.I have listened to a podcast named "The book about Wales'.
This podcast presents a conversation between Ann and Susie.Susie was reading a book about Wales, which's was named "Wales is in my heart".While she was reading she learnt much information about Wales and Britain.Ann knew nothing about Wales and Susie suggested Ann telling about Wales.Ann told that she would ask her questions and Susie would answer her.Susie agreed.Ann asked if it was a nice place to visit.Susie told that it was a very nice place to visit, because she had seen the pictures of the book and she read about nice places of Wales. She also added that the tourists didn't need passports to cross the border from England to Wales.Sh etold that soon people realize that they enter to a country with its own language, cathedral and traditions.Ann was surprised and asked if Welsh people spoke English or other language.Susie told that they sometimes speak English, too, but their real language is Welsh, which is rather different. She told that even if we speak English fluently we can not understand them.Ann asked if there were any services she could call and ask some questions about Wales.Susie told that in the book she was reading was written nothing about that, but there was written that there is a Rescue Service, which can help them if there would be an accident. She also suggested Ann spending her holiday there.
This podcast was interesting, but it wasn't the podcast I wanted to listen to.I wanted to learn more information about Wales, which I couldn't learn by listening to this podcast.
The pronunciation was very good and I could understand each word that they were saying. There were a lot of new words for me,which are very helpful.Despite not very interesting meaning everything was very good and especially pronunciation and the new words and that's why I want to advice my friends to listen to this podcast.

  55. Hello!!! I've listened to a podcast called "Mars Is Alive!".
The host was speaking about that methan is found on Mars.Which means that Mars is still active geologically .NASA and university scientists have found an issue of the journal Science. The scientists have studied the atmosphere of the Mars and they have measured the methane levels over the last few years. They have used telescopes with infrared spectrometers to do this researches. These instruments identify chemical compounds due to analyzing their light absorption properties.
The scientists have found that Martian methan has a shape of a plum. These plums can be a result of different types of geological events. For example extinct living systems can produce methan .
On earth, 90 percent of the methane in the atmosphere comes from the biochemical activity of life. The rest is produced by geochimical processes. The Mars's methans structure could be known if its origins are biochemical or geological.
I think that it is not a very bad podcast and if you got interested in it so read !!! I have learnt some new words from this podcast, for example;plum, infrared spectrometer, absorption.

  56. Hello!!! I have listened to apodcast callled "Judge and Jury in the Brain".The host was speaking how human brain acts as both judge and jury. When judje will decide is the person gulity or not his brain acts as both judge and jury. A study has been published in journal Neuron. That study shows that the human brain 's judje and jury are in differen places. When judje has to make a decsision is the persion guilty and if yes, what punishment does he deserve .Scientists at Vanderbilt University due to their researches have found how our brain does this in the case that the brain’s judge and jury sit in separate places. They have used functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) to control brain activity of subjects as they read about various crimes, and decided to see how serious the guilty should be punished, or whether they should be punished at all.
Researchers found that in the moment when judje deciedes if th person guilty or not a brain region involved in analytical thought was most active . But a differen area weighed in on how to make the punishment fit the crime. The study was funded by the MacArthur Foundation Project on Law and Neuroscience. So we understand that in the case of judjing or punishment we may be impartial but not without passion!!!
I have learnt many new words rom this podcast , for example ; passion, impartial,Magnetic Resonance Imaging(MRI).I advice my friends to listen to this podcast as Ithink that this will interest them very much !!! :)))

  57. Hello!!! I have listened to a podcast called "Fruit Flies, Fragile X and Foolery". The host was speaking about A study in the journal Nature Neuroscience which shows that fixing damage of specific genes of the fruit fly appears to correct problems with memory, which could point to the possible treatments fragile X syndrome in human organsim. But Sarah Palin has a negative opinion about fruit flt researches. She is often dismissive of science. She told that tax money has gone to projects that hadn't done anything good for public and one of this projects is fruit fly's project in Paris and she added "I kid you not , everything is right".
As amother of baby with specisal needs baby she will check her report in the journal. Researcher Francois Bolduc keeps 300,000 fruit flies in a basement laboratory. He found that a violation of one of the gene known as FMR1 in the brain of flies can wipe their long-term memory. The damage to this gene in humans is associated with learning and memory problems, epilepsy and autism.
That feature is named fragile X.Bolduc has found a class of drugs which has helped the flies to restore their memory. That drugs reduce the activity of the gene FMR1.Which maybe will be able to help . to cure people too.

    1. My podcast is about how to not be annoying. There is always a guy who annoys us every time. The person, who interrupts you while you’re trying to work, the person, who is always with you and never stops talking, the person, who dishonors you at cultured places. That’s that guy. Yes, we hate that guy. But that guy could be very polite guy but he makes us think that he’s very annoying. There is a very strange news for you. Sit down and just read it.
If you don’t have that guy in your life, there is an outside chance that you may be that guy. I know what you’re thinking, no way! People love me, it can’t be true. Of course people love you, but not all people. The truth is, each of us is that guy. Fact, there will always be someone up there, who can’t stand you for whatever reason and often may be just because you’re trying too hard to be liked or helpful or trying too hard to do a good job. Being helpful is very good, people like helpful people, but they don’t like people, who are too much helpful. Let the other person do most of the work, when they want to do it by their own. We all have behaviors, outride performances that are irritating other people. And maybe one of the best things person can do, is to recognize a fake laughter, when you hear one. Yes it’s true.
Also believe it or not it’s possible to be too friendly. You can’t force someone to be your friend. And access of kindness can be annoying, because the person to whom you’re being kind can feel that they now ignore you. Which is not a good start to our relationship. You just need to be informed of how that person is receiving you. If you feel that you’re annoying your friend and he can’t stand you, just put yourself in that person’s place and show him that you’re sorry for your bad behavior.
If you do things like that everything is going to be fine.
      I’ve learned only one word.
      Dishonor- let down , shame.
      The whole podcast was interesting.
I advice my friends to listen to this podcast.

Many people think that they sing fairly. But many eople stay in key.But how they can actually stay in key?
Scientists think that they have an answwer how many people can stay in key. They presented their study at a conference on acoustics in Paris July second. They have stopped people at random in a Montreal park .They asked them to sing Quebec’s anthem.40 of 42 sounded very well. The persentage is unbelievable high. But what about that two people who didn't sing well.I think that it is very interesting . Why couldn’t they carry a tune?
Than the researchers repeated the expirement . They asked people to sing Jingle Bells. Then they decided to test the bad singers . They gave them music to listen. And asked if they could identify the sour notes.
The researchers found that the in steps pop singers are divided into two classes.
There are singers who can't hear that they are hitting the wrong note. And there are singers who notice it but they keep singing.
I think that it is not a bad podcast and if you got interested it is worth listening to this podcast.
I have learnt new words and phrases from this podcast. Here is the list of new words and phrases

  62. Hello everyone!!! I have listened to a podcast named “Being Genuine and False”. This episode is a dialogue between Javier and Florien. It is going to be about people who are genuine, people who mean what they say and people who are false, people who say one thing but mean something else. The dialogue starts with question of Javier. He asked to Florien about Terry who cozying up to her this morning. He wants to know what was that about because he sure that Terry is false people and he wants something else but only not helping employee. However, Florien told that Terry just offering her some advise about her first proposal. She thinks that Terry want only help a new employee and she doesn’t think that he had an ulterior motive. She told that he seemed genuine and open. She asked Javier about was there something he needed, but he answered that he only trying to watch out for her. Florien aggressive said that it would be better that she get back to work and she said that she beware of anyone giving her advice who may have an ulterior motive.
From this dialogue, I have learned a lot of new words and new phrases. For example, «to cozy up to someone»- means to do and to say things to try have a close relationship with the other person, usually because you want something from that person. The word cozy can also mean comfortable. «A proposal»- is a written document that presents some solution to a problem, often it is asking for money in order to do that solution. You may write a proposal for example to get money for a new product and you give that to your boss or your boss’s boss and someone says yes or no to your proposal. If you are, a charitable organization and you want to get money from some rich person you would write a proposal and send him or her. « Upfront»- mean honest without trying hiding a thing. «An ulterior motive»- means a secret, hiding reason for doing something, especially if it has negative consequences for someone else. « To take someone face value»- means to understand or to expect something as it appearances without thinking that there is a hiding meaning or hiding explanation. « Reputation»- is what other people think about you, it is other people's opinion about you. «To be two-faced»- means that you are dishonest, you ay things to one person and than you talk to someone else about the same subject and you say something else. “False pretending”- means dishonestly, someone pretending to do something that isn’t real. “To stab someone in the back”- means to do something that will hurt the other person. “Genuine”- means to be real, to be true. “To watch out for someone” –means to do something to protect the other person, to keep him or her self. “To be bewaring of someone”- means to be careful.
I would advise my friends to listen to this podcast because it is very interesting podcast. Moreover, you can learn some personal adjectives and a lot of new words and new phrases. You can listen it on www.eslpod.com !!!

  64. Hi again. Some days ago I concluded that it is harder to find normal and interesting podcasts then to understand what the podcast is about and to write about it in blog -_- . However, the next podcast is named “Box Jellyfish”. In this episode the host is Richard Misky, who tries to introduce jellyfishes for audience in a live TV show.
According to his performance box jellyfish differ from other types of jellyfishes. They are invertebrates and are called boxes because of cube-shaped medusa. They have true eyes, featuring corneas, lenses and retinas. They also have a sophisticated nervous system. Another remarkable fact is that box jellyfishes do not have brains, but the eyes, which they have, give them an opportunity to actively hunt prey. Richard mentioned that in the journal “Current biology” appeared an article about box jellyfishes. According to that article they have an impressive set of 24 eyes of four different types. Moreover, researchers have found that four of those eyes “can be used” also out of water.
The box jellyfishes are also called Deadly boxes and Sea wasps, as the touch of so called “teenagers” gives the victim horrible pain. Sometimes the touch of these jellyfishes can be fatal for little organisms and even human.
Of course jellies do not have feet, but the canopy tracking enable them to navigate to their preferred spots, where the prey is plentiful. As I said jellies do not have brains, but what is amazing they use a clever strategy during hunting. Instead of having a heavy, big brain they have a collection of eyes. And these different eye types are responsible for informing different behaviors which happen around jellies. So these eyes are like spices for their masters. Jellies are also capable of achieving speeds up to 1.8 mile in a second.
And the most fun is that box jellyfishes are as diverse as their eyes. There are more than 36 types of box jellies. In the sea box Jellies feel like in a 5 star restaurant as they have a very big assortment of food, such as small crustaceans called copepods, zooplanktons, any type of small fishes and etc.
I like this podcast much. It gave me a lot of interesting facts about jellyfishes. Certainly I will recommend this podcast to my friends.
The words and phrases that I learned are:
    Sophisticated--- complicated, experienced
Invertebrates---live organisms which do not have vertebras (vertebra in Latin means spinal bone)

    Fatal---deadly, mortal
    Influx---flood, inflow
Onshore---place which is near the beach,

  65. Today’s next podcast is named “Stress and its roots”. The podcast presents a conversation between two hosts Vanessa and Denise and psychologist Ryan. Listening to this podcast find out many factors which people can get stressed. So in the text below I will introduce these factors.
At the beginning of the podcast Ryan explained the general meaning of stress. Stress is the corresponding state of the nervous system of human body. It is defined as the human’s organism’s response to an environmental condition and things that happen around. All the things that make people get stressed are called stressors. In medicine, there are positive and negative forms of stress. The first is called eustress and the other –distress. But Ryan mentioned, whatever the stress is “good” or “bad” its influence on the human body is not positive and desirable.
In the middle of their conversation the host Denise said that she got really frustrated as that morning her motorcycle did not star. And then she got a headache. After her story she asked Ryan about the symptoms of Stress. There are many types of syndromes such as emotional, physical, behavioral and cognitive, but I will count only few of them. So if you have memory problems, moodiness, aches and pains, inability to concentrate or to relax, nervous habits, if you eat and sleep to much or too less and you get angry very fast it is very possible that you fall in a deep stress.
The roots of stress can be diverse; they can be both very little and big. People can get stressed because of everything. Because of bad mark in school, bad relationships with people, bad presents for birthday, problems at work and someone’s lose. But at the end Ryan also said that stress coming from challenging situations can be very productive!
The words that I learned from this podcast are:
    Frustrated---the stare of being disappointed
Stressed out---it means that the person suffers from stress
Healing --- to return to health
    Cognitive---syn. to subjective
    Nausea---sickness
    Manifold---many types of something, diverse

  66. Hi everyone! Today’s podcast is named “Milky way”. At the beginning I thought the podcast was something like an advertisement of Milky Way candies, but then understand that it is about our galaxy. The episode presents a live show in radio studio where the special guest is very famous astronomer Carl Sagan, who has just got the latest estimate of our galaxy from Caltech astronomers.
At the beginning of the podcast Carl gives some general information about Milky Way. The Milky Way is our galaxy, as it contains Solar system. Milky Way with Andromeda’s galaxy and many other little satellites form the Local group of Galaxies, which is the part of Virgo Supercluster. Our galaxy has a dick-shaped structure.
The galaxy received this name because it is like a dim “milky” glowing band of star, where no one can distinguish an individual star with naked eye. But there is also an interesting old Greek legend which explains the origin of Milky Way’s name. According to that myth the galaxy was created from the drops of Hera’s milk. Milky Way is described as the road to Olympus also.
In Sanskrit it is called Agash Ganga or something like that (I could not distinguish what Carl said). And in Armenian it is called “The way of the grass theft” and there is also a legend related to this name.
About the latest estimate from Caltech astronomers Carl Sagan told that these astronomers started to investigate a star which is called Kelper 32 and which is smaller and cooler than our Sun. But what is really remarkable about this star, is that from the Kelper’s telescope is very easy to detect any planet. So according to the investigation from this telescope and calculations of Caltech astronomers there are more than 100 billion planets in our galaxy. It is really spectacular and unbelievable.
As a conclusion, Carl said that many of these planets may be the size of Earth. But our Earth is the only planet that produced Carl Sagan, Hedrick Lorenz, Albert Einstein, Hemingway and many other geniuses and all the other people.
I like this podcast much, as there are many interesting facts about Space on which I am hooked. So I will strongly recommend this to my friends.
I learned some words and phrases like:
    Dim---weak, unclear, shadowy,
Derive---deduce, receive, also -to obtain or receive from a source.
Satellite---it is an object in a Space which is always near its planet, for example moon for Earth
    Origin--- syn. source, root
    Dribble---to drip, to drop
Chariot---an ancient horse-drawn two-wheeled vehicle used in wars
    Dwarf---gnome, little, undersized
    Prober---syn. to investigate

  67. The next podcast is called “Dog’s evolution”. The episode presents a dialogue between Kerstin Lindblad-Toh and Ewen Callaway. They talk about the report in Journal called “Nature”. The report reveals factors that turned wolves into humanity’s best friends-dogs.
When any of us think about dog’s food, we presumably imagine more meat than potato. But the new study, which was published in journal “Nature”, found that dogs possess genes for digesting starch. Exactly this fact set dogs apart from their carnivore cousins-wolves.
Kerstin Lindblad-Toh says that dogs and wolves have the same canine ancestor. However, as we see there are very few resemblances between them. Wolves have larger teeth and skulls than dogs do. And wolves will bite a little part of you rather than will bring you newspapers and slippers.
To reveal how many differences there are between these two, scientists compared the DNA of wolves and dogs. As a result they found 36 regions of genome that set dogs apart from wolves.
That evolutional trick may have made it easier for dogs to survive when living with humans. So starch metabolism is a very important part of dog’s evolution and adaptation. Without it their genomes could not be changed, so they would not become human’s best friend.
At the end of the podcast Ewen Callaway added that now dog owners always give him the same question. They ask if they should feed their dog as a wolf. And Callaway’s answer is always the same-“No”. The study showed that dogs should not eat the same food as wolves, because during evolution the need of food types has changed during 11000 years.
So we must always be thankful to the “Evolution” because if it had not been we would be deprived from our best friends.
Listening to this podcast once again I recognize how amazing the nature is. It seems like everything is connected, planned, synchronized in it.
The words that I learned from this podcast are:
    Thrive---prosper, improvement, succeed
    Pinpoint---exact, faithful
    Presumable---possible, probable
Starch--- (C6H10O5) n, a natural carbohydrate, (for ex. it is contained in potato)
Digest---to convert food into simpler chemical elements which are suitable for organism
    Carnivore---animal who eat meat, predator
Ancestor--- forefather, a person from whom one is descended

  68. My podcast is about “Holiday guest manners “. For many us holiday season means traveling to sea with family and friends. And this is a very stressful time of the year. And if you’ve gone to holiday with your friends or with your hail fellows and you don’t feel comfortable, then you should follow to my advices.
There is a very important rule to remember. No matter how often you were told to make yourself at home, do not actually ever make yourself at home. Because it’s not your house, not your TV, your fridge or your sofa. Always ask before taking something from refrigerator, always ask before changing the channel of TV, ask, ask, ask and ask. And every request should be made with your conscience and respect. Those are things that you should do.
If your host seems to keep the thermometer in the home little colder than your costume to, please don’t complain, your host should certainly be making an effort to keep you comfortable, but you weren’t the one, who should interfere him of that. You may request some blankets or even ask him about his thermometer, but asking questions like this “Hey, are we expecting to snow” or “Are we sleeping in this frozen room again” those questions won’t help you.
One more thing to remember here, is to keep a little on a negative talk. Being argument in nights or only talking about horrors of society and politics can make your host you’ve never showed up. And that is not how you show that your contented for all your host is done to make you feel welcome. Well those are things, which you shouldn’t do.
Follow to my advices and you’ll know how to be a good holiday guest.
From this podcast I’ve learned only 3 words.
Hail fellow- native, pal, a person, who is very close to you.
Host- a person, who adopts guests.
    Interfere-disarrange.
I advice my friends to find and to listen to this podcast.

  69. Can't find an interesting podcast, it's become harder... It takes me too much time to find normal one... i think that you will like this. Now i have found an interesting podcast about Walt Disney...
I think Walt Disney is a great person. Also, it was one of my favourite channels.
This podsast calld ''conversation -"Walt Disney"''
Here was speaking two neighbours, Tony and Alice.
Tony told Alice about Walt Disney that he was a film producer, animator, entrepreneur, entertainer, director, screenwriter, voice actor, international icon, and philanthropist. Walt co-founded Walt Disney Productions with his brother Roy O. Disney and became one of the most famous motion picture producers of all time. The company that he co-founded is now known as "The Walt Disney Company" and has annual revenues of approximately $35 Billion.
Walt and members of his staff created a number of the world's most famous fictional characters. This includes Mickey Mouse, whose original voice was Walt himself. He has won 26 Academy Awards and he has earned 59 nominations; he has more awards and nominations than any other individual. Also, Walt has won seven Emmy Awards, and he is the namesake for Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resort theme parks in the United States, China, Japan, and France.

Alice was surprised that Tony knows about Walt too much, then she said that she knows some quotes from Walt. And she started to tell about Walt's quotes. The first quote that Alice said was "All the adversity I've had in my life, all my troubles and obstacles have strengthened me. You may not realize it when it happens, but a kick in the teeth may be the best thing in the world for you."
The second was "Disneyland is a work of love. We didn't go into Disneyland just with the idea of making money."
The third was "It's kind of fun to do the impossible."
Alice also said this quote which i like too "If you can dream it, you can do it."
I will advice you to listen to this podcast, however i have already written this...

  70. Hello!!! I have listened to podcast called "Shhhh: A Real Cone of Silence".
The host was speaking about researchers who have used materials that scatter sound waves. They think that they have created a covering that could make an object completely soundproof.
When Harry Potter creeps under his cloak , he stays unnoticed. But how that cloak completely drawns the sound? This is what the scientists have designed on a tiny scale. They wrote about their research in the New Journal of Physics.
It will be real to create that cloak if we use sonic crystals. These are solid cylinders that can scatter sound waves.
The scientists wanted to find a material a real acoustic cloak that could redirect the sound completely around the object. They have to use 200 layers of that material to make that cloak completely impervious to sound waves. They think that they can also get the same effect using a thiner layer.
First of the effects can be for the ships . It can make it invisible to sonar. And it can protect us from our noisy neighbours!!!
I like this podcast very much . I think that it is an interesting podcast and I recommend my friends to listen to this podcast.
I have learnt some new words from this podcast. Here are that words...
    layer - coat
    cloak - cape , slicker
    soundproof - deafen
    scale - measure
    sonar - ultrasound locator

  71. Hello everyone!Finding pocasts is becoming harder. However I have found something interesting.I think it can help chilren who have pets at home, because the podcast I have listened to is named "Having a pet at home" and it has some advices about how children can look after about their pets.
This podcast presents a conversation between Samantha, whose nickname was Sam,and Amy.Sam was very angry that day.She told Amy that her parents were going to Spain for seven days and she had to take care of her pets (she had two parrots).Amy didn't have a parrot, but she had a dog.At first she recommended Sam to relax and think that all will be OK.Then she promised Sam to help her and to give advices. She told that she had to give that parrots their food and water every day (it was the main advice). If the parrots would make much noice she could close their cages with blanket and they would think that it is night and they had to sleep (every night she had to close their cages with blanket and if she wouldn't they wouldn't sleep).Sam relaxed and told that Amy helped her very much, but she wasn't very confident, because Amy's advices weren't enough.Amy suggested Sam helping her every day and she told that Sam could phone Amy and ask questions is something was wrong.
This podcast was intersting and it will be an interesting podcast especillay for persons who have pets (especially parrots).I liked it not for only being interesting, but having advices in it and because every time finding podcasts is becoming harder and harder.
I will advice my friends to listen to this podcast.because it was interesting,it had advices in it and the pronounsation was very good (I could easily understand the words).Everyone who will be in this situation can listen to this podcast and fell more confident that they can take care of their pets.
The words which were unknown for me:
    rackety-noisy
    solitary-alone

  72. Hi friends. As it is known only with help of tongue we can feel the sweet taste of hot chocolate, zesty taste of Italian pizza and even the nasty taste of bad meat. As you understand the podcast which I found today is about tongue-the organ which makes our life more diverse. The episode presents a broadcast during which the host with a famous biologist Robert Margolsky introduces the structure of tongue.
It is an undeniable fact that tongue is primary organ of taste. It is a muscle on the floors of the mouth which helps food to masticate. It is remarkable that tongue is the most powerful muscle in human organism. It is very sensitive and is always moist by saliva. It is covered by papillae and taste buds. Tongue also includes blood vessels and many nerves. And what is the most surprising the ability to feel different tastes is not localized in different parts of tongue. The reason of this widely spread error is some researches in 19th century. This is really a very big surprise for me as I learned in school exactly this error.
But the main topic if this broadcast is the article in the journal “Scientist”. According to that article scientists discovered as called “address” from where are produced taste cells. They scanned tongue and compared the protein of its cells with body’s other cells. As a result it was identified that in the back of tongue around the papillae there is a group of stem cells. There so-called parental cells generate the cells which carry all the receptions of taste. And thanks to those cells for example the soup born is not permanent, as they always produce new “daughter” cells.
I like this podcast much, as I am interested in biology. I learned some new information about tongue and found some errors which I did not know. Of course I did not forget to learn some new words also, such as:
    Luscious---fragrant, balmy
    Greasy---oily, lardy
    Moist---humid, wet
    Permanent---Lasting without any essential change
Savor---The taste or smell of something
    Bumpy---rough, irregular, uneven
Papillae---a small projection, which can be at the root of hair or in the back of tongue
    Extrinsic---outer
    Plexus---tangle, web, complexity
    Derision---ridicule, mock
    Masticate---the process of chewing food
    Thank you for your attention!!!

  73. I have listened to a very interesting podcast called “Using renewable energy”. This episode is a dialogue between Carl and Jody about using energy wisely / using energy that is renewable.
The action begins when Carl asks Jody about a smell which was in the room. That smell was from Jody’s latest invention which was turning the old food into an energy source for their house and car. But there were many types of renewable that power cars and homes, but none of them smell like that. Jody thought that she is onto a better alternative. Her imaginations were about being able to recycle the unwanted food into fuel. And that would become very popular, practical and useful in the future. Carl guessed maybe Jody has meant that she thought it would be more efficient than wind power and solar energy. There are geothermal and hydroelectric power plants that already provide energy for lots of homes and businesses. And he get as an answer that unlike the others she is using food that would otherwise be wasted. But badly Carl sad that he doesn’t like to give Jody bad news, but he is going to tell her about , but if she wants to change food into fuel, there are already different types of fuels made of animals and plants that work pretty well.
This podcast was very interesting and teaching for me. There the speakers were doing many interesting and zingy expressions which developed my vocabulary and made my English better.
From this episode I have learnt many unknown words, expressions and a new information referring to the energy. One of the unknown words for me was the word fuel which is the synonym of the word energy, to convert means to change. An expression like to hate to break something to someone, that is not to like to give someone bad news but to be going to tell. Also I have learnt some information about energy, that there are many kinds of energy, for example solar, wind power, geothermal, hydroelectric, biofuels.
I would advise to all my friends to listen to this very entertaining and teaching podcast, to develop English vocabulary and why not to get some information about this field of life.

  74. Hello everyone! I have listened to a podcast called “Having problems concentrating”. This episode is a dialogue between Wagner and Lisle. It is about a girl who cannot concentrate, to learn rules of road and pass a driver’s test. The dialogue starts with a question, which gives Wagner. He asked to Lisle that she would study for driver’s test or not. Lisle answered that she want to study but she keep getting distracted and added that reading that manual is very hard and deadly. Wagner told her that he knows that, but if she will focus on reading manual, she will pass the exam. Than said that Lisle have to buckle down and learn rules of road and that manual, because without knowing that manual and rules of road she cannot pass driver’s test. Than continue that he is here to crack the whip. Lisle told that she tried to concentrate on learning rules of road and manual but her mind keeps wandering and she is always ready to throw the towel for today. Than asked to Wagner about why her learning the rules of road and passing the driver’s exam or not worried him. Wagner answered that he have been chauffeuring her around since he got his driver’s test and he don’t plan on doing it for one second more than he have to. When Wagner said it, Lisle quickly said that she will study but not for that , that Wagner telling her that story, she will study because she wants to see Wagner’s face when her father give her the car keys.
From this dialogue, I learned a lot of new words, new phrases and new information. For example, “to be distracted”- means that you are not able to focus; you are not able to concentrate. “A manual”- in this dialogue means a small book that tells you how do something, “Deadly”- means boring, very uninteresting, literally deadly is something that can kill you. “To keep your mind on something”-is another way to say to focus on something, to concentrate on something. “To throw in the towel”- means to stop trying to do something or to give up. “To buckle down”- means to become very serious about trying to do something, to try to complete some job or some task, something that you need to finish without stopping, without making accuses. This is an expression, which we use when something is perhaps very difficult, but we need to complete it, we need to finish the task. “To crack the whip”- means to make someone else to do something, to be very controlling about what the other person is doing to tell them to keep going, don’t stop. Usually this expression is use to mean that the person doesn’t want to do the task and so you as their boss or parent or supervisor have to force them to do it. “ What is in it for you”- is an informal way of asking what benefit or what advantage are you going to get out of this particular situation, why are you interest . “Chauffeur”- means to drive someone else from place to another. If you have a lot of money you may have a driver, this person drives you to where you want to go.
I want to advise my friend to listen to the same podcast, because it is very nice and interesting podcast. You can learn from it a lot of new words and new phrases and new information. You can listen to the same podcast on www.eslpod.com !!!

  75. Hey guys!I have listened to a podcast called"Being a Strict Parent".This episode presents a dialogue between Alice(grandmother) and Kevin.Alice was talking about a visit to her granddaughter and they were planning something nice for Alice's daughter. Alice's granddaughter (Alice) would visit Alice the following day and Alice was restless, she wanted everything to be perfect. She explained to Kevin that she was going to spoil her rotten because her daughter is very stict and she didn't allow her to do anything that a normal ten year old wants to do. Kevin asked Alice to explain what exactly ten years old child have to do.And Alice explained that her time is very structured and regimented and she was never allowed any time for just a frivolous time. She could play as much as she wants to for the next week. And alice didn't want her to miss out on any experiences just because her mother is over protective. There would be no time schedules. And Kevin was sure Alice's daughter has instructions about how Alice's granddaughter should behave the punishments she should get if she missed behaves. But Alice was expecting a long listof rules for her granddaughter while she would be there but she shouldn't expect Alice to tow the line.Alice said that she had special privileges and she also told that nobody had to tell her what to do with her own granddaughter. Kevin persuaded that Alice's daughter not going to tell her thank you for spoiling her daughter. But Alice agrees with Kevin but she said "There is still thing or two i can teach her about raising a daughter".
This podcast was not so interesting. But this is a normal podcast for listening. But I would advise my friends to listen to this podcast because thay can develope their vocabulary.I have learnt many new and unknown words and expressions. For example:
to spoil- means to do something nice for another person especially a child
    structure-design
    regimented-means with a definite order a definite discipline,regulated
    privileges -prerogative
frivolous- Is something just for fun,(shallow, empty)
to be over protective- someone who is protective tries to keep someone else safe
    take off-remove
shackles-heavy pieces of metal that you put around someone in prison on their arms and sometimes on their legs(fetters, iron)
to miss out on something- not to be able to enjoy or participate in something to miss an opportunity.
curfew- is the time when someone usually a child or a young adult must be home
to miss behave -is the opposite of to be save
So here are the new words I have learnt and I would Advise all my friends to listen to this podcast ar podcast.com because they can develope their vocabulary and to know many words.

  76. Hello everyone! I have listened to a podcast called “Recommending for a job”. This is a dialogue between Judy and Harry. In dialogue, Harry told Judy that he has put in a good word for her with him boss and his boss said that he would interview her for the job. Harry told that she must be there at 4:00 sharp, because he is sticking his neck out for her by recommending her for this job. Judy says that she will be there at 4:00 and than continue that it is not her idea to get a job at his store and she does not ask him to put his reputation on the line. She thinks that job is not a good fit for her. She added that, she is not in a hurry and she want to find a job that really suit her talents. Harry said that she cannot afford to be choosy and she needs a job right now. Than he added that, he is side of her asleep on his couch and mooching off him. However, he thinks that she would find a job that suits her talents as fast as she can.
From this dialogue I learned a lot of new words, new phrases. For example, “To put in a good word for someone”- means to say something good about another person to a possible employer or someone who you are looking for a favor or to get something. M ore generally it means to recommend for a position. “To stop by”- is a phrasal verb meaning to go somewhere for a short period. “To stick your neck out for someone”- means to take a risk, to perhaps say something or do something that could hurt you but it could also help you and in this case help someone else.” To put your reputation on the line”- means to put your reputation at risk, to do something or say something that might change people’s opinion about you. Reputation is a people’s opinion about you. “To be a good fit”- means to be a good match, when something is comfortable or convenient, when two people or a person and situation seemed too matched for each other. “To afford to do something”- means to be able to do something, because if does not present any problems for you, it could also mean to have enough money to do something. To afford can also mean something without money. “To be choosy”- means to be willing to take or have only the things that meet you very high expectations. “To suit your talents”- means to make good use of your interests, to be something that, matches your qualifications, what you are able to do. “To mooch of someone”- is an informal expression meaning to take things free from another person. Especially money, food, clothing and you are not offering to pay them anything. “A nursing home”- is place where typically old people go because they have medical problems and they need a lot of extra care and help from doctors and nurses. It is not a hospital; it is a place where people can live for a long time. “An insane asylum “- is also called a mental or psychological center where crazy people go to put it another way. There are many informal ways of talking about it.
I would advise my friends to listen to the same podcast because this podcast is very interesting and you can learn from it a lot of new words, new phases and new information. For example, about how to recommend a job or find a place where can live your “enemy” or a people who you don’t like or you don’t want to see that people at your house. You can listen to the same podcast on www.eslpod.com !!!

  77. I have listened to a podcast caled "Father And Son". I think this podcast is a little bit interesting. This story is about a boy, who wanted to have more time with his father.
A man (the father) came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find his 5 year old son waiting for him at the door.
When thay have already had been at home, son asked his dad how much does he make an hour. Daddy answered that it none of his buisness, and asked why did he ask such a thing.
Son said that he just wanted to know how much did he make an hour.
Daddy answered that he make $100 an hour.
Then Son asked to borrow $50, but father was furious.
Dad andrily said if the only reason he asked that was so he can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then he selfish. Dady told to think about why he is being so selfish. He works hard everyday for such that childish behavior. The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door. The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?
After about an hour, the man had calmed down, and started to think that maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $50 and he really didn't ask for money very often. The man went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door.
Son was awake, dad said he had been thinking, and maybe he was too hard on his earlier. That was been a long day and he took out his aggravation on son. Then he gave $50 to son that he asked for.
The boy was smiling, and said "thank you" to his father...
Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills. The man saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again. The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his father. Father asked why did he want more money if he already have some. Sone answered that he had $100. Could he buy an hour of his time? and then sone asked to come home early the next day. He would like to have dinner with father. The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little son, and he begged for his forgiveness.
I think that this story was a little bit touching, because i know that we all sometimes have problems like this. We want to have more time with our parents, but they always busy...(or WE... :D)

  78. Hello everyone! Finding good podcasts is becoming harder and when I found this podcast I couldn't believe it.The podcast I have listened to is called "Summer holidays".When I saw the name of the podcast I was sure that it will be a good podcast and will interesting.I know that it will interest you, too.
This podcast presents a dialogue between Bob and Ann.I think you have already understood that I am going to talk about summer holidays.Ann and Bob wanted summer holidays to come soon and told that they loved summer and its holidays.Bob told that he missed summer holidays and the reason was only one..the school and the homeworks.Ann told that they had to study, because without it they couldn't have good work. She added that she liked summer holidays, because she could relax, but she also liked playing with friends in summer, wearing T-shirts and shorts, warm days, swimming in the swimming pool and doing other fun things.Bob agreed that he liked doing that things, too, but he hated school and learning. He added that the best thing was that his mother wouldn't tell him to do his homework and not to play computer games.Ann told that Bob wanted summer holidays for only silly things, but there were another things, which were more important.Bob told that everybody thought different and someone liked playing with computer and the other one would like to play with toys or with something else.Ann stoped talking and didn't continue fighting with Bob.She told him goodbye and went home.
This was an interesting podcast (for me).I love summer holidays very much and that's why I agree with this podcast. But I don't agree with Bob and agree with Ann.I am waiting to summer holidays. This podcast was easy so I could easily understand the 90% of the speech.
I will advice my friends and relatives to listen to this podcast, because I am sure they will like it.But that's not the only reason,I want them to listen to it because the pronounsation was good and it was and interesting podcast.
    The Unknown Words...
    Reliant-confident
    Fat witted-stupid,silly
    Companionable-sociable
    Attached-connected
I told that I could understand the 90% of the podcast...so this were the words which were unknown for me...

  79. My podcast is about “Conflict manners”. What you should do if you’ve got in a conflict. Let’s get a little situation. Pretend that you have your own party club and you’re thinking about your club’s plans, you have good ideas and suddenly someone in the middle of your thoughts steps up to you and says something like this “You lie!!!”. What do you do? Or maybe you’re the parent of a child who’s having an off day and just as you’re running up your kids, someone throws a rude comment on you about how awful your child is. At this situations you have to give them a right answer for example “Get out of my club or don’t interfere me ” and “ You know, our children sometimes get on our nerves, but you never should tell bad things about children, especially when it isn’t your child.”. What do you do if someone is displeased with something and you think someone else deserves the award. Had had you a thoughts like those “ I want kill him” or “ I wish that you’ve disappeared ”. Yes, things like those happened to us. If, someone offended you and you’re very angry and you don’t know what to do, then take a moment, compose yourself and continue your way, don’t get out of your skins. Don’t talk with him or change the subject or think that what he had told you isn’t true, find the best inside you, think that he doesn’t deserves you to argue with him, give him a scary face or just ignore him. You’ll show those around you that you’re unbroken. You won’t descend to their level.
And one thing that you should remember is that, never argue with fools. Because if argue with them, you’ll become a fool too, people will laugh at you, they’ll say things like “Hey! Look, idiots are fighting ” or “ You can’t argue with people, who are clever, and because of that you’re arguing with fools ” and many other bad comments. And because of that just ignore that fool. But if you see that that is getting on your nerves, and your cup of patience if full then say then just tell him “ Don’t argue with me, if you don’t want to become a clever person ” or “ Your brain is very weak to fight with my brain” or you can say good thing like “ Bro, let’s not fight, it isn’t the right way to solve our problem, let’s forget about what had happened into us and let’s shake our hands”.
If you listen to my advices everything will be fine.
From this I’ve learned only two words.
    Descend- to get down
Cup of patience- the size of your patient
The whole podcast was interesting for me.
I give advice to my friends to listen to this podcast, because it’s very interesting.

  80. I have listened to a podcast from Get-It-Done guy's series, called "How to deal with people who ask alot of questions". I'm beginning to like these podcast series, I don't know why.
This podcast was about people who ask alot of questions. People ask others questions which can be answered by themselves easily. You want to be polite, but telling people how to click the "OK" button is really a waste of time. When you answer one question, you get lots of others. And here's a solution for it: when someone comes to your office to ask something, you pretend to busy so much that you can't even turn to see who is it. You just say over your shoulder: "Grab the yellow book on the shelf. No, the other one. Done? Great! Go to the last parts. Done? Great! Find the title called "Prinintg" and go to that page. Done? Great! And what is written there?". WHen they tell you what is written there, you look deeply into their eyes and say "What a nice idea! Why don't you try that out?". That's for politeness and not insulting the man asking you the question. But with today's technology, it's even easier: you can tell them to just google it. But there's a special site for that, created specially for these situations. For example, someone asks you to tell him how to print. You go to LMGTFY.com(Let Me Google That For You), type in the question, and it will give you a URL. Give that URL to that man and he will find it. Also, he will understand how asking you wasted your precious time(try LMGTFY yourself).
Training people to use tools themselves takes time and energy, but you won't be disturbed again because of a useless question, especially if you work with these people daily. But what about strangers who have read your books or papers and need your advice? You can make your E-Mail auto-reply, like "Thank you for your email, the owner may or may not reply to it". And then, when you got lots of same types of questions, make a F.A.Q.(Frequently Asked Questions). If like 6 people ask you "Did you really win the 2009 customer service award?", they you publish that question in the FAQ. If someone emails you with a question already in the FAQ, just say "That question is replied to in the FAQ. Thank you for asking". If it's a new question and is asked frequently, publish it to FAQ.
I'd recommend my friends to listen to this podcast, because the "Qucik and Dirty tips" series are interesting. The official site is at quickanddirtytips.com. Thank you for reading.

  81. Hey guys!I have listened a podcast from The Mighty Mommy's Quick and Dirty Tips for Practical Parenting which is call "The Secret to Happiness".The host was speaking about children and she asked"What is the secret to Happiness?" and she asked also"What shall we do for our children to be happy and successful?.At first children must be good people and nobody can be always happy and successful. One day you will be happy and successful one day you can be unhappy. The host said that she asked her son some questions about happiness and success and her son answered that he can make happy his teachers and parents with his good marks or with good behavior. But!Everyone wants to be happy and successful. What to do for it?At first we mustn't be negative person you should always think about something good not like "No I can't do this"You must struggle and always say "I can do it and I will do it".Never surrender.Next step to work to do something good or well.If you work hard you can attain everything. With the help of this work you can be successful and happy person.Happiness is not money. With the help of money yes you buy many things but you can't buy happiness or success. Many people think money can buy everything. I agree with them but you can't buy real and true happiness or success. You will understand that it's not real happiness it is purchased. Many people say I am not successful but let's not say this cause if you inspire yourself you will never be successful in life.
This episode is very interesting and I like it very much.It doesn't contain large vocabulary only few words and I would advise all my friends to listen to this podcast because they can understand what is Happiness and what is Success so it's a chance to know more knowledge:)And why not you can learn new words. And here the new words that I have learned ===>
    purchased-bought
    to inhale-to inspire
    to attain-come
    to obtain-to get
    struggle-controvert
    surrender-pass
Go and listen to this podcast in podcast.com from The Mighty Mommy's Quick and Dirty Tips for Practical Parenting:)

  84. Hey guys!I have listened to podcast from The Mighty Mommy's Quick and Dirty Tips for Practical Parenting(again) which is called "It's Always Time to Read".The host was speaking about reading and about children that love reading or not.Nowdays children don't like to read. They are often interested in technique like computers,tablets,iPads...and if they read they prefer to read with the help of iPads or kindles.Parents especially mothers love to read to their children before sleeping and even before they born.At first they pay attention to pictures with the help of those pictures they are starting to understand the concept the idea of the book. The host said that even the location is important. The host also said that when parents change their voices this is very useful too. With the help of the voices they will love books. In my opinion books are very important for our development but kindles or iPads are very comfortable and you can take them with you for example when you travel you can take it with you and read any time you want.I love reading especially adventures. But it is more comfortable when you have iPad or kindle cause you can download a book every time you want. There are some few unknown words for example:
    concept-idea
    apprehension-thinking
    headpiece-intellect
    ken-knowledge
    enlightened-educated
I like this podcast very much and generally all the episodes from The Mighty Mommy's Quick and Dirty Tips for Practical Parenting are educational and I would advise all my friends to listen to this podcast from podcast.com

  85. Hey guys!I have listened to a podcast called "Children who lie".This episode was interesting! And the host was speaking about children who lie and about children chages. Some changes in children will make parents proud some of them won't.One of those chages are the transition from fantasy lying to actual lying.Fantasy lying is when children don't really know that they are lying. For example when a child five or six years old was saying that her friend has purple hair but her friend doesn't exist, but this is not a lie because child don't know what is real and what is just imagination. And this is real for child. This is child's imagination. And this is normal behavior of children. The actual lying is when children realize that they are lying. For example when a child break the vase or something else he or she is afraid of punishment and with that way, with the help of lying he or she escapes punishment. And they want to prove their innocence. But parents must encourage and say that they won't ounish them for breaking vase or something else.Or when children lie to their friends about having a dog(for example)this is not a lie,lie but a small lie cause they want to impress their friends and parents must say that they must be honest with their friends and if they will be honest their friends will be honest, too. There were some few words that I didn't know====>
    The unknown words:
    Fantasy lying and actual lying
    innocence-purity
    impress-affect
    to realize-to feel
I like this episode very much. This podcast is again from The Mighty Mommy's Quick and Dirty Tips for Practical Parenting. This very good and educational podcasts. So I would advise all my friends to listen to this episode from podcast.com

  86. Hi guys. Today’s podcast is about one of the greatest animals-dolphins. The host in this podcast is Justin Greg. At the beginning of the podcast he mentioned that loyal listeners to the Dolphinpod.com might have noticed that new episodes about dolphins had not appeared in the last few weeks. The reason was that some reporters were extremely busy, so they could not add any podcast. But fortunately now there is no need to have a fear as many new episodes are planned to come out. And then he finally started to talk about dolphins. Below I will present the facts about dolphins that I learned from this podcast.
Dolphins are marine mammals closely related to whales. The name of these animals is originally from Greek and in Latin they are called “delphinus”. Male dolphins are named “Bulls”, females are called “cows” and young ones –“calves”. And another amusing fact is that the group of dolphins is called a “school” or a “pod”. Adult dolphins are able to dive up to 1000 meters. The average lifespan of dolphins is 17 years, but some of them which are extremely adapted to the conditions of environment may live even 50 years. Dolphins are spread all over the world, but mostly in shallower seas and fresh water. There are 100 teeth in the mouth of dolphins and they are able to eat 30 pounds of fish daily. I calculate it and get that they can eat up to 14 kilos of fish daily. So if dolphins were not as kind creatures as they are, I would not like to be with them even in the same sea. That would be terrible )).
The last part of the podcast is related to the most interesting part of the Dolphin’s body-brain. It is well-known that dolphins are among the most intelligent animals. Dolphin brains are pretty comparable to human brains. And that is related not only to the sizes of brain, but also to the functions. Dolphins can smile, can play with people and easily understand what people, for example their trainer wants them to do during performance.
At the end of the podcast Justin Greg presented a song which is made by the dolphin’s community. The song is about species of dolphins. I did not like the song, but anyway it was interesting to know that there are more than 40 species of dolphins.
Here are the words that I learned from this podcast:
    Fusiform---spindle-shaped
Lifespan---the time of any creature, which are alive, syn. lifetime
    Resemblance---similarity
Disambiguation--- the condition, when something has more than one meaning
    Calves---a little cow
To dislodge---to go or move from a dwelling
    Notably---especially, particularly
Decompression sickness---an illness the cause of which the reduction of pressure

  87. Hello!!!
I have listened to a podcast called "Lucky Guesses May Be More Than Luck".
Researchers think that when we answer a question and we don't know thw answer we guess . When our guess is true we thnk that it is only a luck . But researchers think that it is not a luck .
They think that brain knows the answer , but we even don't realise it .That’s what scientists at Northwestern University are saying about so called lucky guesses.
They published their research online in the journal Nature Neuroscience.
    They have done a research.
Study participants were shown brightly coloured pictures.
The participants had to memorize half of the pictures.
During watching the other part of the pictures , they had to concentrate on nemorizing spoken numbers. In such way they were distracted.Later , they wer quizzed on all the images. They have not successfully remembered teh images. But they said more right things by guessing .The scientists say that it is due to their visual systems which help our brain to remeber the pictures .
And that what we call intuition which is often based on good information.
I recommend my friends to listen to this podcast . It is a very interesting podcast . I have learnt only one words and a phrases.
    distract - draw away
    spoken number - conversational number

  88. 2 days i have looking for an interesting and an available for writing podcast. Finally i have found one called "Detective Work".
Here Stuart had to look into the Linderman file. The Linderman Building was a beautiful building located in downtown Los Angeles, and Stuart's company(where he was working) had invested in it. They'd like to purchase it. So far so good.
Sometimes Stuart wonder what his future's going to be like. If he works really hard then one day he will have his own business or at least that's his dream. Some people say that the decisions we make today can have an effect on the rest of our lives, though that being said, He broke into the office where he works at. It could destroy his career.
For some reason Elizabeth wanted to destroy the building, the Linderman Building, the most beautiful and historic building in all of downtown Los Angeles. There won't be another one like it...

As our presentation is at hand, I decided to find and listen to a podcast about presentation training. I do not know the name of the host, but anyway in this podcast he gave really good advises about how to organize a good presentation. In my text I will present the steps of making good presentation.

Before making a presentation, give yourself this question “Why do I need to present this to audience”. Ask yourself “What do I want to give my audience” “Will my audience get something new, something different from my presentation?” Your mission as a presenter is to make your audience to know, understand, believe or do something because of your presentation. So if you can answer these questions you are well on your way to making a good presentation.

    2. YOUR OBJECTIVES
Objectives stop us from rambling. They give us a sensible order and logic. Objectives must be short, well defined. When you achieve them you will have good ideas for your presentation. But there must not be too many objectives. 3 or 4 objectives are enough for a good presentation.

    3. ORGANAIZE YOUR PRESENTATION
First of all think about the TITLE of your presentation. Try to make it interesting, exciting and a little mysterious. It will provide the good opening of your presentation. Then do researches related to your objectives. You must have as much materials as possible: facts, images, videos, figures, music. Get them from anywhere, mass together then re-arrange. Arrange them according to objectives. Try to understand which material is needed in each paragraph and stage. Aim to explore each point and objective with all your supporting evidence, illustrations, stories and images. And do not forget about CONCLUSION. It must be memorable. In conclusion is concentrated the main meaning of all presentation, and even the feelings that you got doing your presentation. So make it carefully, because it is the last opportunity to make yourself and your presentation memorable.

    4. EDITING YOUR PRESENTATION
Editing your material ensures that you keep on track for the sense that you want to make. Illustrate your text and provide your examples. Never use the unknown and hard words from the original materials. They can be unusual for you, so you can forget them easily. MAKE YOUR OWN SENTENCES WITH YOUR OWN WORDS.
Pay attention to different parts of the presentation. All the parts of your text must be connected together, even if you talk about different topics. Editing also ensures that you chose the right words and the right sentences, which are not too long and not too short for your audience. Also look out for some words the pronunciation of which is hard, mark these words and repeat in your mind often.

    5. REHEARS YOUR PRESENTATION
So now you have your own mission, title, objectives and all the materials of your presentation. The next step is to rehears, to learn your presentation. Rehearsing will not be difficult if you do it right. Always remember: YOU DO NOT NEED TO LEARN IT BY HEART, LINE BY LINE. Become familiar with your presentation. Go to a quiet room, sit down, and read presentation-silently. Then stand up and read it again. Once it is done, read it out loud. Then read it again, but this time move around the room. During reading give attention to your slides. RELAX. Pretend that there is an audience around you. Practice also in front of mirror. It will help you much.

  95. 6. YOUR VOICE
A.--- When you rehearse your text, take some time to practice tone and pitch changes. Sometimes try to make your voice louder, but mostly calm and lower. During presentation introducing changeability into your voice you can expect the attention of audience. But be careful; make these changes step by step, as sometime you can spoil your natural voice in an important moment.
B.--- ALSO during speaking do not forget about PAUSES. Pauses in your speech will help you to control breathing and make a good effect on audience. But saying PAUSE, I DO NOT MEAN break for 5 or more minutes :D .
C.--- DO NOT FORGET ABOUT TIME. During presentation you can speak too quickly: because of nerves, too much text and a little time or because of many slides. Ignore all these. During editing make your text shorter, plan your presentation according to the time available, and do not think about the quantity of slides, as it is not a problem if the slides are good ones. What about nerves, just RELAX and remind yourself that you are the presenter today and you must BE GREAT.
D.---AND DO NOT FORGET ABOUT RHETORIC. Rhetoric technique include repetition, association and of course humor. During your speech try to repeat some words or phrases so those will become familiar for audience, and they will feel more comfortable. And do not forget about HUMOR. Humorous stories or jokes will make people more attentive and your text will be more interesting. The last one is a very effective technique but you must practice very much, especially if YOU ARE NOT GOOD AT MAKING JOKES.

    7. EYE CONTACT
Remember once and for all, DURING YOUR SPEECH LOOK AT YOUR AUDIENCE. Effective eye contact will helps you to make the feeling of having a one to one conversation with your audience. Of course it is hard, but at the beginning try to find and look at people whom you know. Then move on to familiar faces in your audience. So at the end it will turn out that you look at audience. And try not to look at the floor, but at people, as in my opinion they are much more beautiful and interesting.))

Dear friends of course this reflection is long, but I hope you will read this and try to follow these advices, which will help you to do a good presentation. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION AND GOOD LUCK WITH PRESENTATION :D

  96. My podcast is about “Back-to-School Manners for Parents”. Kids are playing, running, shouting they’re dido and do many other things. And often they get on people’s nerves. If child’s behavior in school or in kindergarten is very bad, people start to think “Whose child is this boy?”, “Hey, I know his parents, that child is like the small kind of his parents” or “Well, that’s true that kids are the reflection of their family”. Parents, if you don’t want to hear comments like those, follow to my advices.
Your child sees and learns good and bad things from you. Of course, learning good things from parents is the best thing, but learning bad things is the worst thing. If you want your child to be polite, kind and clever you must look at yourself, you must have a good behavior , you should never shout at anyone when your child is with you, you should never damn when your child is with you, you should never say things like “Son, if you’ve got in a conflict, fight, fight and fight or you can damn, never say I’m sorry.” instead of that you should give him a good advice like “Yes son, I know that you fought with someone and now you both hate each other, you know instead of fighting you just could tell him that you don’t want to fight with him or you could offer him a peace ”. Of course in some cases you must protect your and your child’s rights. Never damn in the car if you’re with your child, even if your child is a boy. Because your boy already knows bad words, don’t develop that words in his mind.
And the most important thing that you must know is that, never beat your child, it isn’t the right way to educate your child. Because at first, beating your child will break his(her) feelings. The second thing is, if you do that your child will educate his children like that.
And one thing that you should know. If your child’s teacher or even school’s director calls you and tells things that didn’t wait to hear like “Your child is like a small monster!!! He lies teachers, fights with other students and his grades are very low. ”, yes hearing things like that is very terrible. Instead of going and shouting and beating your child think “My son? My son did that things. I’m very angry at him, but why had he did that? Maybe because he’s scared of something or nobody at school likes him or maybe the problem is in me.”, yes it’s the right way. And then after that go and talk with your child, ask him why his behavior is that much bad, find out his behavior’s reason, give him good advices, help him, and at the end say “ listen son, I forgive you and please start to learn more better, go and say sorry to kids, who you’ve fought with and please never lie teachers again. ” And say that things in a polite way.
Remember one thing too, your child is your reflection.
Parents, follow to this advices and educate your children by right way.
From this podcast I’ve learned only one word.
    Dido- joke or evil
    The whole podcast was interesting.
I recommend my friends and parents to listen to this podcast.

  97. Hello!!! I have listened to a podcast called "Brain Smarter Than We Are".The scientists think that our brain can make excellent decisions based on data . And we can take teh advantage of that good decision.
The scentists think that our brain does the best decisions only unconsciously. One of the scientists Alex Pouget at the University of Rochester takes a look at unconscious information gathering. He says that for example stoping at red light is unconscious decision.
They have done a research . The tested people stared at dots moving around in random patterns on a screen. The scientists have asked them were the dots moving left or righ .The longer subjects stared at the screen, the more sure they became of the answer.
Pouget analyzed models of neurons tested. If several points in the group moved to the right part of the brain, which recognizes the right direction on fire. When teh time passed ,they had to light more and more , until the tested people gave sure answers.
Pouget thinks that brains of teht tested people were collecting more inforamtion during that time for giving a definite answer .
In this way our brain does the best choise.
    I advise my friends to listen to this podcast as it was an interesting one . I have learnt some new words from this podcast, for example;
    subconscious -subliminal
    unconscious-subliminal
    data - information
    pattern- picture

  98. Hello everyone! I have listened to a podcast named “Eating unhealthy food”. This Episode is a dialogue between Helen and Gable. It is about some unhealthy food. In dialogue, they’re talking about unhealthy and healthy food. Gable is for unhealthy food because he thinks that unhealthy food more tasty than healthy. Helen is for healthy food and she thinks inside out. The dialogue starts with question, which give Helen. She asked, “What is for lunch”, Gable answered that today for lunch he wants to make a mean sandwich, and he is asking for a help. However, Helen told that she will make only healthy sandwich and added that she doesn’t want to eat an unhealthy like with cold cuts. Everyone will ask “Why?” In addition, Gable asked too. Helen answered that those are processed meats made with additives and a lot of sodium and it isn’t healthy for our body. Gable said, “Okay I would make us salad”. But Helen said with those products you wouldn’t make, because they aren’t organic and they’re full of chemicals. However, Gable said that he could make healthy smoothies. Helen said “Only with fresh fruits”. After Helen’s answer, he gives an idea about opening restaurant. He tells that Helen would come and by healthy food. Helen and said that she doesn’t want to put him to any trouble. Gable said that it’s not trouble at all. He said that he would do anything to get Helen out of his kitchen.
I like this podcast, because it is very interesting. I think everyone is for a healthy food, so I think that Helen is right.
However, I have learned a lot of new words and new phrases. For example, “to help someone out”- means to help another person to do some job or something that is not finished. “To not sound like much”- means to appear to be unimportant, not significant, no big deal. “Mean”- is a kind of meat, something that you put in the sandwich. “Cold cuts”- are thin peaces of processed meat, thinks like turkey, baloney and other thinks, which you cut in thin peaces and you used them when you are making sandwiches. “Processed meats”- are meats that are somehow changed, it is not a same as when it came out of an animal. “Additive”- is something that is extra something that is put on the food. “Saturated fat” –is a type of fat that is sol. It is bed for your heart. “Organic”- in general it means grown without using any artificial or man made chemicals. “Pesticide”- is a chemical used to kill bugs or insects and other things that could damage your trees or flowers.
I would advise my friends to listen to this podcast, because it is very interesting and you can learn a lot of new words and new phrases. In addition, you can get some information about which food is healthy or unhealthy for your organism and about other things about healthy and unhealthy food. You can listen to this podcast in www.eslpod.com ! Thank you for your reading my comment.

  99. Hello!!! I have listened a podcast and I want to share my thoughts with you. The podcast is named “Listening to Club Music”. This podcast is about two friends: Anastasia and Joshua.
One day Joshua and Anastasia went to club. There was DJ, who was the best DJ in the town. Suddenly Anastasia heard a song. At first she didn't understand what song was playing but then the other friend Joshua said that the song was Anastasia's favorite song but it was mixed with other song.
Two friends were there for two hours and listened different kind of music and understood why that DJ was the best DJ in that town. That two girls drunk many cocktails and that cocktails were with alcohol. When they drunk mach cocktails they started arguing with the waiter. DJ called police and police came and reseed them.
I don’t want to offer to my friends to listen this podcast because at first I didn’t listen any difficult words and second it ended badly.

  100. I listened to another podcast from "Quick and Dirty tips'" "Get It Done guy"'s series which is called "Take the Blame". Steven Robbins(the Get It Done guy) said that today's topic was repairing the relationships, or taking the blame. For example: "Yay, yay, I won a raffle(something like casino)! I won a raffle!". It was in his elementary school days, his first raffle win ever. But the teacher was telling him that it wasn't a real raffle, but he didn't confirm the truth. The other raffle was better: he won a ticket for 1000 free CD production or something from a CD company. But he didn't want to produce any CDs, and after 18 months, the inspiration struck him and he called that company. "Sorry, that raffle/ticket expired after a year. You'll have to pay full price". He was amazed because they never said the raffle expires. "And they still want my business? Mummy! Not right now. Let me think about it". And he published this in his company newsletter. He knew that they'll read it and see how upset he was. Later they email him: "Do you need some CDs made?", and he replies clearly: "You promised. You renegged. We won't be doing with you business ever". Their reply was: "Sorry you feel that way. Call us if you change your mind". And their teadline of their business is: "We Create Relationships". Their teadline is wrong. Relationships need 2 to make. All must be happy in the relationships. And we all want relationships with everyone, and we all do some stuff that screw things up. For example, if the customers of your business think you've screwed them(the products are in a bad state), even if it was your neighbor, you have to take the blame. You can't just say "Sorry for that" or "Let me give you 1000 dollars...". Even if it's not your fault, take the blame anyway to repair the relationships.
"Get It Done guy" series don't have many new words, but I found one: Raffle. I didn't know that it's some thing like casino or something. These series are good to listen to and learn english, but for new words and vocabulary, try Eslpod.com.

  101. This is another podcast from GID's(Get It Done guy) series, called "Beat Distractions to Cultivate Focus". Note: You SHOULD listen to this podcast, because Bernice's sound is REALLY FUNNY. Remember to listen to this one.
Bernice decided to lose some weight. As a friend, he helped. He filled his refrigerator with some no-calories chocolate and candies which have no calories and taste. Now, Bernice pops into his office to say stuff like "The chocolate box was opened by Pandora and she ate all of it", but he knew that it was Pandora's brother, he KNEW it. And, Bernice visits his office alot. Each time she comes, it's a new distraction. "Stever. Stever. I want to hire a man from zac fron for our doggy treats". "No, Bernice, we're not hiring anything. It all costs more than blah blah". 10 minutes later: "Stever. Stever. I finally decided to blah blah". And then, because of these distractions, he founds out that he wrote in his documents: "We're going to sell doggy treats to inflatable zac frons" or whatever. Interruptions are the enemies of our work, distracting us from our tasks.
But it won't be a distraction if you have scheduled it, at the time of our own choosing. If you're going to schedule your interruptions, you have to think about the time of these distractions: first think about how many times a day/week you are interrupted, and how much time do you need to deal with them. For example, if you're training earth worms to do fun circus tricks, you'd get like 1-2 hours of interruptions a week. But in fact, if you're training earth worms to do tricks, no one would interrupt you. But if you're working in an office, you'll get 1-2 hours of distractions a day. Now, mark that time of interruptions and name it "Interruption time", like 4:00 PM, Fridays: that will be your Interruption time. Don't schedule anything for that time. If you really have to do something at that time, make new marked interruption hours. Now, when Brenice bumps into your office to ask another silly question, quickly tell her: "Brenice, I love you as I love my own mother, but I can't help you right now. We can discuss Zac Fron at Friday, 6 PM". Always keep your mind on your work. You can also take a sticky note titled "Interruptions", and write there "Brenice. Zac Fron".
But, what if it's your BOSS interruptin you? You can't tell your boss to meet you at your interruption time, can you? Of course you can. "Not now, why not at 7 PM?". If he still interrupts you, you can schedule some "Meeting time", specially for your boss. And you can also add like "I need some focused time to work on my projects and make you, boss, make better for your bosses".
This podcast was very funny and I also found a new word, Cultivate, which means like to form, evolve, etc.. You should listen to this podcast because I couldn't hear to some of the details and Bernice's voice is Very, Very Funny.(This is my 7th podcast: 3-4 more to go D:)

  103. This is another GID podcast which is called "How to choose the Best App". I decided to take this one because many people have mobile devices and fill them with useless apps.
"I downloaded so many apps and I'm overwhelmed with them all! How can I choose the best ones?". Brenice says: "I brought some cupcakes for you". Stever calls out: "When I'm finished with my e-mail, I'll come". 5 minutes later, he finds no cupcakes left, only Brenice licking her fingers. She says that everyone has limited willpower everyday, and she didn't need to waste it to resist to eat a cupcake. Apps are like cupcakes of our minds, we can't resist them. We know we should resist browsing app stores, but we always do. Also, app stores love to tell others their size: "We have 800,000 apps!". It looks like a good thing, like more apps, more choice, which is a bad thing: lots of studies and researches show that it's just a source of stress. And we also don't need 800,000 apps(imagine a phone with such a big amount of apps). The original app combination is made of 4 apps: an andress book, to-do list, a memo pad and a calculator. The 4 applications you need to be productive. Browsing app stores means we have to burn and waste our life energy while searching 4 apps in 500,000 apps.
The 1st rule of finding apps is to know what do you exactly need. "Oh look! This app! I love this one!" "This is my life I'm wasting". Start with your needs. What do you need the app to do? Do you need to be able to backup some data? Must i be compatible with multiple platforms? etc.. Ask yourself: "Do I need this app?". If you don't immediately say "Yes", that counts as a no. Before you start browsing, set a time limit for not wasting all your life. Search some apps and when the time limit is up, choose the best one. Be honest whether you really need it. And if you get an app, revisit it in a month. If it's useless, delete it.
I recommend my friends to listen to some GID podcasts because they're useful, but they don't have many words to learn.

  104. Hello Everyone! Today's first podcast that I have listened to is related to our book (Unit 5),which we have already covered. So the podcast which I have listened to is named "Doing a charity".I didn't believe that it was really about charity, because before this I haven't found any podcast related to our class.
This podcast presents a dialogue between a woman, whose names was Mary, and John, who was Mary's friend.Mary was working in a company, which was doing charities. The director of the company told all his workers to think about doing a charity and think what they had to do for raising money.Mary thought about it and wanted to share her plans with John, before telling it to her director. She told that they can make a movie about homeless people, where will be shown real homeless people. The movie would be shown in cinemas and the money which would be given for tickets they would give to homeless people. With that money homeless people could buy food or clothes for them.By the way they will earn money by acting in the film. She added that with that money they can rent a small house, where they can live.John told that is not a bad idea and Mary could go and tell about her plans to the director of the company where she was working. He also added that the director would add some interesting things and their charity will work.
This podcast was interersting, because we have covered about it and discussed different kinds of charities and I wanted to know how other people raise money for charity.
I will advice my friends and relatives to listen to the same podcast, because it was an interesting podcast,it was easy and the pronounsation was very good (I could understand the words easily).

  105. I have litened to a podcast called "Early writing". In this podcast Professor was telling his grandsons about early life, early stories and early writings...
He told a story that on the twelfth of September 1940,, four boys were exploring caves near the village of Montignac in central France, when they noticed the walls were covered in pictures of bulls, horses and antelopes. They had discovered the oldest known story ever told. The cave paintings of Lascaux are thought to be around sixteen thousand years old, and are the earliest evidence we have that our ancestors told stories. Our ability to talk, however, is thought to have developed as far back as two hundred thousand years ago from a mutation in our brains. This power of speech is largely responsible for the civilizations and technology we have today. Before people could write, telling stories was how history was mainly passed down from generation to generation. This made homo sapiens the only mammals able to recreate and remember their past, and to learn from it and build upon it. It's amazing to think how much we take it for granted. The earliest written story ever discovered is Gilgamesh, which is believed to have been written around two thousand BC. The most complete version of this story was found written on clay tablets in the remains of the library of the ancient Assyrian King, Ashurbanipal, in what is now modern Iraq.
Written in the ancient language of Sumerian, Gilgamesh tells of a superhuman king, and his epic battles to defeat his enemies. It contains a lot of themes still explored in literature today: friendship, love, family, mortality, kingdom, war, and of course, good and evil. The most interesting thing about the story of Gilgamesh is that it's an example of an early, but quite sophisticated, civilization using the power of stories to build a shared identity. It's thought Gilgamesh might actually have been a real, living king, who ruled around that time. If this is so, then it shows that the author intentionally mixed reality and mythology to tell a story of the hopes, fears and dreams of a people which is exactly what we still do today.
We tell stories both about the reality of our life - what we dream of, worry about and fear - and of our community and the wider world. Although we rarely sit around campfires telling stories of our ancestors, we do tell our stories through news programs, movies, TV shows, radio shows and, on a daily basis, in conversation at work and at home. And, instead of carving words onto clay tablets, we record, debate and evaluate our shared history through novels, academic papers, newspapers, magazines, essays and personal diaries. And, in another significant advance for the power of speech, the Internet is changing once more the way we communicate with each other. In fact, publishing your personal experiences and beliefs on a blog isn't that different from painting your hunting adventures on a cave wall or writing them on a clay tablet.Only the format has changed. What it shows is that telling stories is as natural to us as breathing oxygen.

  106. I have listened to a podcased named "Getting Your Kid Ready For Summer" what i have understood from this podcast is that many parents think about summer vacation coming with anxiety and dread. They worry about what their child is going to do over summer vacation or they worry about their child experiencing summer brain drain. But some parents overlook the fact that their children may be experiencing the same anxiety about summer coming.
If child is in the early elementary grades, we have probably noticed tremendous growth in her skills in the last few months of school. She's had an enormous academic growth spurt, but it's also that she's not only used to the routine of school, but has also claimed it as her own. Giving up that routine may not be as easy as we think.
She may understand that summer vacation means her routine will change, but may not yet have grasped that in the fall, with a different teacher, she'll have to learn and claim a new set of rules and classroom routines. It's not a bad idea to get her started thinking about how summer means not only immediate change, but upcoming change as well.
Helping child ease into summer means helping her ease out of that school year and into the idea of the next one.
.Start referencing how much your child has learned over the past school year
.Keep a “how many days until?” calendar.
.Talk to your child about her feelings about “losing” her teacher.
.Talk to your child about summer vacation plans ahead of time.
.Plan a birthday party before the end of the school year for the summer birthday child.
    unknown words:
anxiety - the feeling of being very worried about something
dread -to feel anxious or worried about something that is going to happen or may happen
brain drain - a movement of highly skilled or professional people from their own country to a country where they can earn more money
skil -an ability to do something well, especially because you have learned and practised it
routine -the usual order in which you do things, or the things you regularly do

  107. Hello everyone!Today I am going to write about a podcast which was about our parents. Many parents in Armenia are strict and don't let us do what we want.I think our parents are strict, too. For example,I am not allowed to do everything I want, but I know that our parents do only good things for us.So the podcast I have listened to is named "Being a Strict Parent".
This podcast presents a dialogue between a woman and his friend. They were talking about being strict parent and the woman told that she was a strict mother. She told that she didn't let her daughter do everything they wanted. Her friend asked if her daughter didn't shrink, but she told that they didn't and she wanted to educate them and if she let them do everything they wanted they wouldn't be educated. The woman added that one day her daughter didn't understand her and didn't want to talk to her mother, butthe woman explained that she loved her daughter very much and wanted her to be educated and good person. Her friend wasn't strict, but she tried to understand the woman and told that she wouldn't be strict, but he wouldn't let her son do everything he wanted.
This podcast was interesting, because sometimes I do not understand my mother when she doesn't let me do something.I think by listening to this podcast children will understand their parents.

This podcast presents a dialogue between Ten and Jan.Ten told that for her life is great and when she went to a spa salon she felt very good, forgot about her problems and enjoyed her life. She asked if Jan felt good, too.Jan told that the massage was good and he was enjoying it,too. But he didn't like going to a spa salon so he didn't talk about it very much.Ten liked spa salons very much and gave Jan many questions about spa salons.
This podcast was very boring.I couldn't find any interesting podcast and that's why I wrote about this.

  109. My podcast is about “Driving manners”. Sometimes perfectly lovely people become absolute monsters when they drive their car. Now days almost everyone have cars, but the most of those people don’t know about driving manners. That people always want to be the first one on the road, they don’t yield other cars, men often offend the other car drivers even when they are with their children and with their wives. That people often seem to be pessimists. Well, if you’re a driver too and you don’t want the others to think about you wrong things, follow to my advices.
First of all, prepare yourself mentally when you’re going to drive your car. If there’s a big traffic, you can’t wait anymore, your cup of patience is full, you want to shout very loud and say “I hate everything, when this annoying traffic will end!!!?”, instead of this you can take a couple of deep breath, then think about good things like, imagine that you’re in a some kind of relaxing place, for example: in a big beach where in front of you there’s a beautiful sea, you’re prostrated on that beach and your kids are in the sea. This will work, but don’t think about it for a long time, because your attention will be deflected, you can even forget about reality, you won’t see how the traffic had been ended and then you’ll make a new traffic.
Another example to not think about that annoying traffic. You can turn on your car’s tape recorder choose your favorite song and listen it for several times until the traffic will end.
Those two advices will help you and your manners will be right.
Now driving manners when you’re driving. Imagine that you’re driving your car, you’re with your family, you all are very happy, and you’re going to some kind place and suddenly someone passes you very fast and you both almost were getting crashed. Of course, you’re getting very angry, your wife and children are scared. Of course, you want to stop that car, go and fight with that person or you want to offend that person. Before doing that two things, remember that you’re with your family. If you do those things, you won’t be better than that person. Of course, that fact that you were going to be crashed, is very bad and impolite. But remember that you haven’t been crashed, you and your family is okay. You can forget about it easily. And then you can calm down your family members.
And one thing that you should remember.
Never damn the other drivers, no matter what.
Follow to my advices drivers and everything’s going to be fine.
From this podcast I’ve learned two words.
Yield- to not let someone to pass you
    Prostrate- to lie on something
I recommend drivers, especially armenian drivers to listen to this podcast.

  110. Hello everyone. I have listened to a podcast called “Listening to club music”. This episode is a dialogue between Anastasia and Joshua, about going somewhere to listen to a specific kind of dance music. During the listening to a dialogue, at the same time I am listening a rhythmic music, which makes dialogue more interesting. In dialogue, Anastasia is talking with Joshua and she told that she likes this club a lot and this club is the best club in the city. Than added, that she loves this track and that this track is one of her most lovely tracks. However, the music is very loud and Joshua cannot hear her. That is why he always said “What?” or “Did you say this?” She told that the music gets people pumped up and it is get pounding beat, which is very good and which makes people to feel the music. Anyway, when Joshua asked question to Anastasia, he understood that she couldn’t hear what he asked and than asked more loudly “don’t you think that the music is very loud?’. Anastasia answered, “Oh, you want to listen to the music loudly, if you want go and ask about it to DJ. After her answer, Joshua started getting angry and he shouts “NO”

After that, I don’t know what happened, because dialogue was over.
However, I have learned a lot of new words and new phrases. For example, “to spin”- hear means specifically to play recorded music, to be a DJ in club, spin also means to move something around in a circular way. “To be pumped up”- means to be excites, to be enthusiastic, to be ready to do something. “To sample”- hear means to take small part of a song and create a new song with it, so it is similar to a mixed, but usually, when you are sampling, you are just taking very small part maybe 10 seconds or so from another song and make it a part of a new song. “A pounding beat”- is a very strong rhythm in a song especially for dancing when you go to a dance club that is pretty much you can really hear its pounding beat, which also help you to dance. “Segue”- means to move from one thing to another without any breaks like smoothly. “Mellower”- is something that is more relaxed, something not very loud or excited.

I would advise my friends to listen to the same podcast, because during listening you will listen to some music, which also make dialogue and podcast more interesting. In addition, you can learn a lot of new words and new phrases. You can listen to the same podcast in www.eslpod.com !

  112. Hey guys!I have listened to a podcast called "Magic and Illusions"It was very interesting podcast and it was a dialogue between Patricia and Segio.Patricia persuaded Sergio that the magic show was really great, she said that she had never seen magic show like that, so many amazing magic tricks in her life. But Sergio didn't agree with her and said that he didn't believe a tricks like that,he said that there were only lying them and they were all just illusions.they had seen some really impressive might have hands tricks. And that escape artist seem to do the impossible. He said that it was only miss direction. While Patricia was looking the magician left through the trap door. Maybe that's how that trick was done,he said the magician is only mind reader. But Patricia asked how he knew what she was thinking if he could really read her mind. She was sure any supernatural powers these magician and entertainers claim to have had been done bumped by somebody. Maybe he used the power of suggestion. Who knows. And maybe he was the most billable person whoever lived. There were many new words and expressions in this episode for example,
to blow one's mind - to make someone feel very surprised or a excited or impressed
smoke and mirrors -when you are distracting people to focus their attention on something else or somewhere else
miss direction -to direct someone to the wrong place
a trap door -actually in the floor but you can't see it you don't know what is there
A psychic - a person who says that he or she has the power to know what other people are thinking or even to know what will happen in the future
supernatural - something that is beyond the natural beyond the normal above what normal human beings can do
to be jaded -when you have experienced something too much so that you're no longer. Interested in it or you are no longer become excited.
    billable-paid,something that can be paid

  113. Hello everyone! I have listened to a podcast called “Being arrested by the police”. This episode is a story about someone who is getting into trouble and the police took him. This story is about one man (we can called him Harry), who was walking in the street and he minding his own business, when one police officer stopped him. After asking a couple of questions, the police officer asks him to put his hands behind his back. He was going to arrest him. After arresting him, police officer gave him to Miranda warning. When Harry asked police officer why he gave him to Miranda warning, police officer told that he had probable cause to believe that Harry was the suspect they had been looking for in a robbery that took place on the next street. After listening it, Harry couldn’t believe it. He was completely innocent, but the police officer didn’t want to listen anything. Than police officer, get him to the police station. After a few hours, he was taken to a room and interrogated. The police officer asked him question after question, and after four hours of questioning, he was released. They found out that it was a case of mistaken indemnity. After this mistake, he would rather put entire thinly behind him and hope that harry is never that unlucky again.
However, I have learned a lot of new words and new phrases. For example, “to mind your own business – means that you’re pain attention to your own concerns, and you’re not becoming involve with any other situation, you’re not trying to cause problems. “To handcuff”- is to put this two circles of matter around your rise that are connecting, so that you can move your hands easily “The Miranda warning”- is a statement that police officers have to make to people , when they’re being arrested, telling them that they have certain legal rights, you have a right to remain silent. “A suspect”- is a person who has done something wrong, you are not sure, it hasn’t been proven, but you’ve good reason to think that this person committed a crime. “Robbery”- is when you take something especially money or some other object without someone’s promotion. “Interrogate”- means to ask many questions often in a very aggressive way. “To put something behind you”- means to forget about something.
I would advise my friends to listen to the same podcast because it is very interesting podcast. In addition, you can learn a lot of new words and new phrases from this podcast. You can listen to this podcast on www.eslpod.com !!!

  114. As the first writer I want to say that it is very interesting and more interesting to watch a video than listening to podcast. So I have watched a video called "The shared experience of absurdity".This video is about pranks which have donr Charlie Todd.Charlie Todd is the creator of Improv Everywhere, a group that creates absurd and joyful public scenes. This video is very funny.Charlie Todd started a project 12 years ago when he moved to New York city with an interesting acting and comedy.Caus he was a newcomer and cause he coudn't have a play on stage he decided to do it create his own in public places. So the first project he had done is called "No pants".This happened on January 2002.Charlie Todd decided to do a prank in metro. And there was a woman in the metro and she was reading a book and suddenly she saw a man(Charlie Todd)coming in but without pants. She was shoked and she was looking at this man with surprise. At first but there was not only a man but they were four. Then a few minutes ago came another man without pants. She was surprised and shoked again.A few minutes ago another man came but now she was laughing because she knew that it was January and nobody is crazy to do such thing. It was a prank but funny prank. And Charlie Todd wanted to make fun of people so he didn't do something horrible.
The next project was called "Look up more".One day Charlie Todd was walking at Union Square and suddenly he saw a girl dancing in building which was built in 2005.It was dark outside but there were lighting in.Suddenly Charlie Todd noticed another girl who came and hugged the first girl.Maybe she was her friend and they started to dance. At that moment Charlie understood what he was going to do.More than seventy actors came to thta building and they were catching a big board paper. On that paper was written "Look up more".And one of the actors was dancing like freaking idiot then another actor was dancing and so on.More than three thousand five hundred people were watching them.
The next project is called "Best Buy".It was very funny cause in best buy the sellers were wearing blue polo shirts and light brown pants. And the actors were wearing blue polo shirts and light brown pants. The sellers were surprised. And they call the police but ythe police said that it isn't illegal to wear blue polo shirt and brown pants.
This video was very interesting and funny.I can say very funny.I really like watching videos.I would advise my friends to watch to this episode cause they will laugh a lot. There were also some few words which I didn't know.

  115. Hello 10 minutes ago I listened an interesting podcast about British people.I hadn't known that they are crazy. The are fans of tea with milk. They drink it every day in exact time:5 o'clock pm.You know no matter where they are.If the army of enemy is attacking to there island at 5 o'clock pm they leave the enemy and run to drink tea with milk. You know the drink one million cups of tea in a year and I think that it is impossible that in hospitals there is no place for ill people(55% is ill with flu). But it is not right that British people aren't good in anything.80% of English football teams have been champions of UEFA. I like British football teams, tea and etc.
I don't offer you to watch this podcast for not to disappoint.
