The text is about four kind and careful men who live in a house in London. In their house, there are more than 30 tonnes of toys and food which they had piled from floor to ceiling. The men,David Goodfellow,Benny Crane,James Hunter and Callum Teach were able to convince companies to give them 250,000 funt sterling worth of toys and food-for nothing. Finally they called themselves "Kindness Offensive".Their job is to specialise in carrying out random acts of kindness for tatal strangers. David Goodfellow always says that he believes that people are good. They watch programmes about poverty on TV. At first, people didn't believe that they were genuine. And it was very difficult for them to pay enormous phone bills.Despite they overcame all difficulties they they are working to do even impossible, of course within the limits of their powers. Most people were deeply suspicious. They didn't think they'd live up to out promises. Last October they distributed more than 25 tonnes of food and asylum seekers.James Hunter said that it was awful ro see how asylum sekkers were treated and they had met people who were struhhling just to live. Hi !!! I want to speak about something that I read in the book. And at first I thought it is gonna be something about job or money but then I understood that this text is about people who try to help poor people. They collect toys or food. They also get a lot of money and it means that they do something good and for that help they get something. I would say this is very good job with money and the most important is that they help poorer people. They do not try to make them famous or well-known they are just trying to help people and to get people to see that it is possible to be kind to other people. I advise my friends and adults or even teens that they can do something like this and make people to be king to other people.
And all this is called KINDNESS OFFENSIVE !!!!!! Kris Samuel
Hi everybody.I read a good summary about 4 kidness makers that help pure people in London. They are 4 boys that live in London in their house. The 4 men help pure people by giving them toys and food. They are doing that In hall city by buss. They also persuaded companies to give them £250, 000 worth of toys and food. They were getting money to buy food and toys too. Then they named their company' Kindness offensive'.Year by year they were helping different kinds of people who needed such help. This good think to help other people helped them to get their job.For this kind things they becamed famous people all over the world. And now we know about them in Armenia too.Not every person could do this kind of thing because this is very difficult job to find people that need help. Please!!! Listen to my advise. If you will be teenager In the future and if you couldn't find job do this kind of things like helping other people.))) Thank you for your reading!!!!
Hey Guys!!! I read a good summary about kindness makers. They are helpers and they help poor people and also doing other things. They live in London and the members are David Goodfellow,Benny Crane,James Hunter and Callum Teach. And they collect £250, 000 to buy food toys etc. Then they think what called their group or company.KINDNESS OFFENSIVE.And there called their group Kindness Offensive.I learned much about them and it was at 2011 that james Hunter went to the shopping and when one man saw that he buy a toy he cried that this is a James James Hanter and all people in supemarket ran to have a signiture. There company started in 2008 year. And they had a Pancake day in 2009 or Kindival on April 2009.People said that there important and intersting event is TKO Toy Run.It is a competiton that Toys must ran and who's toys ran faster that toys owner have a prize 4500$ and they must give that money to poor people. And they had a Pancake Day too in 2010 and TKO gave him 500,000 pancake. They had a summer festivals too in 2011 and Barclaycard Kindness Offensive In December 2011 and they cooperated with BBC.Then they haden't have a event and that questions answer I don't know. I agree with Artyom's idea. Thank you for your Attention!!!
Hi everyone. I want to speak about four people who persuaded companies to give them 250,000 Euros worth of food and toys. They said that it was very easy. All what you must do it is to call companies until you get to talk to someone who is friendly. And then when companies were giving things to Kindness offensive they were buying food and drinks and then they were giving that food and toys to poor people. Then one year later they started to work with them "Kindness Offensive". At first people didn't trust them, but now it's OK. And Mr. Goodfellow said that he believes that deep down, most people are good. He said that they want to help other people. In this summery I want to say that they are not trying to be famous or make themselves good. They were trying to show people that it's possible to be kind to other people.
The text is about four humanists who live in London and are doing many things to make trust each other. They have persuaded companies to give them 250,000 euros worth of toys and food for nothing. They are going to give them away across north London. That four humanists are: David Goodfellow, Benny Crane,James Hunter and Callum Teach. When they started working together, they called themselves "Kindness Offensive". They specialize in carrying random acts of kindness for total strangers. Many people didn't trust them at first, but now it's OK. David Goodfellow believes and tells everyone that there are good people. Also guys are telling that they don't want to be famous, they just want to proof that being kind to people is very easy.
The text was about for men who started working together a year ago whith their "Kindnesss Offensive" in London. They decided to do nice things, to help poor people. They decided to give them 250,000 e., toys and food. They said that it is a great thing to do nice things, and it's easy to help others. They said that thay only need to make lots of phone calls to companies until they get to talk to someone kind and friendly, whow will give things that they can give away. They wanted to help to asylum seekers to become full members of society. The "Kindness Offensive" people are trying to show more people that all can do kind and good things to other people and help everyone. And it is possible...))
This text is about four people in London, who want to do nice things and to make other people to do nice things too. Jow they can do nice things? They persuaded companies to give them $250,000 worth of toys and food, than they will give toys and food to poorer people by a bus. They said that this is easy to do. Only thing that you must do is that you must make calls to companies and than talk with someone who is friendly. Than they give you things that, you can give away. The four men started working together a year ago with their “Kindness Offensive”. Many people don’t trust them, but now it’s ok. They told that they want to make people nicer. For example, ` they give food to asylum seeker in the UK. The members of “Kindness Offensive” company told that the members of asylum treated badly, and that they couldn’t get a job or buy food, because they seek. The “Kindness Offensive” people are not wanting be famous. They want to make people nicer and they want to prove that it’s easy and nice to be kind!!!
"kindness Offensives" is a text about four people who have decided to do good things and to get other people also do that. For example they have persuaded companies to give them £ 250,000 worth of toys and food to do charities for poor children by using a double - decker bus. David Goodfellow and his three friends, Benny Crane, James Hunter and Callum Teach call themselves "The Kindness Offensive". They say that they are trying to help people to be nicer. They have helped many different kinds of people, including giving a lot of food to asylum seekers in the UK. They say that it is quite easy to do this - all you need to do is make lots of phone calls to companies until you get to talk to someone who is friendly. Then they give you things that you can give away. The "Kindness Offensive" people are not trying to make themselves celebrity or famous, they are just trying to get more people to see that it is possible to be kind to other people.
Our class has read a story in the book about four people who decided to change the world and do good deeds, they call themselves "The Kindness Offensive". I've figured out why do they call themselves "Kindness OFFENSIVE", because these days people don't trust each other, are evil, etc., and they make the people happy, nice and good the offensive way: you can't just ask people to be nice. They started their operation by encouraging firms to give them 250'000 euros worth food and toys. They got a giant bus, filled it with the goodies and drived around London giving it all away. David Goodfellow, the leader of Kindness Offensive, says that he believes that everyone is good and nice and they all want to help each other, but it's all half-hearted. "We're taught to mistrust each other", he says, "We are encouraged to report our neighbour's suspicious behaviour. We never help each other". They care for everyone, giveaway stuff to kids and elders. In short, they go to great lengths to change the world and it's mistrusting climate. They also look for asylum seekers: they donated 25 tonnes of food do to them. The Kindness Offensive doesn't like publicity, but they're recruiting more and more members to do good acts like them. The last person signing up was Michael, David Goodfellow's father. "What I've learnt is that kindness is infectous. If you do good deeds, you'll get a lot out of it and others will follow". Maybe if people read this text(the story, not this summary), they all will be kind and the world will change, as elders say, back to Soviet Union. (Ay vor soveti vaxt er...)
Hello everyone! As we know we have to write a true story, which happened to us,but when I read the exercise I found that we can make up a story, too.I thought a lot and understood that I can't remember any story which happened to me and decided to make up a story which will be as lively as possible. As the exercise requires, the story is called "Misunderstanding". Two years ago a family went to Dubai. The family was consisting of father John, mother Ann and their daughter Susie. They went to their hotel and saw that it was a very big hotel, where were working people from different nations and countries, but the family didn't pay much attention to it.They relaxed and after one hour decided to go to some malls. They took a taxi and started to explain where they wanted to go.They driver was chinies and spoke in accent and also used some words which the family couldn't understand. Finally, after 10 minutes they explained the driver. They arrived to the mall. They found things to buy, went to cafes, but the same problem was. They could explain them what they needed, but with difficulty. When they went back to Armenia they understood that each person speaks English in a different way and Susie had to learn English very well, because they wanted to understand other people's speech. I know that the story wasn't very good, but I couldn't think of a better story.I hope that you liked it (I disliked) and it's not too bad story:D
Hi everyone!!We know that we must to write a story named "A misunderstanding".In book was written that we must to write a story that happened to us i was thinking about it but suddenly i saw that we can make up a story too.And i decided to make up story about misunderstanding. 6 months ago one boy whose name is Trip went to China for his education. When the airplane took down he went to get to TAXI.When he sat down man who was driving a TAXI talked to him in Chinese with a strange accent and Trip wasn't understanding chines so good and he decided to speak with him in English.Trip said to driver to drive to Hotel but the driver went to Restaurant (he didn't understood it).And Trip lost his temper he went to Restaurant very angry because nobody was understanding him. When he was talking with a man who was bringing food this man not understood him and brang him Pizza not potato.Trip was not very angry when he went to Hotel because manager knew English. After 3 months Trip came back to California. And 2 days later he meet his friend who was from Russia. They went to cafe and when Trip's friend was talking to waiter waiter was not understanding what he was saying to him and Trip said in his mind (story is starting):D.This was my story about misunderstanding.I think that my blog isn't very good but it's not a very bad story too. Thank you for your reading!!! :)
Once upon a time there was a boy named Bob. He lived in UK, Scotland. When Bob finished 9th grade he moved to London, because London was definitely better than any other cities in UK. In his school there was a boy from America named Tom. Bob and Tom became friends very quickly. Bob was learning good, had high grades, and he also learned the American-English word differences like Lorry/Truck or Lift/Elevator. Tom wasn't learning too good, middle grades. After the school, they decided to hangout and went to a cafe. When the waiter asked what did he want, Tom said "I'd like some ice-cream and biscuits". When the waiter was back, he brought ice-cream and pie instead of biscuits. Tom was upset and whispered to Bob "I don't have any more money, so we can't re-order. Why did he bring pie, not biscuits?". Bob told the waiter that Tom was from America and says "Biscuits" instead of "Cookies". The waiter understood them and laughed, saying "Sorry, we don't have cookies right now, but we'll give you your money for the pie back". They ate the ice-cream and went to a shop to buy Tom's favourite cookies. This misunderstanding didn't have terrible endings, but it was a misunderstanding after all. The end.
Our class has to write a story called "Misunderstanding". I've created my own story, which is called "Fat Woman". There was a fat woman named Ippo, she was kind and shy person. She was industrious, but she had a big problem, she couldn't grow thin. Also her name was a little bit strange. Her name and her fatness brought her to strange story. Once she went to zoo. She saw very interesting and beautiful animals. When she was passing the site of hippopotamus, someone cried "Look what a big and fat hippo!". Ippo thought that guy said Ippo, but not Hippo. She didn't see that hippopotamus, so she thought that guy was withe her. She got a shame, then she started to cry and ran to her house. Everyone were laughing at her, she was thinking that they were laughing at that "Hippo", but they were laughing, because of her running. That guy understood that the woman, who was running had hurt him. Guy's name was Aram, he ran and cried"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you!!!", but she was running and wasn't listening to him. Ippo took a taxi, so Aram too, he followed to her and found out her living place. Aram wanted to say sorry, but he thought that he has to give that woman some kind of present. As Aram was very rich, he bought her a machine, which allowed people to grow thin in 1 week. So 2 days later he brought her the present and said "Hello, my name's Aram, I'm the guy, who hurt you. I'm sorry, I didn't want to hurt you,. O, sorry I haven't asked your name". She said very quietly "My name is Ippo". "Aaa! that's why you ran and started crying" said Aram. "You thought that I've said what a fat Ippo?. No, I said Hippo. Ha Ha Ha!!!". They both started to laugh. "O, I forgot I've brought you a present" said Aram. Ippo looked at the present and said "Thank you for this expensive present, but you know I like me even if I'm very fat. So I can't take this present, really.". Aram said "Well, I guess you're right, but I don't know what to do with this present.". Ippo said "Well, you can sell it and give the money to charity.". "You're right, again" said Aram. And all this story was because of a little misunderstanding.
Once upon a time a girl called Jessica who was from America (California)went to London for studying. She really was astonished seeing the beuty of London. She knew english really good. And she was sure in her powers and with strong power she went to exam. She wanted to go to school by metro. She went tometro station and when she got she didn't know the place od subway and she asked a women where the subway was but unfortunatly the woman didn't know british english well.So she didn't know what the subway was.Jessica didn't know what to do cause she didn't know American english well.So she couldn't say the word subway in american english. She was in a hurry and she was in panic cause after five minutes the exams would start.Suddenly a man saw that Jessica was trying to explain the word subway to that woman and fortunatly that man knew american english and british english well.He showed the right direction to Jessica and Jessica ran very fast. Then the man explain the woman that subway is pavement. And after that the woman knew the the word subway.

In the text called “The kindness Offensive” are presented four friends: David Goodfellow, Benny Crane, James Hunter and Callum Teach, who genuinely want to help other people, taking nothing in return. According to Mr. Goodfellow’s words deep down most people are good, they can do king things even to strangers and it is remarkably easy to get hold of items from them to give away, if you persist. Every day these 4 friends phone endless companies to see if they are willing to donate something, and after long researches they always find some.
At first people did not believe them and did not think they would live up to their promises. But then they learned how to do it properly and earned the trust of many people. They have persuaded companies to give them £250,000 worth of toys and food for children; they helped asylum seekers and many other people.
Now The Kindness offensive goes to great length to avoid publicity. And David’s father, Michael, the last person who signed up, believes that: “Kindness is infectious, if you do good deeds, you’ll get a lot out of it and others will follow you”.

ReplyDeleteAfter the school, they decided to hangout and went to a cafe.
ReplyDeleteOnce she went to zoo.

ReplyDeleteIn the text called “The kindness Offensive” are presented four friends: David Goodfellow, Benny Crane, James Hunter and Callum Teach, who genuinely want to help other people, taking nothing in return. According to Mr. Goodfellow’s words deep down most people are good, they can do king things even to strangers and it is remarkably easy to get hold of items from them to give away, if you persist. Every day these 4 friends phone endless companies to see if they are willing to donate something, and after long researches they always find some.
ReplyDeleteAt first people did not believe them and did not think they would live up to their promises.
